    Paolo delivers

by Youngster on 2014-09-19Sound Academy - Toronto

First time seeing Paolo and was not sure what to expect, but all doubts were blown away by the singer and his extremely tight band. I loved the reworking of the older songs as much as his performance of all the new ones. The band really were spot on as well and really rocked the whole show. The only downside was the slightly bassy sound, which I put down to the venue.

    Time for Bigger Venue

by harty on 2014-09-19Sound Academy - Toronto

I just think it is time for Paolo to play at a bigger venue. From the Mod Club, now to the Sound Academy...next time around lets play Massey Hall. Loved the show. Damn the accent when he introduces a song or has a chat though. Eight band members on stage. They were dynamite.

    Paolo Nutini was amazing!!

by Ragdollcat on 2014-09-18Sound Academy - Toronto

Paolo Nutini came on stage on time at 9:02PM; how often does that happen! He performed for 1.5 hours; would have liked more, but... What I would have changed was that he perform at Massey Hall. I think he could have filled this venue and we wouldn't have had to stand for 3 hours.

    Paolo Nutini is pure talent!!!

by ChelseaMedley on 2014-09-18Sound Academy - Toronto

I took my friends to see Paolo Nutini at Sound Academy in T.O. and they absolutely loved him! They couldn't believe that they hadn't heard of him before! They've been thanking me ever since for bringing him into their lives...lol! If he wants a Public Relations Manager that will make sure people know about him over here and see how fantastic he is...I'm his woman! This guy is an amazingly talented singer/songwriter. The crowd was blown away! :) Paolo put his heart and soul into his concert and is genuinely appreciative of his fans.

    Great Artist. Amazing Concert

by TheDecentHitman on 2014-09-18Sound Academy - Toronto

As great as Paolo's studio albums are, he showed that he could deliver even more engaging music live. His voice is incredible, and his band were amazing as well. Would definitely love to go another concert of his.

Probably the last chance to see Nutini is a small venue. A memorable evening.

    Living Legend

by JonR on 2014-09-18Sound Academy - Toronto

I hesitate to write a review of this concert for fear that more will discover him and I won't get the same incredible experience as I did this time. But for the sake of all humanity, let me say that this concert was nothing shy of the best thing I have EVER seen. Paolo is a living legend who has a stage presence that captures you from the moment he steps out and never lets you go. His voice is perfection and nothing is lost live. Can not wait to see him again!

    One of A Kind

    by kiki3456 on 2014-09-18Sound Academy - Toronto

Wake up North America! This man is a genius! I cannot understand how he hasn't cracked the North American market! The show was amazing to say the least. From the horn section, to the percussions and the lead guitar ….so in sync and sooooo good! The female backing vocals was a nice addition to his sound. His voice is mesmerizing and his stage presence is somewhat understated but in a good way. Loved his "stripped" version of Pencil Full of Lead. Loved it when Paolo was up on stage with just his guitar. It is then that you can hear the beauty in his voice and not to many artists can pull that off! When my friends ask what style of music he plays I don't know how to answer! It's a little but of blues, swing, funk and just down right soul all wrapped up into one beautiful package! Keep doing what you are doing Paolo…..the world will catch up to you eventually!

Paolo Nutini's performance showed all his talent

by racerope on 2014-09-18Sound Academy - Toronto

This young man has such an expressive voice and songs that show his talents, he can literally be compared to some of the best performers in the world .... the likes of Joe Cocker, Burton Cummings, Paul Stanley and Robert Plant come to mind. You should check out his music and watch his career bloom. The Sound Academy leaves a bit to be desired. We were half-way back and the voices were muffled on a few songs. Hard to believe when the place is named "sound" academy!

the man is already a living legend, so talented and professionnal. even though the sound system from the shitty place that is the sound academy was ruining part of the show, he remains a real pro

    Nutini the Real Deal

An amazing and passionate performance by a rock and roll and soul singing hybrid. He put everything into this show and the crowd was not disappointed.

    Solid show

by scubasteveslady on 2009-09-25Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

As always, Paolo ignored the barely swaying Vancouver crowd and rocked out. He tried his best to get those in front of the stage involved, but to no avail. His energy, enthusiasm and heart were consistent throughout the show. He puts on a solid performance and I would recommend him to anyone, even if they may not be a fan of his music initially. His live performance will win you over.

    Exceeded expectations

by PaoloFanAgain on 2009-09-22Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Paolo had a disappointing second CD after an amazing first. Went to concert despite the poor second CD and he won his way back into my current CD collection. Paolo appeared a little "wasted" but it didn't affect the quality of the show. Keep up the writing Paolo - don't waste you talent.
