Missing the showmanship

Since I've been to every single SYTYCD tour season, I can safely say that this was the worst. The great majority of the dancers were very weak in hip hop, and even though they tried to cover it up on TV, it was obvious during the tour, especially during the final number which was very fun - we were all on our feet dancing along - but many of the contemporary dancers looked extremely awkward trying to bust a hip hop move. They also recreated some of the all-star dances with this season's Top 10 which, while it was a good idea because we wanted to see them, didn't actually work out because of varying skill levels. Finally, they cut out all the talking between numbers and flowed directly into different pieces, which actually worked for the most part. I think this was the most actual dancing I've ever seen in any SYTYCD tour. In conclusion, I don't think I would have ever said this before I saw this season's tour, but I would rather see a few less extensions and more personality when it comes to paying money to see the tour. Better luck next time!
