The dances and dancers were amazing and unforgettable! It was such a great night!
Totally enjoyed the SYTYCD Live Show. The dancing was, of course, amazing... and the transitions from routine to routine were funny and great. I would recommend seeing these shows.
I went with my husband and 2 girls. We don't watch television at all except for the SYTYCD show which we tape and watch religiously. We absolutely LOVED it, all of us, even though we had crummy seats.
Overall the SYTYCD tour was an amazing experience. They performed all my favourite dances , and I was not disappointed with the calibre of dance . Overall a very very very good show , kept me entertained from start to finish .
Philip was awesome! Our seats were in a great location, except the view from one was blocked by a railing and another seat was broken. The dancing was amazing though.
I have been to every SYTYCD Tour since they started (including Canadian) and have yet to be disappointed. The visual effects this year were better than ever. The dances and dancers...... well what isn't there to say, that's the reason they were the top 12! I only wish I could dance that well or have the chance to work such incredible choreographers. Congrats to all the dancers on a job well done and all the crew for an amazing show. Can't wait until the next one!
This was my second time seeing the SYTYCD tour and I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it as much because I thought the caliber of dancers and the professional stage show would be hard to top. This year I brought my sister and Mom and to say we were all amazed at the show would be an understatement. I even took the time during the intermission to update my facebook status to say that the show was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend any fan of the show to attend.
My daughter & I attended the tour in Toronto and loved every minute of it. We have seen every tour and already have tickets for SYTYCD Canada. The dances were awesome--we hadn't missed a single episode on TV so it was great to see all the favourite numbers again, in person, as well as the top 10 (+2). Like the fact that all the dancers take turns MC'ing and the humour was an added bonus, particularly the "Russian bit". I thought America's favourite dance, Janine, should have been showcased more. My only issue was the sound system. Our seats were beside the stage to the left, 2nd level, 5th row from railing. I don't know if the sound was too loud, but we got an awful lot of echoing, and it was hard to understand when they were speaking.
Tour was great! The dancers were amazing, especially Philip who's solo was increadible! He got a standing ovation - I swear that guys has no bones in his arms! :o)
The evening was very good and entertaining. We saw the 2007 and loved it too. But this one was very cleverly done and the funny thing was how they introduced everything. I loved watching all the dancers do their solos, especially Brandon! OMG! He was incredible. So many performances got standing ovations and left a tear in your eye! We were really pleased with it. Not so pleased with the merchandise this year. In 2007 they had really nice stuff to buy this time it was really junkie and cheap looking!
The show was absolutely fantastic. The top 10 did such a wonderful job keeping us so very entertained. A little too much talking perhaps but i guess they wanted to fill the time in between each routine. GREAT GREAT show & totally worth the price. The show was almost 3 hours long. I would definitely go & see another season tour of SYTYCD!!
While I enjoyed the calibre of the dancing, the show relied too much on video replays from the television show. Further, these screens were really small for the venue,
We had a awesome time at the show this year because we had amazing seats. and the show was funny too this year, definitely going again nezt year!
Had a great time! The dancers were spectacular - Philip's solo was by far the best. All of the favourites were performed!
SYTYCD and the dancers delivered a great show, with spectacular dancing and great chemistry between the dancers in the skits in between.
the show was great the only complaint is that i thought at moments the music was a little loud for certain dances. It took away from the feeling of the number but it was still fantastic
The show wasn't too bad, but there were too many breaks in between with just silly dialogues that the dancers put on. Some were funny, but most of the time it was like I was in grade 3 again and putting on an educational scripted play where no one could act. They should have shortened those talks and just gotten on with the show. If you're a fan- you already know what the judges said about the dances anyways, so it doesn't need to be repeated. The dancing was great though, the TV breaks were not. Especially when they showed about Dizzy Feet (a video on a non-profit org the judges started) because it was too much of an advertisement. Overall, was not very impressed. I expected a lot better.
Thought the show was fantastic. The acting was not exceptional but the dancing was outstanding live. The only problem I had was with the facility and only having two washrooms open for females on the 300 level. The line took a long time and we almost didn't make it back in time for the second half.
SYTYCD Season 5 tour was fantastic. It was energetic and entertaining. We were impressed with the quality as well as the length of the show.
Overall disappointed with the evening. Too much video; if I wanted to watch video I'd watch reruns at home. An event of this nature needs large screens to compensate for the viewing distances. Sound was loud to being distorted. Lights were blinding at times creating a distraction making it difficult to watch the dancers. We won't be returning next year!
