  • SYTYCD was amazing!

    by sarah86 on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great. They performed all of the best dances from the season. I enjoyed how they brought the Canadian top 10 on stage with them! The skits and jokes between the dances were actually really funny and kept us entertained while they were changing and preparing. The video and lights and stage decorations were great and made the show look amazing.

Very entertaining. One of the best shows/concerts I have been to this year!!!

by Dancey on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was absolutely great. From beginning to end. All the favourite performaces were there. Bollywood, The cancer & addiction performance, "the fastest dico ever" matrix-esque paso doble, and the "butt routine"- The group Calle Ocho routine. All very well done. And there was a running gag all night about "Dances around the world" something Kupona did (don't want to ruin it). Overall a great event and every year it gets better and better.

  • The Best So You Think You Can Dance Yet!

    by SYTYCD14 on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best tour yet. Lots of fabulous dancing, and we had a chance to see the personality of all of the dancers shine. Loved the "Russian Folkdance"gag, as well as the great ensemble Russian number. Can't wait for the Season Six tour!!!!!!!!!!

When I got there, I couldn't believe I was seeing them live! It was amazing watching everyone do dances and seeing my favourite ones! The biggest shock, which was my favourite moment, was seeing season 2's SYTYCD Canada top 10! I can't wait to see them on tour! I <3 SYTYCD! I highly recommend watching these dancers on tour :)

  • So You Think You Can Dance

The show was amazing, the dancers were very good, and even quite funny. Though some of the scripted talk was a little cheesy. My main concern is that the volume of the speakes was so loud we couldn't bear it. I actually had to hold my ears through all of the performances. The only comment people were making in our section at intermission was how loud it was. One shouldn't have to leave an event in physical pain - just from listening. Be forewarned if you are going - bring earplugs.

Not as exciting as previous shows. Music was so loud it was distorted. Didn't give me chills like previous shows did with Neal, Danny, Twitch, Joshua. But my family enjoyed it. Toronto makes an excellent audience.

  • SYTYCD Unreal!

by WishesSheCouldDance on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

That was one of the best shows that I have been to in a long time. The crowd was a great mix, a lot of fun, wish it had never ended and I will for sure go to this event every time it comes to Toronto!

The show was simply amazing and my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We have been to all the So You Think You Can Dance shows and this one was no exception. FANTASTIC and a must-see show for all.

  • SYTYCD a good show - Just like on TV

    by 32215 on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

So you think you can dance was much like what we watch on TV - It was great to see the same favorite dances from the season. Would have liked to see some more new routines but overall fun and glad we attended!

  • Dancing was AMAZING but Same old concert format

by mussako on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This is my third year attending the seasonal SYTYCD show. I truly think the dancing was unforgettable and the most technical in previous years. I thought the performers were funny during their breaks and routine introductions. My only complaint is that every year the format of the concert is the exact same, if they expect to keep people coming back they need to change it up. Finally, even though the promotional clip about the new fitness DVD was quite hilarious, I didn't appreciate the other promotional advertisement that went on just because we paid to see a show with talented dancers and not to be pressured to watch the next season or about the foundation. The breast cancer dance was truly moving.

  • Amazing performances, poor dialogue.

by Kresslack on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The shows performances were absolutely incredible, a must see for any dance fan. However, the poorly-written intro to each song took away from the overall appeal, as well as the inclusion of too many videos and advertisements. A must-see nonetheless.

I took my 2 year old to watch So You Think You Can Dance Tour 2009 cause she loves dancing and music. The only tickets I could get where in the nose bleed (320's) and a worker from the ACC asked if we would like to move closer and we did. Not thinking we were getting to move alot closer but to our surprise we got to move 7 seats away from the stage. WOW what a difference LOL. It made the show that much more special for my daughter and myself. Thank you to So You Think You Can Dance Tour 2009 and the ACC for a night for my daughter to remember.

  • Great group of performers

    by 2cute on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Dancing was amazing some wish I could of seen more routines by Jeanete and Bandon as well as Melisa and Ade. All the routines on the show that they could have been could have been the show.

  • So You Think You Can Dance was a HIT!

by DGirl on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I took my 10 year old daughter to the event last night. She and I have been watching the show since it began.......every season.....although this is the first time we've gone to the live tour event. It was spectacular! You really get to see the dancers' personalities shine through as they are The Show. We got to see all of our favorite performances from the season and pick up souvenirs at reasonable prices. It truly was a great night....one that my daughter will remember for a long time!

  • So You Think You Can Dance was FANTASTIC!

by obbiewon on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show did not dissapoint. It was simply amazing to see everyone of the BEST dance live. The top 10 provided fantastic entertainment as they hosted the tour with humour and grace. I now have a new apprecition for Russian Folk Dancing thanks to the entire cast. Its our 3rd viewing of the tour; I know there will be a fourth by our family next year. Thanks for the exposure to the art of dance.

  • WOW!! Amazing!

by Hawkeyes on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was terrific! Would have been great to have Kat there live; versus just recorded. But besides that, you can't any better! Talented, talented kids!!

  • Excellent

This is our 3rd year to see the tour. We usually go to Detroit to see the show. The Toronto show is waayyyy better! In previous years some dancers appear, but don't dance (injury or night off?), and so other dancers dance their routines.Last night in Toronto, however, all dancers were there and they all danced, and danced their own routines. We also spotted two choreographers and one dancer from Season 5 (who didn't make the top 10 and tour, so was just there to watch the show). We got photos with each of them - very friendly people. We've never seen that in Detroit!

  • SYTYCD Tour 2009 was Fantabulous

by LindaS on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What an amazing evening. My 17 year old daughter and I came away with the same thought- that we had just been part of an absolutely awesome experience. Even though I watched the whole season; the talent of the Top 10 along with their "special" guests blew us away. The evening showcased some of my favourite dances, from high energy, sexy to intense, sad routines-Fantabulous. Loved the comedic side of the show as well. You know you've had a great nite when you talk about the show the whole ride home. It's a show to be seen. Congrats to the group.
