About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

  • Better than ever!

by ModernDayWarrior on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Rush at the ACC was amazing! The time machine stage and projections were fantastic and Neil's new kit was over the top! I've never heard the boys sounding better and they looked like they were having a great time.

  • RUSH STILL AMAZINGLY GREAT!!!

  • Time Machine proves Rush's Music Ageless

by ZepperFan on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I took my 16 year old son to his first real concert, the Rush Time Machine Show and he is still stoked. An incredible, timeless and ageless band, Getty's voice all still there, Alex still wailing away on guitar and Neil Peart ..... the finest technical drummer on the planet. If you are a drummer, the man blows your mind everytime you see him. Moving Pictures start to finish live was a real treat, proves these boys are not just studio musicians, they are the real deal ......... and they're CANADIAN and damn proud of it !!! Thanks guys, see you again soon !!!

  • RUSH BRINGS IT HOME AGAIN!

by Trap on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My wife's NOT a Rush fan - this was her 1st concert, and she would go again! What else is left to say!?! The lighting was great - the band sounded like they should - just like the albums - they don't try to change the songs & make them different - they know - the people come to hear the songs they know & love, and so that's what they give the fans! Biggest disappointment: Ordered the VIP tix - concert shirt was NOT delivered before the concert, despite the fact that we had ordered weeks ago! Ergo, we did not purchase a concert shirt at the venue as we did not know what shirt was coming.

Excellent show! Moving Pictures live in its entirety was amazing. These guys still got their chops after all these years!

  • Rush was LOUD

by Wyldchyld on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Went to see Rush at the ACC in Toronto Saturday night. It was an amazing 3 hours of them playing their best songs at full volume. It took 2 days for my ears to stop ringing. Watching and listening to them do the full Moving Pictures album was intense. The two little skits were funny and helped getting the hype up for them to play. The only mistake I seemed to notice as the beginning of Limelight as the timing was off but got quickly corrected. All in all, an excellent show.

Amesome Show, great atmosphere. The holy trinity is as solid as ever.

  • Amazing....as usual

by SudburyGuy on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I have seen this band about 20 times now and this was the best show yet. My seat allowed me to watch the performers better than the effects show and that was my good luck as I was blown away by the musicianship. I even enjoyed the minor technical glitch before and into Limelight as I was able to watch the professionalism of Alex Lifeson who was clearly annoyed but still able to make the best of it.

  • Rush was awesome again!

by cdefran on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Rush played a combination of old and new songs and provided an entertaining and unforgettable experience!

  • WOW`

by Jackhammer on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

If you've never seen Rush, be prepared, what a show. If you've seen Rush, what a show! I have seen Rush 6 times and they have always delivered. The show this past Saturday night 17/07/2010 was Rush at their very best. They are so at the top of their game! An absolutely incredible performance musically of course and only enhanced but the well done video back drop, the fireworks, light show... and flames??? wow!!! Just prepare to be amazed.

  • Rush to see RUSH!

    by Monkee67 on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing Rush live and I was blown away! All three were in their element and at thier perfection. Geddy's voice is the same as he sounded on an album 35 years back. The show had one break for about 10-15 mins aside from that Rush played for three hours. All your favorite songs and some new ones from their upcoming album. a lot of video surprises and a lighting show you've never seen the likes off. AMAZING! see it!

  • RUSH Was AMAZING!!!

    by Nat0330 on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I loved every minute of the show. From the joking videos, to the special effects-smoke machines, pyros and fireworks. The backdrops were amazing and the lighting. Of course, that all paled in comparison to the wicked playing styles of Alex Lifeson, Neil Peart's fantastic drum solo and the one and only Vocals of Geddy Lee with whaling on the Bass!!!

  • RUSH was amazing

by waterlily on 2010-07-19Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I greatly enjoyed the Rush concert from the begining to the end. They are one of the best bands to come out of Canada.

  • Rush Time Machine Tour

by Bookmom on 2010-07-18Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What a fabulous show! The boys never disappoint! Loved the video clips - not many groups make fun of themselves so thoroughly and with such pizzaz! Enjoyed especially hearing the whole Moving Pictures album. Saw that tour in '81and it was just a good all these years later! As I love all the older albums more, I wished they could have included more older songs, tho' Caravan and some of the newer ones are starting to grow on me.

  • Rush was amazing!

by PebblesCam on 2010-07-18Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What an amazing concert! I bought tickets for my husband but really wanted to see a them live at least once. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert and loved the fact that there was no opening band.

  • RUSH

amazing show, the band was incredible as usual. Great sound and lightings

  • What a Rush

by sparklygirl on 2010-07-18Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I haven't seen this band in 25+ years and they're still great. A band that just plays amazing rock music as well as meaningful lyrics. At times, I felt transported back to teenaged years when some of these classics were first getting air play. A wonderful evening. The pyrotechnics were cool, and the event long story through video and on stage props were different from other acts we've seen recently. Two thumbs up.
