With their riff-heavy hard rock, California’s Queens of the Stone Age have become torchbearers for the brand of distorted, head-banging rock popularized by bands like The Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters. 2013’s …Like Clockwork – their first album in six years – proved that time had not mellowed their hard-edged sound, earning praise from critics for its thrashing intensity and landing the band their first No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200. Tracks like “My God Is the Sun” and “I Sat by the Ocean” showcased their bridling ferocity and worked their way up the Alternative Songs chart, leaving little doubt that QOTSA are as on top of their game as ever. Founded in Palm Desert in the late ‘90s, the band would release several albums before teaming up with Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters on 2002’s hugely successful Songs for the Deaf, which earned the band their first Grammy nomination for hit single “No One Knows.” On tour in 2013, the band has been taking ticket buyers by storm with their muscular sound and their visually stunning live concerts.

So good. Lightshow: amazing. Band: perfection. What else can I say?
Keep getting better, appreciated the over 2 hour set. Amazing night!
Great show, could have done without the bubbles appearance.
Qotsa delivered an ear splittin, guitar raging, crowd surfing extravaganza. Best concert in years!!!!
I absolutely thought it was wonderful spectacular, my only concern with Ticketmaster having the monopoly is that if something ever happened to my phone on the way to the show it was broken or smashed or compromised. How would I get in to see the show that I paid for ?
Well done. Sound was great lights were great. Beer was close. Had a great time
Haven't been to a concert in many years, but QOTSA more then made up for all those lost years. The song set-list is a best hits tour, so awesome to see. I can't stop humming QOTSA songs, and it's been almost a week after the concert. If you can see them, I highly recommend seeing them.
Phenomenal from start to finish, a good old fashioned rock show with a hyped crowd. Exceeded expectations, they’re the real deal
They were really good, included the crowd. I loved it!
Queens of The Stone Age absolutely killed their show in Moncton, NB. A much deserved and needed concert for the city, everything from the venue lighting, stage setups, and performances were top notch.
First time seeing them live and knew I wouldn't be disappointed. It's always nice when big artists take the time to come to the smaller venues. Song For The Dead was a great way to round off the encore! My neck still hurts (3 days later). Come back to New Brunswick anytime! \m/
QOTSA puts on a consistently fabulous show. No two nights have the same setlist. They are always professional, fun-loving, and acoustically fantastic. I look forward to my next concrt-going experience with them!
Great venue - furthest seats were still reasonably close to the stage, allowing good view. However, the lighting during the show was overkill and too focused outward to the audience and made it difficult to see the band members. Facilities were good and staff friendly. The headliner band QotSA were fantastic and the opening band the Struts were awesome - so much fun. A night of terrific music!
Not much to say other than amazing light show, band sounded unreal live. They put on a great show and played everything I could have asked for. Encore was unreal.
The show was great musically. The sound in the bowl, section 121 row L seats 124-127, was a bit blown out and unclear at certain points. That is, if you could hear anything over the drunk group of five 20 somethings close by who were absolutely too loud and drunk then should have been allowed to remain in attendance. In a bar or pub setting, they would have been removed from the premises, without a doubt, and their constant, inappropriate hollering made it impossible to enjoy most of the QOtSA set; we left before the show was even finished.
Show was initially going to be a disaster as the stage set up was changed last minute. What were great tickets were now side stage with an obstructed view. However, the venue staff were prepared for this and were able to offer us equivalent tickets with a much better view. Night saved! In terms of the show itself, QOTSA delivered! Started off with a bang to get the juices flowing with No One Knows and sprinkled in songs from the new album amongst more of their well known songs that you just need to hear. Loved that they closed with Go With the Flow and Songs for the Dead. Happy they played Little Sister as it’s my favourite song of theirs. The Struts were a formidable opening and did a great job of working the crowd. Many people in attendance want to see them come back as an headliner. Overall, the reviews from people who attended the show were overwhelmingly positive.
This band is high energy, engaging & a must see act! They are a bunch of musician's musicians. They don't just play their instruments they fully understand how they work. If you haven't heard QOTSA play it is time to check them out. They get better & better with each listen.
Great rock show!!!! The Struts were amazing as an opener.
First time going to a concert. It was awesome. They played some of their best songs, and the environment was electric. I hope I can see them live again!
