About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

As usual the 3 members of RUSH put on an amazing concert.

  • Awesome!

    by Sprinkles212 on 2013-07-28Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 4 out of 5

Wasn't sure how much of a Rush fan I was, but I really enjoyed the concert, loved their energy and the music, especially their more older, popular songs. Rock on!

It was a good concert, in a small venue. I wish they sang more songs.

Everything was awesome about this except leaving the parking lot. Took forever.

  • Amazing and all for Flood relief!

    by RushFan44 on 2013-07-28Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

Rush are the best band in the world. THeir live show is the best I have ever seen. They are true patriots and I want to send my thanks for their help in Alberta's time of need. When many other bands cancelled their shows and passed us by, RUSH turned it into an opportunity to help their fellow Canadians. Pure class, pure professionalism and the best show ever.

  • RUSH is still awesome!!!

I hadn't seen RUSH since the Presto tour. They totally delivered a great show.

The concert was awesome. the only downside that I could say was the show did not start on time and seeing as the event was moved due to the flood it made or drive much longer to get home.

They sound great live! Amazing that 3 guys have so much talent!

  • Fantastic - of course!

by Totofan on 2013-07-28Rogers Arena - Vancouver, BCRating: 5 out of 5

Yet another superb performance by the band, 3 awesome hours of great music as always. The only complaints I heard was the setlist focused too much on the new material. Since they are still producing new albums, it makes sense to not simply do a 'Greatest Hits' package, unlike other bands that have been around for several decades. At any rate, it was great to see the show was almost sold-out, and the band shouldn't be taken for granted since one of these days, they WILL have to call it a day, so certainly make the effort to see then NOW!

  • If I was my husband...

    by Mabel8jtf on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 4 out of 5

My husband would recommend to see RUSH!!! He got these tickets as a 40-yr Anniversary present & dragged me along. Wasn't too impressed it was an hour late, but he was totally thrilled & the visual effects were awesome. HD doesn't show them aging very well!! The pyrotechnics were really impressive! He tells everyone that they were awesome whenever someone comments on his t-shirt!! I'm so glad he enjoyed himself and couldn't have picked a better anniversary present for him!! ROCK ON!!!!

  • RUSH was absolutely Amazing!!

by TAWH on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

The musicians are masters of their crafts! Each of them floored us in their solos and as a group it is a tremendous sound! Wish we could have seen the whole show, but what we did see was worth every moment and every penny! I look forward to seeing them and experiencing their energy again in the future.

  • Cut Short

by Robnoot on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 4 out of 5

Show was late starting by about an hour. That, in itself, was acceptable. However, despite promising something "extra special" for the fans to compensate for the late start, Rush shortened their set. Not by a lot, but it was noticeable to fans who attended more than one show on the tour. In particular, I was disappointed that an amazing 12-string guitar solo was cut.

  • RUSH was the greatest show I've seen!!!

    by Sapper33 on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

Rush was absolutely amazing! They started an hour late but man did they ever make it an unforgettable night! They played an incredible and long set, so worth every penny and so worth the travel time! I cannot wait until the next concert!

  • Musically precise and a visual spectacle!

by ConcernedHobbit on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 4 out of 5

Rush is definitely a concert you must experience! These guys have been touring and creating music for over 40 years and still can nail songs even all-star artists couldn't do. With a stunning stage crew combined with the musically perfection of the 'Power Trio', Rush is undeniably the best rock concert you will ever witness. Though I do recommend you do some homework before you seen Rush perform, this will help you enjoy the show even more! This is the Clockwork Angels Tour and you should probably listen and read the lyrics to this album, and do the same for many of their songs from all eras! This will familiarize you with their songs/performance. This was my 5th Rush concert and I will see them many times again!

  • Rush was amazing!

by kingfakir on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

Always a great show and they keep getting better. If you've never seen them before , do so ! Well worth the price of admission and this show , which was a fund raiser for the flood relief was even more special.

  • Rush was amazing!!

by TomBone on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

All three band members are incredible artists. Their skills are amoungst the best in the world. The clockwork angel string group were a really nice addition. The light show was fantastic; always something interesting and artistic to set the mood.

  • Rush In Red Deer

by Barty on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

2nd best concert I have ever been too. Sound was fantastic. All concerts should be in Red Deer

  • Rush rocked Red Deer

by carritthead on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

My first time to see Rush was an unforgettable experience for this life long fan. They rocked for almost 4 hours, played a lot of Clockwork Angels, (which I loved!!!) and hit the highlights of their extensive catalogue. Only minor complaint would be the acoustics in the Centrium were not up to standards of other arenas I have seen shows in, but the atmosphere of the Red Deer crowd easily made up for that minor drawback. Proud to be a small part of the flood relief, and eternally grateful to have seen Rush finally after all these years. Thanks Geddy, Alex and Neil!

  • RUSH ROCKED RED DEER

by djshawzee on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

after overcoming some nasty pre-show technical issues these guys nailed an amazing performance. Every time they hit the stage they get better and better.

  • RUSH great show

by drawde on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 4 out of 5

RUSH put on a great show once they got underway. The sound was incredible but the mounting of the speakers from the ceiling blocked much of the screen behind which was a large part of the show. That was a bit disappointing along with having to wait an extra hour for the show to start which made a late finish. The band played great as they always do.
