About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

  • Rush concert for flood relief

by Anonymous on 2013-08-09Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first opportunity to see Rush live and I was blown away. Their play list was fantastic, a great mix of old favourites and current material - I immediately bought their newest album after hearing so much of it live! The string ensemble added in the second half was a very pleasant surprise. Geddy's minimal banter and the band's obvious joy to be playing made this seem very intimate and special (the smaller arena meant that all seats were good and close). I am proud to say that I've seen Rush live, and I highly recommend this experience to all ages (I am 60 but was impressed by the enthusiasm of so many younger fans). And to hear that the concert raised a half million dollars for flood relief makes me even prouder to be Canadian!

Outstanding concert.... the best performance ever! This will forever be a great memory and so happy that we saw the old band in our lifetime! The guys still got it... truly amazing! We will forever be fans!!

  • Was o.k nothing super special

by Jenifer on 2013-08-05Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was o.k not what I have expected. I was expecting to hear more of their old songs.

  • Awesome Rush!

by cafisherguy on 2013-08-03Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

Another great concert by Rush, with a great mix of latest album songs and many from the past. Almost 2:45 hr of songs played tirelessly as always by the guys. Thanks to Rush for the benefit concert in aid of the Alberta floods, we appreciate it. The fans in attendance and the Centrium staff in Red Deer were great.

Absolute rock show- real musicians playing for hours. Perfect balance of new and homage to old. Visually amazing

  • Rush did not disappoint !

by Sheilasvegas on 2013-08-01Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

New CD sounds great but really enjoyed the old time classics. No "Working Man" but at least "Tom Sawyer" was played. Loved the stage theatrics as well as the unexpected fireworks and flame towers. Neil Pert's drum kit set up was amazing as usual - his drum solo the high point of the show for me. Getty Lee still getting it done with his vocals still powerful even if his range is less.

  • RUSH ! BRILLIANT ~ AS ALWAYS!!!

    by drumrzgirl1 on 2013-07-31Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely flawless. Inspiring to see such a mixed crowd, those of us who have loved RUSH through the 70's to date - especially all the young crowd of aspiring musicians and those with superior taste in music. A thrill to see them again.!!!

  • What a Rush!

by Kmeraw on 2013-07-31Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

Rush was fabulous- they played 2 1/2 hours solid. They are so talented- probably the tightest bunch of musicians I have ever seen. Thanks for coming to Red Deer!

  • Best RUSH yet!!

by Gunnershield on 2013-07-31Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to a few Rush concerts now and this was by far the best of the best. They played my favorite album (Power Windows) and started with Subdivisions, one of my fav. songs. The show was fantastic and the Clockwork Angels Ensemble enhanced the songs. Anarchist and Headlong Flight were absolutely amazing. I am already looking forward to the next concert.

  • Over the Top!

by SuperAwesome on 2013-07-31Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

With the upset from the flooding at the Saddledome and having this show moved to Red Deer, we were going to bail on the show. But we just had to see them so we made the trip and it was phenominal! I would have regretted it completely if we hadn't gone. RUSH are a total class act and put on a great show. You have to see them at least once, if not more. I'll be seeing them again for sure!

  • Classic RUSH

by laseroe on 2013-07-31Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Rush can still rock the crowd. Everybody stood for over half the concert. Geddy Lee still has that powerful high voice. He's bang on with the synth and still rips that guitar. Alex Lifeson has stepped up his guitar playing a notch or two. Awesome. What can I say about Neal Peart! The most amazing drum kit I have ever seen and does he wail on 'em. Two drum solos with riffs and special effects that blew me away. Great concert. And these Canadians are turning 60 this year (Neal last Sept.) They can be proud.

  • Rush at top of their game

    by Drummerdude2112 on 2013-07-30Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Rush just seems to get better with age, they are amazing musicians, playing their respective instruments at a skill level seldom seen these days. This concert was so much fun, barely scratching the surface of Rush's massive archive of songs. Great to see entire families enjoying this event, it was truly awesome! Go see them before this tour wraps up, you just never know when Rush might be back in town.

  • the new is good!!

by pandas on 2013-07-29Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

another mind blowing show I was surprised to find i loved the new songs they performed. they brought out a six piece string band for half the show and they rocked it. So cool to see these guys still experimenting and growing

  • Rush was a total rush in Vancouver!

    by cdn3034 on 2013-07-29Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Solid performance throughout with a good balance from their vast repertoire of old & new tunes. Geddy Lee doesn't quite have the range he once had but I think I like the tone of his voice better now. Good concert overall but I wish they would have played Limelight.

  • What a Rush!

by Bugguy on 2013-07-29Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

I last saw Rush in 1997 (my 3rd time) so I was a little skeptical about what kind of show I would see. It was not really a surprise when I found myself totally engulfed in the music during the opening half hour.Yeah Geddy may have lost a little bit of his range in vocals but he still sounded the same & hasn't lost any of his passion for the songs. The middle of he concert was mostly Clockwork Angels material I was not familiar with but it was solid Rush material. The last 45 min. or so was classic. If you are now or ever was a Rush fan don't miss this tour, you won't be sorry.

  • who knew they'd still be this great!?!

  • Rush was amazing

    by SusanAlanna2112 on 2013-07-29Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

the light show, the vignettes and accompanying musicians were amazing, i cant say enough. the sound in rogers arena was excellent. those three musicians have exemplary talent. they made it look so effortless. I was not expecting the show to be so incredible. we pretty much sat through the whole thing with our jaws dropped open.
