Red Hot Chilli Peppers on Tour
To many, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are more than just a Los Angeles rock band from the '80s -- they're musical pioneers who took the world by storm with their eclectic blend of funky, alternative punk rock laced with hip-hop that sounded unlike anything anyone had heard before. The band first formed in Los Angeles in 1983 and quickly gained a following large enough to sell 300,000 copies of their debut self-titled album. Over the next few years, the band experimented with different musical genres and went through lineup changes, proving themselves to be one of the most innovative and resilient rock groups in recent history. In 2022, the Grammy-winning band released Unlimited Love -- their 12th studio album and first one with original guitarist John Frusciante since 2006's Stadium Arcadium. Celebrating the release of the new album, the band hit the road for a global tour featuring all four original members -- vocalist Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and Frusciante. Be sure to see this legendary ensemble back in action performing classic hits and new songs by grabbing tickets to see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in a city near you today.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers Live in Concert
In 1987, Red Hot Chili Peppers were named Band of the Year by LA Weekly, but the band really hit their stride with their fourth album, 1989's Mother's Milk, which cracked the Billboard 200 and went gold a year later. The RHCP had earned worldwide recognition by the time they dropped Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991). The album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and the album's first single, "Give It Away," took off like wildfire, soaring to the top of the charts and eventually winning the band a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal in 1993. The album also featured the single "Under the Bridge," which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 -- their highest-charting single to date. To promote what some might call the Red Hot Chili Peppers' magnum opus, 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magik, three of the era's biggest bands -- Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam -- joined the Blood Sugar Sex Magik tour as opening acts. Whenever it was time for the headlining set to come on, seeing the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in concert would always feel like an invigorating burst of energy for all the people packed into sold-out stadiums. Their funk-rap breakdowns, animated stage presence, and minimal clothing attire offered relief from the brooding grunge of the punk-metal status quo. All in all, Blood Sugar Sex Magik was a tremendous commercial success, selling 12 million copies to date, cinching the #186 position on Rolling Stone's list of the Top 500 Albums of All Time, and winning three out of the seven MTV Music Award nominations it received.
The band made the Rolling Stone Top 500 list a second time with Californication (1999), their seventh studio album and most successful yet with 16 million copies sold. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers supported the album on tour for two consecutive years at sold-out venues across the world. The album lit a californi-craze for the RHCP that has burned steady since. The first live album, recorded during a 2004 Red Hot Chilli Pepper concert in Hyde Park, was the No. 1 event of the year on Billboard's Top Concert Boxscores with a record-breaking number of 258,000 fans and a total of over $17 million in tickets sold in the span of three nights.
Since then, they've been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2012), released a handful of more albums: 2006's Stadium Arcadium, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200; 2011's I'm With You, which hit No. 2; and 2016's The Getaway, which also peaked at No. 2.

I love the chili peppers, and have done so since I was a little kid. This concert and its songs transported me back in time, and every single song moved me. I feel blessed to have been able to experience it
Play time was a bit short. seems like the performance was a bit of a cash grab and run. I love the red hot chilis but I was let down by this performance.
I loved everything the RHCP did through the years. They have been different from the start and still are. I truly enjoyed the Unlimited Love concert. Just loved the songs that they picked, the energetic delivery and the colourful performance: Brilliant!. I firmly think that some people just get old as they grow in years, yet that some other “EVOLVE”. Thank to the RHCP constant musical evolution, they are still WOWING the public into their 40 years performing. I loved the show and so did everyone else at BC Place in Vancouver: They made us all feel happy.
I’ve been to several RHCP shows and they always deliver. This show did not disappoint! A bit of a lack of merch but everything else was great! A perfect set for a perfect night
Great concert by RHCP. The stage was fantastic and featured awesome graphics that went brilliantly with the music. Enjoyed thoroughly.
Had floor tickets. 15 rows back and center. Best time ever. Put in a great show. Was not disappointed. Had a blast!!!
Would have been nice if the stage had been more centred to the area , quite far from all views except if you had front row .
The stage was so far away, I was second row but it felt miles away my phone couldn’t even pick up a decent picture. It would be better with a full walk through stage for some more crowd interaction. There was no control of crowds on the floor level & only one washroom, had to hike up to the upper level to go to the bathroom. Seats were rickety & too close together. I gave it a 8/10 simply bc the peppers were fricken awesome. But in general it was a 6
Friendly staff and bartenders. Staff at merch tables were patient and friendly with us as well. Had honestly been counting down the days to see RHCP live and the whole experience was amazing😁
Really enjoyed this concert and was amazing to finally see Chili Peps! Tickets were reasonable and staff were friendly at the venue! A nice time had!
Buy far the best Vancouver set list to date. Can’t wait to see them again soon!!!
Great sound. Great screens. Lots of alcohol, weed and drunks collapsing which disrupted my enjoyment but the band was good. City and color had great vocals. Didn't play under the bridge:(🌉
Such a great concert. I’m sad they didn’t play Scar Tissue, but time will heal all wounds.
A great show that was nitro energy fuelled. Too bad the RHCP's chose B.C. Place instead of Roger's arena . B.C. Place has the worst acoustics !!
Ticketmaster experience was top notch. Red Hot Chilli Peppers were absolutely amazing. The venue acoustics were seriously poor.
The concert itself was fantastic. My only beef was with the mixing stage having a roof which blocked our view of the stage. There could have been a note attached to our tickets before we bought them indicating this. Otherwise, great show.
The sound was pretty good as well as the visuals, good variety of songs played. Felt they could have stayed on a little longer as they have such a huge catalog of music, no Under The Bridge or Scar Tissue, bit disappointing.
1st time seeing the Peppers. Awesome show. Well worth the $ spent on my ticket. They sounded fantastic and put on a fabulous show. Hoping they come back again soon, can't wait to see them again!
GREAT SHOW! 4th time and still great! Will definitely go again!
