  • Another great Sheryl Crow gig

    by Bowie1966 on 2017-07-18Casino Rama Resort - RamaRating: 4 out of 5

Sheryl Crow warmed the crowd up with several older tunes. Her new album is strong, so new numbers were well received as well. As always, she has a great band. A great evening.

  • Crow and band rock Rama

by Whinersmusic on 2017-07-18Casino Rama Resort - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Sheryl Crow a total of 14 times and this was her best band for sure. The summer tour has them playing especially tight and the two guitar attack of Peter Stroud and Audley Freed are a great 1(a)/1(b) combo. Plus, a shout out to bass/guitar Robert Kearns as well - the absolute highlight was the closer: "I Shall Believe" due to his (Robert) stellar back up vocal/harmony (took that song to a whole new level). Phew ... great set list kicking off with "Every Day is a Winding Road" and, boy, she just smoked hit after hit from there. All the new material fit in very well as "classic" Crow sound. I especially enjoyed "Roller Skate" and think it should have been the lead single off the new album as a "song for summer". But all good regardless. I find the sound at Casino Rama could be better and, the times I've seen Crow there, it's always been a bit muddy. None-the-less this is a great tour to see her if you haven't yet! We didn't get to see Lukas Nelson & the Promise of the Real - who are on tour with her at this show - as she doesn't have an opening act at the Rama shows. They too are great and, if you get to see them both, that's going to take it over the top.

  • Sheryl & her band a must see!

by LittleBee on 2017-07-18Casino Rama Resort - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

Sheryl is an amazing singer, songwriter and musician. We loved the concert. Her band is so talented. The music was very soulful, and I found that their popular songs that didn't sound exactly as played originally was very refreshing. My only negative comment would be that at Casino Rama, they didn't have the right mix on sound. The music was far louder than the vocals and it was really hard to hear Sheryl singing sometimes over the music. The sound guy should have corrected that after the 1st couple of songs. We had seats in the 13 row on the floor, and my friend had seats in the nose bleed section & she made the same comment.

  • Sheryl Crow is a fantastic singer

I was disappointed with the show. I thought it was boring. She didn't interact with her audience. She sang great. I felt she could have done better to make her show more exciting.

Good concert, but we found the band was overwhelming and it was difficult to hear the lyrics, otherwise very good, good selection of old and new songs Also really enjoyed the venue.

  • Awesome

Sheryl Crow was awesome, energetic and more importantly very appreciative of her audience, when the concert ended the crowd wanted more. Sheryl and her band came back to do 3 more numbers.

  • Good Show

Overall a good show. The sound could have been better. The instruments were louder than the vocals on most songs. The big screen made it easy for everyone to see.

Sheryl Crow never fails to deliver. Seeing her in a smaller venue was great!

  • Sit back, stand up and enjoy

by Phable on 2010-09-28Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Firstly the opening act was really good, as I never heard them before and they were tight with great vocals from Brandi. Sheryl has always been on my favorite list and no disappointments for my first live show. Her new music is as good as her classics. My only dissapointment was my hope of Kidd rock dropping by to do Picture :-)

  • Sheryl in top shape

by LeGrand on 2010-09-27Cumberland County Civic Center - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

Sheryl did a very good performance. 11 person on stage, that sure makes a lot of music. Her voice was terrific, sound was very good also from where we sat. It was just one of those perfect moments.

Band was everything you'd want...but i was impressed by the tributes to Sly Stone, James Brown, Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson.

  • Sheryl Crow in top form!

by nanjan on 2010-08-16Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

Sheryl Crow's performance at Casino Rama on Wed, Aug 11th was a fun, lively and purely fantastic introduction to her latest album "100 miles from Memphis." From start to finish, Sheryl engaged the audience with her enthusiastic performances of songs from her new album and many favourites from her stellar catalogue of music through the years. The new music is her best in years, and her new band "The Thieves" rocked out beautifully. One complaint at this venue on this occasion the sound mixing could have been better. As great a band as The Thieves are, they frequently over-powered Sheryl's vocals volume-wise which was unfortunate to anyone unfamiliar with song lyrics. That said, Sheryl Crow's voice was in top form, which was clearly evident in the slower, quieter numbers, and the performance level was high energy throughout the concert. Such a great time. If you know and like even one Sheryl Crow song, you should check out this concert. She'll most definitely have you out shopping for the new cd, if not a few earlier discs as well.

  • Sheryl Crow and Colbie Caillait amazing!!!

by Silver52 on 2010-08-14Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 4 out of 5

Everything about the event was great. We travelled a great distance to see this show....all the way from Nova Scotia Canada. My only negative comment, and this really really effected the enitre evening. ... It was SO frustrating that people were not in their seats by show time. My view of the stage was continually blocked, for the whole show, either by people stopping to chat, or to look for their seats. I had to stand to see and was very aggressively told by another audience member to sit down. The RMAC empl also are in the way when they stand facing the audience in the aisles, helping people figure out where their seats were. All in all that whole issue almost ruined the evening. I was sitting in the third row of the upper bowl I guess you could call it, so there was a lot of walk by traffic, which impeded our ability to take pictures of the stage...plus the people who were sitting in the lower bowl, who paused along the way totally blocked our view of the stage. Okay, enought said!!

  • Sheryl Crowe's band was TOO loud!!

by DianePam on 2010-08-12Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 2 out of 5

What a shame to pay $100 and drive for four hours only to find out that you were going to be blasted out of your seat and have to step out early of a show you were looking forward to. This band was far too loud for most people - you could not decipher the vocals at all. No one really cares about listening to lead guitarists except lead guitarists. And this one was nothing to listen to. This is the second and the last time I will attend a Sheryl Crowe concert - she was too loud a few years back when she was in Toronto backing up Sting. Sad to say but very very poor.

  • sheryl crow

by nikkile on 2010-08-12Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

first of all, sheryl looked fantastic. the band was great, and sheryl sang her ass off. so, to be honest, she was fantastic! i had a great time. great entertainer. she plays guitar, piano, sings AND writes her own songs. their aren't too many who do that anymore. i give her five stars. and would recommend seeing her.

  • Sheryl's Crow was great - crowd, not so much

by JulieJ on 2010-08-12Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 4 out of 5

I drove 2 hours to see the show... the casino was jammed, restaurants packed with people. But when we finally we able to sit down and watch the show, it was nice. Sheryl Crow's voice was breath taking. I felt the show got off to a slow start, but really picked up near the end. Best part - the triple encore. Fabulous!

  • by weinerlee on 2010-08-12Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 1 out of 5

This was the worst show we've seen at Casino Rama. The sound was just awful. People started leaving even before the first song was finished. It wasn't music it was noise!.
