The whole performance was great. I myself enjoyed whole show. Our daughter loved the elephant and horses, son was thrilled by the motor bikes, ladies on the high swings. My wife wanted to take the black panther and tiger home, also white horses on parade. Great job Shriners keep up the good work.
I took my two daughters and three grand daughters and they all had a great time. Said it was the best night. The elephant ride was a hit but wish we would have known about the elephant rides before we went because we didn't arrive early enough to have a ride before the circus and had to wait an hour and half at the end for their turn. Made for a late night as we live out of town but glad we stayed. All in all, a great a time!!
Okay for circus acts, some amateur mistakes but overall the kids liked it. It ran a bit late and long for the kids. The concessions were over the top expensive.
we had a wonderful evening. The clowns ( Piolita and the kids) are really expressive we just love them. the chinese acrobats are excellent. the horses do their tricks and seem playing together. we appreciate all the moments
Not exactly what I expected for a circus. Acrobatics was good. Clowns were a bit annoying and not very entertaining if you are an adult, but I guess the circus is really for kids (of all ages?). My daughter enjoyed most of it (especially the treats like cotton candy and sno-cones). She particularly enjoyed the juggling and acrobatics. Wasn't really interested in the clowns or animal portion. One of the horses had a bit of an anxiety attack during the show and wouldn't perform the required trick, but also it wasn't allowed to leave the ring until the act was performed. Somewhat cruel, but what can we do especially since we are supporting it by going. Overall, average. Would only really recommend it if you have kids and have never been to the circus and are interested in seeing what it is all about. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't go again.
I like the circus. Found that there should have been more animals present but the Beijing acrobatics where fabulous...Would defiantly attend next year with the upgraded seats though...
The Srine circus was a fun event for young children. Ticket prices were reasonable, but you pay for it with the concessions that were expensive as you would expect. The only negative was the PETA group protesting outside the venue.
Although the circus was extremely busy inside and there was a plethora of kids inside the performers were top notch and truly amazing to watch. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone we met. The star lost was not from the performers (they should get 6 stars) but it was from the tent setup and poorly coordinated seating arrangements
The show was good, the acts were great, can't ask for more based on the price, but the tent was extremly hot and stale, which made it very uncomfortable, we went to a 4pm show, with two small children, we left after the intermission. I would recommend a night show where there might be some more air in the tent. Great value for the entertainment.
The circus performance is awesome. My daughter had a great time.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.....I brought our four generations to the show, my Mother, visiting from Vancouver, my daugher and two grandchildren. From the moment we arrived to be greeted by the Clowns, my grandaughter loved the white clown in particular, to waiting in line and then entering the big top. Your greeters were fabulous, they were so considerate to my Mom and the children. Your staff suggested an upgrade to our seats to sit ringside and I would highly recommend this if you have small children, they even got to touch the elephants trunk when he stepped up right in front of them! Where do you get a take home program for a dollar, fabulous. All the pricing made it a fabulous affordable evening for a great cause. The show itself never stopped, a truly talented group of performers, great costumes and in particular the white ponies with their feather wings......a defenite see for all ages.
make sure be 1.30 minute before (or the line up - or seats) these are the options. The show started 20 minute late because of the elephant's ride. It was very hot inside. The ring way the small and not a lot of variety or animals. I'm sorry but not interesting, especially if you have baby less than two years old not the best place. bring a lot of water and treats for yourself
We went to the show without expectations and without actually using all the coupons that were around the internet. The show itself was pretty good but if you have smaller children make sure that you come really early (which is a trick by itself). We got the 45 min before and the line up was really long. When we got in the seats were not bad but my children couldnt see the majority of the show. Everyone was taller in front and it seemed that alot of the children in the show were standing up becuase they couldnt see. We left at the intermission because it was getting too frustrating. i recommend this show if you have older kids that are tall.
Shrine Circus was absolutely fun and would recommend it to anyone! Pro's : Fun, fun fun! Amusing, entertaining, kids will absolutely love it Con's : Concession Stand is very expensive, Toys are extremely expensive, It's a 3 hour show, gets a little too long, even for the younger kids.
It was not worth it. The tent was extremely hot and muggy, everything was over-priced. Outside of the acrobats, the acts were not entertaining at all. In fact, we saw many kids playing with their Nintendos and not paying attention at all. We left at intermission and decided not to go back.
I remember liking this show as a kid but as an adult I found it slow and hard to concentrate. The show started 40 minutes late and then it was a slow start with introductions instead of a 'big bang start'. People have to sit in a hot tent with wriggling children - and then they wonder why they don't get thunderous applause when they start? The acts were great - really good. But it took too long in between acts. I also don't enjoy an intermission with only 1 exit and general seating. My recommendations would be to get 2 more exits and entryways, start the show on -time - start faster and keep it faster. Don't bother with an intermission - let it be 1.5 hours long and that's it. It was too long and too slow for a hot, crowded event. Especially with hot kids!
It was the first time for me and my son to see a circus and it was fun. My son loves all the preformances. The sound systems was not too good, especially before the show and intermission, we could not hear clearly what the MC was saying. It was quite hot in the tent. It would be a good idea to improve the air circulation, with so many people, especially children in the tent, they need to have good air circulation. Overall, it is great and we will see it again for sure.
That was a great performance for whole family and all age people.
it was a pretty good show. lots of action, and entertainment. my kids loved the part with the poodles and us parents couldn't beleive the guy who was in the air swinging with nothing attached to him if he were to fall, and man was he good. A few things to change, prices in drinks to expensive since were forced to purchanse and it's so hot it the tent with no air flow or fans. Also Intermission was too long. Alot of people in our area said the kids couldn't wait or sit till it started again.
very average if you have kids, I guess you can take them once.
