Styx have endured for over five decades while staying true to their progressive rock sound and theatrical live show. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1972, Styx have sold over 54 million records worldwide between 17 studio albums, 16 compilations and nine live recordings. Notably, the band released four consecutive RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums between 1977’s The Grand Illusion, 1978’s Pieces of Eight, 1979’s Cornerstone and 1981’s Paradise Theatre, the last of which became their first to top the Billboard 200. Across their career, Styx earned eight Top 10 singles on the Hot 100, including the chart-topping “Babe” as well as “Come Sail Away” “Mr. Roboto” and their 1990 comeback single “Show Me the Way.” Despite several hiatuses and lineup changes, Styx have become one of rock’s most consistent touring acts, hosting nearly 100 live shows every year for over two decades and netting career-best earnings on massive co-headlining tours with REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Def Leppard. In 2021, Styx released their seventeenth studio album, Crash of the Crown.

Styx will head out on the Brotherhood of Rock tour in May 2025. After kicking off in Greenville, South Carolina, the tour will travel across the United States and Canada, with dates scheduled through late August.

Styx kick off their Brotherhood of Rock tour on May 28, 2025 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

    Styx, amazing! Lawrence Gowan also amazing. My only issue which makes me give them 4 star is they played 3 or 4 songs that were not really in their top 10-15 songs. You could see the crowd’s excitement level drop, mine included. But honestly, they sounded fantastic! Foreigner worth every penny! Fantastic concert!

    Bands were great! Only complaint is the number of inconsiderate people who bring oversized lawn chairs and place them in the very front of the lawns. Also, the people who bring giant tarps and blankets, take up a huge area, for only 2 people, while others are looking for a blade of grass to squat on!

    I saw Styx with Foreigner and John Waite at Budweiser Stage in Toronto on June 14th. This concert was awesome. All of the bands had great energy and sounded great. I would highly recommend seeing them if you have a chance.

    Saw Styx along with John Waite & Foreigner at Budweiser Stadium in Toronto. I really didn’t know what to expect and truth be told…it was amazing! John Waite blew me off my feet when he ended his set with Zeppelin’s Whole Lot of Love. Fricking awesome. Foreigner was outstanding. These guys give you your money’s worth. Love their energy. It’s like they invented entertainment. Please don’t retire cause I’ll come back again & again. Same goes for Styx. Just wow. What a performance. The musicianship & talent…let’s put it this way…I just didn’t want it to end. Don’t even know why I paid for a seat, because I never even sat in it. Was on my feet dancing the night away with a Corona in one hand, laughing, singing along and rockin. Would come back to see them in a heartbeat. Congratulations on an excellent show. Thanks for the memories ❤️
