About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

I last saw rush over 30 years ago (!). They've only improved with the years and put on as awesome a show now as I remember from back then. Brilliant!

  • Rush was fantastic.

by slade on 2011-07-01MGM Grand Hotel - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

They started off with a little movie and all were dressed in different costumes. Alex was a fat guy and you couldn't recognize him. Then they came on and I think started with "Spirit of Radio." They played 90 minutes of great tunes and then intermission. After that they did the whole Moving Pictures album and the last song of the night was Working Man. They played so well like always and it was so cool to be in Vegas seeing them as I'm from Canada too.

  • Rush was out of control

by QBob on 2011-06-30MGM Grand Hotel - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

A total blast from the moment they took the stage til the last encore. Almost 4 hours of pure rock energy. I have no idea how these guys can still rock as hard as they can; Neil Peart especially is godly on the drums. The playthrough of the entire Moving Pictures album was just about the experience of a lifetime. La Villa Strangiato was legendary. Not a dull moment, although it was a good balance between their classics and some of their newer material (hence the "time machine" theme of the tour), some of which I'm less fond of. But this was still a life-changing time.

Very Very Good. . . Was my sixth time seeing these guys ( first time was around 81 , This was my first in U.S. ) and in several ways the best one yet .

  • RUSH was hot in the desert!!!

by Reviewer007 on 2011-06-28MGM Grand Hotel - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Traveled from Vancouver to Las Vegas to watch RUSH at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on June 24th, 2011. The show was awesome...the boys blasted the roof off the Garden. The 18,000 in attendance went bonkers when they opened the show with 'Spirit of Radio' and things only got crazier when they worked their way through the 'Moving Pictures' album. Geddy, Neil and Alex are still a must see and hear - 2.5 hours of pure rock !

  • Rush - best Vegas show in the last couple years

by rmch on 2011-06-28MGM Grand Hotel - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The band was spot-on technically, and threw in a few twists that I haven't seen before.

  • Outstanding as usual

by kerb on 2011-04-29Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Rush is my favourite band and I was very happy that I journeyed all the way to Hamilton to see them. This is the same show I saw last summer and will also be the same show when my girlfriend and I go to see them in Vancouver at the end of June. They do the entire Moving Pictures album, which is my personal favourite. There's maybe only a couple of different other songs that I would have chosen, but what can you do? They have so many great ones and they play them all very well. I feel privileged to witness three of the greatest musicians of all time. Also, the sound quality in Copps Coliseum was quite good.

  • Rush was AWESOME!!!!!!!

by cygnusyyz on 2011-04-26Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

It was my 20th aniversary show!!!!These three modern warriors were great as always!!! They seem to rippen with age!!Has to be the tightest band that I have ever seen, not one mistake all nite long!!!!!

  • Rush Gets Better with Age

    by tree10 on 2011-04-25Copp's Colliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Like a fine wine, Rush just gets better with age! I had the priviledge of being centre stage 6th row and could not believe how personal the show felt. Geddy and his expressive face, Alex's deft chord playing ability and of course, Neil's expert drumming have given me a memory I shall always cherish!! They are without a doubt a must see in my books!! Rush is definately a premium band and a Canadian Treasure!!

  • This is REAL music

by Mwalsh on 2011-04-25Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Unreal concert. Sold out and RUSH knows how to put on a show. From Spirit of Radio to the last bars of Working Man RUSH gave it their all. I know tickets are a little pricey however it was worth every cent. This is real music and these guys are amazing. Can't wait for them to come back.

  • RUSH Time Machine

    by Beetle133 on 2011-04-25Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

An absolutely FANTASTIC concert! I went with my 14 yr old son and we were both blown away. These guys are still fantastic on stageand they look like they are still havingalot of fun playing with one another

  • Best Rush Concert Yet!

by PauldaPilot on 2011-04-24Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

I travelled 34 hours to see Rush. It was worth every grueling minute. Unlike the drive, the concert was a fantastic performance! When Rush plays, they sound better than the studio albums. Their technical prowess is second to none and the guitar, bass, and drum solos were better than ever. Geddy's voice is a little rougher than before on the higher notes and with any other band his might pose a problem. But not with these Rock Superstars! Rush has a die-hard following because they are the best! Don't take my word for it, go see for yourself.

  • Rush - Strong and Fun as Ever

by GrenZ on 2011-04-24Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

These guys just continue to inspire. High energy musician's musicians.

  • by HEARTSTAR on 2011-04-24Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Great show And the sound was great for an arena. I still have the songs in my head.

  • Welcome home Neil

by RushFan on 2011-04-24Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

I was anxiously awaiting the return of my favorite band to the area, and although I heard it was the exact same setlist as last years tour, it didn't matter. These guys can rock your socks off!!!! After a three hour show, I still wanted more. RUSH never gets old, and in fact, they sound better today, than they did the first time I saw them in '79. Just like fine wine, they get better with age.
