  • So You Think You Can Dance Rocked!

    by reviewer71 on 2009-10-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The stage, effects, lighting, and even the dialogue all matched the dancing - which was terrific! It was well worth the money and at almost 3 hours of entertainment it was a full evening out! We missed not seeing nigel or mary or cat but it was still amazing!

  • So You Think You Can Dance...Oh! Yea!

by Callasandra on 2009-10-02Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I truly did not know what to expect as my friend is a truly faithful follower who was accompaning me. Wow! It was truly entertaining. The dancers were Oh My Goodness amazing, who thunk the human body could be so creatively used to touch your heart and soul the way these dancers did. The beautiful movements on stage no matter what piece they were portraying were like music or creative story telling. Amazing, fun, could not take my eyes off them. Bravo. Loved the way they introduced the Dancers with sets inbetween. The music and lighting was great (except for some strong white lights that shone out into the audience, that could be very distracting but it did not happen often), The screen shots and introductory cams were informative. Had a great time! Canadian version is hitting the stage and of course I will be getting tickets. I must comment on the piece portrayal about Cancer. The dancers made me feel in my soul and heart everything. I was crying not because I was sad but because the dancers made me feel the struggle but also the feeling of hope.

  • Talented dancers!

It was so entertaining to see the dancers we watched faithfully every week perform so many of the dances we enjoyed. It was inspiring for all the dancers in the audience to see these young stars perform. The dancers made everything look so easy and seemed to enjoy performing for the audience.

  • SYTYCD US Tour - AWESOME!

    by Northern13 on 2009-10-02Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

SYTYCD US Top 10 tour was amazing in Toronto. Philip's solo was awesome - he deserved the standing ovation. The event was well organized and the staff provided updates every few minutes while we waited for the doors to open.

  • SYTYCD what a blast!

by dancermom on 2009-10-02Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

If you liked the TV show, this show did not disappoint. Clips from the show and voiceovers by Cat Deely made you feel like you were watching a taping of the show and the dancers got their groove on to the delight of the fans. A surprise was the engaging banter between the stars as they segued between the different numbers. The recurring "Russian Folk Dance" joke was a hit, and all the best dance routines of this season's show were presented flawlessly

  • SYTYCDance was fantastic!

by elizeranda on 2009-10-02Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The SYTYCD show was exceptionally good. The dancers were on top form all the way through, with amazing energy without exception. The routines were brilliantly performed, and introduced with aplomb and humour. Lots of standing O's were richly deserved. Can't wait for the next tour!

  • SYTYCS was AMAZING!!!

Even though I didn't spring for the best seats, this show was hands down the most entertaining, breathtaking show I've seen since Lord of the Dance! It was packed with fantastic talent, humour and of course amazing dance! I would go again tomorrow!

Absolutely fantastic event but unfortunately late starting and a little bit too long. We had to leave to catch our train and couldn't see the end which had the best dances.

  • So You Think You Can Dance Live Tour was great!

by AZAZ on 2009-10-01Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The dancers had lots of energy; I enjoyed the added touches of humour such as the "infomercial with Kapono & the Russian dance with Jeanine & Philip; Recommend u get level 1 seats; just 1 criticism, the sound system was too loud esp for the ballet number, but overall a great show. My daughter & I enjoyed it thoroughly!

by ICEU on 2009-10-01Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

We found the dancing really outstanding, as we had expected. It was nice to see the venue completely full which we think the excellent dancers deserved. the only thing we would perhaps complain about was the loudness of the music which we think was unnecessary.

  • MORE OF THE SAME

by BONGAGNANT on 2009-10-01Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

It was a review of what we had seen on TV, there was no new dances. We were quite far and the screen which would have permitted us to see the action closer were too small and poorly located.

  • SYTYCD was fun!

by Pinkula on 2009-10-01Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The seats were great and the dancing was fabulous. Great talent and humor made the show very entertaining! Only complaint was the line up for the t-shirts. More stands to sell them would be nice. My daughter and I had a great time.
