For 20 years, multi-platinum rock band Shinedown have dominated the charts with their melodic hard rock sound. Shinedown have the most No. 1 hits (18) in the more than 40-year history of Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart, including the singles “Daylight,” “Planet Zero” and “Atlas Falls.” Their third album, 2008’s The Sound of Madness, spawned four No. 1 singles on the Mainstream Rock chart and spent 120 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart, with the crossover hit “Second Chance” landing in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wasn't a big fan of the openers but shinedown was incredible, they sounded just as great live as the do on their cd. They put on a really good show would definitely see them again they rocked.
The venue was amazing, it was easy to find, the sound was great. I would go see Shinedown, and any other band that goes there.
First time seeing Shinedown and first time at Kool Haus....Shinedown rocked the Haus!!! Had an excellent time and was awesome to see this up and coming band! Would definitely go see them again (and would definitely go back to Kool Haus again). It was over a 2 hour drive for me, each way, to go to this show....but it was well worth the drive!
If you ever get the chance to see Shinedown live.... GO!! Amazing show and great interaction with the audience. This was my first time seeing Shinedown, I have been a fan for a while. I will definitely see them again!
The show was fantastic. Brent Smith was awesome. His voice was unbelievable and his stage presence was captivating. Second time seeing the band, but last time was at the ACC when then opened for Nickelback. Kool Haus was a great venue!
Brent Smith is the best male vocalist in rock and Shinedown is the most underrated team in rock music.
Shinedown and Adelitas Way were great, but Art of Dying Rocked! They were awesome and should be headlining their own shows. I wish their setlist had been longer, can't wait to see them again!
Waited 4ever to see them and would give anything to see them again....
WOW!!! The word WICKED comes to mind ... KILLER, AWESOME and throw in a little HOLY AMAZING. LOVE the Rapids ...great venue up close and personal that is indeed my favourite!!!. Art of Dying opened up the show with some serious attitude - they rocked our faces off. Adelitas Way was SUPER impressive - chatting with Keith after the show was great as well. THEN we have SHINEDOWN wow, the volume change for that show was INCREDIBLE. The set was perfect, Brent was perfect ....as were the rest of the boys. TRULY AMAZING A MUST SEE!!!!!!!!!
Shinedown at the Rapids theatre in Niagara Falls, NY was a great rock show!! Sound was excellent and Brett's voice was bang on. The venue was packed, but the crowd was enjoying the show, so all was good. Highly recommend this band to anyone with "good taste".
What can you say? The boys have got it together. There aren't many bands these days that pull off the energy these guys do. they actually enjoy playing together and it shows in the performance. Brent's voice is the best in rock today! It was especially nice to hear the thought process behind the writing of the songs and the audience interaction was great. Overall, best show I have seen in years... and I see a lot of shows.
Amazing pure voice...best musical concert/experience yet...unreal sums it up
Two thumbs up! Show was really amazing. Awesome.. Great.. had a good time.
We saw the Carnival of Madness tour at DTE music theatre in Detroit this past weekend and it was fantastic. All the bands were great but Shindedown was amazing. Brent Smith's vocals were impecable and the band was outstanding. They put on such a great show that this is the 2nd time I have seen them this year. I can hardly wait to see them again.
This truely was an event instead of just a concert. All the bands were amazing.....but Shinedown was unforgettable!!!
awesome its just too bad that they opened and had to keep it "down" i'm sure so that they didn't out do the headliners its amazing how many people were there that didnt have a clue who any of the openers were and yet they all put on a way better show than the main act and din't recieve near the appreciation that they all deserve a little dissapointed that they didn't play some songs but im sure they couldnt id go again n e day
I seen at least 60 shows in my life time and with out a doubt shinedown is at the top of that list.they were simply unforgetable. The best vocals i have ever heard and the band was so tight better then studio.I highly recommend any one who has not seen there show to go check them out you will not be disapointed.Puddle of mud was with them and they were good, skillet also played they opened the show they were good as well.
Drove to Vancouver from Kelowna to catch the show, and Shindown definaltey did not disappoint, and was WELL worth the drive. hada shinedown power hour on the way...all shinedown all the time....and got primed for this show. Got a little philipsoical/deep halfway through which was a little odd....BUT That dudes vocals WAIL, and the whole concert was awesome and made up for it..hahaha
I had an awesome time at the Shinedown concert. The whole night was well worth the wait in the line that seemed to go forever. I thought it was great how involved they got the crowd. Cant wait so seem them again, and hopefully in another awesome venue like Mac Hall.!!!
