Blown Away. Absolutely unreal concert, played just about everything you could imagine and put on an excellent performance.

Rating: 5 out of 5 SAXON was worth the wait!!!
by Marktheshark on 2011-10-13The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoHaving been 23 years since they last played Toronto, Saxon's show at the Phoenix Concert Theatre was nothing short of amazing! 2 hours of high energy classic metal the way it was meant to be. Great setlist with all the classics and a good portion of new material to promote the bands fantastic new CD Call to Arms. Lets hope they don't wait another 23 years to come back!
Rating: 4 out of 5 Saxon at the Phoenix
by pinballs on 2011-10-13The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoBeen waiting years for this band to come back to Canada. It sounded great. These guys are a class act. All the older songs sounded so much heavier. Just a great show. Cant wait for them to come back.
Rating: 5 out of 5 N.W.O.B.H.M. Thirty-Odd Years Later
by 1rockroll on 2011-10-13The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoThe Phoenix was the perfect venue for an evening of straight ahead rock and roll.Saxon were as tight as a drum and the sound was great. All the hits were played and the crowd sang along to many of the tunes.New material was received with as much enthusiasm as the old and a 40 minute encore was the icing on the cake.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Saxon; Awesome Metal ~ Legends ! <:
by Meljpetra on 2011-10-13The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoWas Gr8 Seeing Saxon Play Toronto Again; Been over 20 Yrs. Since... Awesome Metal by these UK Legends; Lotta Energy, Power, & Speed ! Opening Band Borealis from Orangeville were quite Good Too ! <:
Rating: 5 out of 5 Call To Arms
by TheMeister on 2011-10-13The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoThis was the first time I have seen Saxon and they did not disappoint! They played a good mix of the new album (Call To Arms) and their classics like Denim & Leather, Crusader, 747 (Strangers In The Night) and more. They sounded great and The Phoenix was a great place to see them in a more intimate setting than a stadium show. Borealis was the opening act.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Saxon the greatest!
by Liolitheone on 2011-10-13The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoAwesome performance, great quality of sound and lighting. First time seeing Saxon, listened to them many years ago, and finally a chance to see them live! So thankful they came to Toronto, and played for 2 hours, pure delight for my ears (and eyes of course)! Setlist wouldn't matter for me. Thanks guys!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Saxon ROCKED!!!
by Wally85 on 2011-10-13The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoEverybody who missed Saxon @ The Phoenix on Tuesday night missed one of the best rock shows to pass thru Toronto this year. I wish they were going to be on the bill with Judas Priest in November @ the ACC.
