About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

by TONative on 2010-10-04Cruzan Amphitheatre - West Palm BeachRating: 5 out of 5

I may be biased as a Torontonian by birth but the performance was awesome. They haven';t lost anything over the years!

  • Rush was as rush is.

by Dadden on 2010-10-031-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre At the Florida State Fairgrounds - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Rush several times and this latest concert was the most amazing I've seen the band yet. Of all the rock concerts I've been to, and God knows I've been to a lot, this Tampa performance ranks as number 1 by a mile. The boys have simply not lost a step and are sounding better than ever.

  • Rush Marathon Sizzles

by Busher on 2010-09-04NY State Fair - SyracuseRating: 4 out of 5

Thursday's putrid humidity could not deter me from enjoying my 10th. exhibition of pure greatness by The Holy Trinity. Rush never fails to deliver. The musicianship and showmanship have not wavered as they belted out 3 hours of solid magic. 'Leave That Thing Alone' and 'BU2B' rocked the house and 'Free Will' sent shivers down my spine. After the break... 'Moving Pictures' in it's entirety left me giddy. 'Witch Hunt' was haunting and 'Camera Eye' was both visually and musically awesome. After the crowd bowed and howled with gratitude, it kept coming. "Caravan' sounded as heavy and tight as 1977 Rush and nothing says Rush like ' La Villa Strangiato' and 'Working Man'... to send the crowd home still vibrating. SUPERB! The venue was extremely well organized and except for far too many obstructed/partially obstructed seats, the views were good and so was the sound.

  • Tight with Great Sound

by LRider on 2010-09-04NY State Fair - SyracuseRating: 4 out of 5

Alex Lifeson has really come alive this tour. He is fit, energetic, and playing better than ever, a career year. Also enjoying himself. Geddy's bass lines were funky as ever, and he and Alex played off each other nicely. Neil looked a bit tired, I had heard he might have an ear problem as he stopped wearing his in ear monitors. Of course he was fun to watch but maybe a little off his usual impeccable game. He seemed to rely on a bit more echo/delay during his solo than usual. Overall another top flight RUSH performance.

  • Rush was awesome

This was my 39th time seeing the boy's all I can say is they get better with age, from start to finish everybody was standing. Totally awesome ROCK ON boy's from TO.

  • RUSH was awesome - fans could have been better

by AgingCdnRocker on 2010-08-31Minnesota State Fair Grandstand - St PaulRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was fabulous! The only thing that spoiled it for some us us were the people who chose to smoke in the stands. In Canada, we strongly enforce the anti smoking by-laws. We weren't so fortunate in St.Paul. The concert lasted for about 3 hours, with a 20 minute intermission. The band was in top form. I only with they had played Fly By Night.

  • Rush Time Machine Tour 2010 RAWKS Columbus!!

by Mistyboo on 2010-08-31Nationwide Arena - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

I knew this would be another critical success, as Rush never fails to satisfy their fans, and give them their money's worth. Once again, thoughtful, imaginative video work, combined with a well-orchestrated mix of fabulous new lighting, camerawork, pristine sound, and the raw, unleashed power of the world's greatest Power Trio, made for a memorable night.

One of the BEST Concerts I have seen! Rush truely is timeless!

  • Rush was Timeless!

by Yotes27 on 2010-08-29Minnesota State Fair Grandstand - St PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing concert covering the entire span of their long careers. Geddy was a monster on the bass, Alex a true virtuoso on the guitar and Neil is by far the best drummer on the planet today. The intro videos to the first and second sets were hilarious and the the added treat of Paul Rudd and Jason Segel reprising thier roles from I Love You Man was a great way to cap off the concert.

  • by Anonymous on 2010-08-28Minnesota State Fair Grandstand - St PaulRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was surreal. From Rush playing a 25 song super setlist to the light show to Neil Pearts' epic drum solo to the firework show at the end. This was an unforgettable experience. If I have the change to see them again, I would in a heartbeat.

  • incredible

by Kajakaja on 2010-08-24Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

A+ show, amazing graphics and guitaring! Amazing live!

  • One of their best concerts ever!

by Rogdodg on 2010-08-21MGM Grand Hotel - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Arguably their best concert set ever, it was just lacking the Trees and Driven in my opinion. The comic interludes were also a great touch. It was also great to take my son to his first Rush concert. Had to fly from Canada to do so! (bring the tour to Western Canada please!)

  • There is no other experience- Rush at Red Rocks

by Alohacanuck on 2010-08-20Red Rocks Amphitheatre - MorrisonRating: 5 out of 5

Simply...There is no other experience than RUSH at Red Rocks. What a band, what a venue. Went both nights August 16th and August 18th. Alex, Geddy, Neil your are defenetly the sound track of my life.

  • Rush delivers again!

    by Islandgirl58 on 2010-08-19White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was absolutely amazing. This incredible trio did not disappoint. From the moment the first chord of Spirit of Radio resonated through the ampitheatre, the crowd was on their feet sharing in the energy of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart. You have to see this band perform live!

  • How long can they keep this up?!?

by Totofan on 2010-08-18MGM Grand Hotel - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

You have to see this band as long as they are still touring. Their music is so complex and energetic I have a hard time believing they'll be able to play their own music in another decade or so...very, VERY few musicians could ever pull this stuff off! The band is clearly enjoying a resurgence in popularity and it was evident in the sold-out show I enjoyed at the MGM Grand. Lee, Lifeson and Peart were, of course, in top form and have now injected a lot of humor into their 3 hour performance as well. Not much to add to previous reviews but they truly are an amazing band in concert and any true rock fan would enjoy the show immensely.

  • Rush was amazing

by matteric on 2010-08-16MGM Grand Hotel - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely unbielevable show. Once again Rush proved why they are the premier rock band in the world today. Amazing show, incredible musicianship and being Canadian i was truly impressed with the audience in Las Vegas. Somewhat surprised of how popular Rush was in Las Vegas. A memorable night.

The show was amazing as expected. Moving Pictures rocks!
