About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

These 3 guys still have it! no doubt, was an awesome show and display of their talents,,,, too bad it took over an hour late to start concert, but once they were on it was 3 hours of great music!!!!!

rush is still rocking like they did when they were in their 20's. awesome show, would go again

  • Rush in Red Deer is the best concert I have seen!!

by Tridrivin on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

RUSH was the best concert event to ever play Red Deer and the fact that all proceeds went to flood relief makes it even greater! The setting was more intament than any venue I have seen a world class band play and there wasn't a bad seat anywhere. From the first strum of the guitar to the last beat of the drum 3 hours later the concert was fantastic! Thanks to Geddy Lee and the guys for putting on this awesome event!

  • Rush clockwork angek

by NelMel on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 4 out of 5

A late start due to technical difficulties and the sound quality was poor and kind of muffled so I'm wondering if that was the difficulty. All in all though, the first time I saw them and I would go again in a heart beat. Drum solos to die for...bass and guitar legendary and if course that one of a kind voice. Pretty energetic performance and stage presence.

  • Rush was an amazing performance

Rush played For three hours. And all the proceeds went to red cross flood relief. That was an amazing gesture. Awesome show.

  • Rush for Red Cross

by Anonymous on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

Another 3 hours of awesome sound, can never go wrong with Geddy, Alex and Neil! And all for Red Cross to help their South Alberta neighbours with flood relief, these guys are awesome musicians and Canadians! Thanks so much Rush!

  • Rush rules!!!!

by beepbeep on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

Rush is not a pop music band. They write music that is honest, and original that is not intended to simply make money. This is kind of rare these days. I know that I'm in the presence of intelligent fans when I see a Rush show. Rush is also not an image band and are always trying to improve their music and shows, which is why the concerts keep improving. This attitude and the obvious dedication they have to please us fans makes them the coolest artists on the planet.

  • Rush was mind blowing!

by lorra on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Rush at Enmax Centrium (previously we had tickets at the Saddledome in Calgary) We had seats 3rd row on the floor! The entire concert was absolutely incredible!!!!!!!!!!!! They performed for 3 hours and we were amazed as was everybody else around us. Thank you Rush for coming to our city!!!!!!!

  • Rush was Excellent

by calmas on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

The Rush concert was great even though it started an hour late. They played for almost 3 hrs. Their stage show is incredible. They have screens that go down and a display on the back that changes with each song. At the bottom of the stage there is a camera that goes back and forth at the front of the stage. The drummer had a set of drums and cymbals that turned around in a circle. I really enjoyed the music. This was the first time I had seen Rush and recommend that if anyone has a chance to see them at least once.

  • Unbelievable!!!

by Purpleplace on 2013-07-27Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

Have not been to a concert in a long time. Rush was absolutely incredible. Not only was the music awesome but the show was too! So happy they found another venue with the flooding of the Saddledome. Well worth the extra travel time.

Once again Rush proved they are the greatest rock band on the planet. Their musicianship is at the top of their class. Stage presence and show was outstanding. I would recommend everyone to see at least one Rush concert in their lives just to experience a true live show. Bravo Rush Bravo.

  • Rush Rocks!!!

Hearing Rush live feels like I am in the studio with them when they are doing their final album mix.

  • Rush - Excellent as always!

by Cshell on 2013-07-16Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fabulous; interesting stage decor, phenomenal light show, 3 drum solos by Neil (amazing) and a most appreciated encore/ending with the 2112 Overture! Wish they were playing again the next night, I would have gone to it as well!!!

  • Rush

by TraceynJohn on 2013-07-15Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 2 out of 5

The band is amazing and we were counting down the days. They looked great on the stage at Copp's in Hamilton but the sound was horrible. For older songs we knew what he was supposed to be saying so we could figure it out but the new songs, not a clue. It was like the teacher from peanut's was up there. I don't know if it was the venue or their sound but why spend almost 200/ticket and not understand what they are singing.

  • One Explosive RUSH!

by YourLocalPoet on 2013-07-12Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

I was slightly skeptical about seeing Rush at an indoor venue, having only previously seen them outdoors. But, between the fireworks and the 7 piece string orchestra they had for the second half of the concert, it was absolutely amazing. Even during their ballads the intensity was palpable. The tickets are somewhat expensive, even considering what the economy has done for the industry, but with a band like Rush, it should be considered a necessary expense for any fan. Definitely worthwhile!

  • Rush..

by Anonymous on 2013-07-12Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 1 out of 5

Very disappointed. They didn't play Closer to the Heart (which was one of the fan favourites) and lots of there new stuff .. which I have never heard. These boys are getting on in age and cant seem to sing as well .... Last Rush concert I will ever attend.

  • Rush experienced by my whole family

by Mudshshshark on 2013-07-11Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

I noticed a lot of people had brought their families as I did, My youngest loved it (11) even tho it wasn't his kind of music. He can thank me later :p . Crowd was typical laid back Canadian concert goers but they were all true Rush lovers and had been for many years. The sound was kind of muddled but that is to be expected in an arena .The visuals were great and rival that of any psychedelic band ever even PinkFloyd . The use of 10 floating 80 inch screens complemented the main screen in an amazing way making the concert cinematics feel much bigger A++ 10/10 great show guys!!

  • Rush...Clockwork Angels
