Social Distortion were great to see live!!!!

by Jadaaja on 2012-04-25Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

I loved watching each of the guys from Social D. Listening to their music live and watching them play their instruments from a simple stage was so cool, just like 20 years ago!!! Just them and their music, very cool!!!

Social D! Hail To The Kings!

by FanBoy100 on 2012-04-25Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Social D just re-enforced why they are the greatest band on the planet. A stripped down show that did not need any of that fancy crap that the big name bands tour with, just the music and the energy that goes with it. There are to few bands like this left in the game so thank the rock and roll gods that we still have Social D. Mile Ness has never sounded better and his banter with the crowd was very surprising. The set list was beyond awesome and they played for an hour and forty minutes. I have been going to concerts for 36 years and have seen just about everyone that is worth seeing and this would rank as one of the 2 best shows I have had the privilege of attending. I could follow this band for 50 shows in a row and never get bored of the music. Performed with all the slickness of a band that is polished and just knows what the hell its doing and what is needed to make your audience sit up and take notice. This is what gives a band longevity, the ability to consistently provide a kick-ass show over and over no matter how many times you see them. this was my 8th Social Distortion show and I can only say this, LONG LIVE SOCIAL D!!!!!!!!! HAIL TO THE KINGS BABY!!!!!!!!!!

    A+++ Sold out show !!!!!

by NowUknow on 2012-04-24The Odeon Events Centre - Saskatoon

LIndi Ortega opened the show with a country twang filled set. The Toadies were a no show that night, which was okay, so everyone was treated to a longer set from Social D !!!

Social distortion was a sweaty mess and I loved it

by Jojen on 2012-04-24The Odeon Events Centre - Saskatoon

So packed I could barely move. Was such a great time however the toadies didn't show up. Unfortunate that there was no one to fill the spot. Good show!

    Yet to disappoint!!

by Dillpickle420 on 2012-04-23The Odeon Events Centre - Saskatoon

This was the 4th time I've seen social d live and they never leave me unsatisfied!!! The opener was again someone from a completely different genre of music but kept the attention of those on the floor! But now back to social d..... They communicated with the crowed and lipped people off in true punk fashion and performed with passion that can be hard to find in today's current music scene.

    Social D kicked ass!

by Omegaman23 on 2012-04-23The Odeon Events Centre - Saskatoon

The boys really rocked the Odeon in Sasktoon on April 22nd! They went pretty much non-stop for and hour and 45 minutes and played their main hits. They finished the encore with an amazing version of "Ring of Fire" which ended the night perfectly. I was standing near the front and to have Mike Ness playing 6 feet away was incredible. I've always liked their sound however now that I've seen them in person I am now a big fan. It's a show I highly recommend; you won't regret it!

    Great Concert!

by Deneer on 2012-04-23Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

I wasn't really sure if I'd enjoy myself as I wasn't all that familiar with Social Distortion but I absolutely loved it!!!! What a great concert - music was fantastic and the band was great.

    Good band, bad sound

by typetotracy on 2012-04-23Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

It would have been a much better experience if I could of understood what Mike Ness was saying. The vocals were impossible to understand, for all the performers. Bad acoustics in there I suppose.

    Social Distortion Live

by Binky71 on 2012-04-22Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Mike Ness and the rest of Social D were EXCELLENT. Easily the best concert I have been to in a while. Straight ahead, no-holds-barred music. Thanks for sharing your talent with Edmonton boys.

    Social Distortion kills it again!

by winksalot on 2012-04-22Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Social Distortion were amazing yet again, they played for almost 2 hours and played new and older stuff. Their opening act Lindi Ortega was also incredible and should not be missed! Another great show, can't wait for them to come back.

    Simply the best!

by Asrodrig on 2012-04-22Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Social Distortion has been one of my favorite bands for a while, so I jumped on these tickets as soon as I could. I was certainly not disappointed. The opening acts were great, and Social D was simply phenomenal.

    Could have played longer!

by Trig691 on 2012-04-22Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Social Distortion is a great band but they deserve a better venue to play in. Also I couldn't believe they only play their set for an hour. They have a way broader set list and only played a few fan favorites. I thoroughly enjoyed their last tour to Edmonton but likely won't go again if they come back. I paid admission to see them and not the opening acts. Perhaps if they came on sooner instead of 10pm they would have the time to play a broader set list and make their fans feel like they truly got value for the price of admission.

    Social Distortion was Great

by PeeOOOD on 2012-04-22Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Social Distortion was awesome. Mike Ness and Gang were great as usual. The Edmonton Events Centre was a terrible venue and won't be attending any other events there. :(

    Social D was amazing

    by Ash1111 on 2012-04-18Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

The band was great. They sounded fantastic, and were feeding off of the crowd. No problems with the sound at all, the lighting people however were the pits.

A Warm, Intimate Evening of Gold Old Rock n' Roll

by dublunsky on 2011-02-08The Warfield - San Francisco

Mike Ness and the boys did not fail to deliver on this recent Thursday evening at the Warfield. The first of two sold out nights, saw Social D really stretch out some of their better known numbers with some extended soloing and powerful vocals. Their performance really showed off the chops of Johnny "Two Bags" Wickersham, and the new drummer guy, formerly with Suicidal Tendencies. I was really impressed with his prowess behind the kit and a superb replacement for the departed Atom Willard. Highlights for me included a very heart warming rendition of Bakersfield from the new album, and old fan favorites like Sick Boy. All in all, another fine evening of SoCal rock n' roll...Unfortunately, too lambasted to stay for any of the encores...

Unforgettable! Love the new sound of the organ!

by Vespalad on 2010-11-08Kool Haus - Toronto

The gig was very rewarding and worth the drive from London. Classic tunes and a couple of new tunes to tease us for the new album release in the new year. I think what was really great, was that Mike seems a little more mature and it reflected in some of the songs by the use of introducing an organ into the mix! It totally added to the sound and made it even fuller! No slowdowns of tunes and the band was truly tight! Well done to the Kool Haus and the sound crew for getting a fantastic sound, a great gig with no B.S! Fantastic!

    Mike Ness is the MAN!!!

    by Chaos75 on 2010-10-25Kool Haus - Toronto

I saw Social Distortion last year at Wakestock in collingwood and was very disappointed with the mix of social fans and wakeboarders. it seemed as though not many people were interested in seeing Social D. This year watching them at their own concert at the Kool Haus in Toronto, and it was EPIC!! The Band played AMAZING and the fans were showing their appreciation!! What a GREAT time!!
