Styx have endured for over five decades while staying true to their progressive rock sound and theatrical live show. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1972, Styx have sold over 54 million records worldwide between 17 studio albums, 16 compilations and nine live recordings. Notably, the band released four consecutive RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums between 1977’s The Grand Illusion, 1978’s Pieces of Eight, 1979’s Cornerstone and 1981’s Paradise Theatre, the last of which became their first to top the Billboard 200. Across their career, Styx earned eight Top 10 singles on the Hot 100, including the chart-topping “Babe” as well as “Come Sail Away” “Mr. Roboto” and their 1990 comeback single “Show Me the Way.” Despite several hiatuses and lineup changes, Styx have become one of rock’s most consistent touring acts, hosting nearly 100 live shows every year for over two decades and netting career-best earnings on massive co-headlining tours with REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Def Leppard. In 2021, Styx released their seventeenth studio album, Crash of the Crown.

Styx totally exceeded our expectations. A very talented group of artists. Thanks so much!
It was nice to see a show in Abbotsford and not going to Vancouver with all the traffic and the cost of parking
Excellent. Nancy Wilson backup band a little week. Singer was drowned out by the band Poor sound system
I’ve seen many concerts and Styx is at the top of the list for their energy, talent, catalogue of songs and sound! I did not know Gowan was their lead singer (20 years now), doh! He is amazing and so talented. I’ve waited 40 years see Styx and they were well worth the wait. Rock on!!!
High energy and entertaining! Great to hear all those tunes from our younger years 😃
Beautiful sunny day for a concert in October in Abbotsford. Started with Nancy and Heart, surprisingly great show. To upgraded comp tickets from the very back to row 14 up front. Styx . Styx was great, Gowan belted out song after song . A great time had by all!
Great venue, easy access and parking. Sound was great, STYX played awesome, came out for encore.
Best concert I have been to in a long while. The new gal with Nancy is awesome. And Styx sounded just as good as they did in the 70"s. Larry Gowan had the energy of a 25 year old
Nancy Wilson's Heart opened the show playing classic Heart songs, along with a couple Paul McCartney song. They closed with a Led Zeppelin cover. Nancy and her band were great. Absolutely wonderful show. Of course Ann and her vocals were missed, however the singer who they had in her place did a great job and has some serious pipes. Overall they were an excellent opening band, who could easily still headline a show of their own. Stux
First time attending an event at Abbotsford Centre, was immediately struck by how perfect the size was for the concert. Enjoyed the opening with Nancy Wilson's Heart, I had seen Heart play at my Vancouver High School years ago. Absolutely blown away by the performance by Styx, even with the band member changes, the sound and stage show were great!
They sounded fantastic, sang all my favourite songs and put on a great performance. The sound was great and they interacted well with the crowd.
Styx always puts on a great show, that was my 37 time seeing them and I still can’t wait for the next show. They don’t need a back up band, they could play four hours and I would enjoy every song
Styx was absolutely fantastic. Amazing show, sounded fabulous. The opening act was Nancy Wilson. She was so completely terrible in every way. I don’t understand why she was even there. She was embarrassingly bad. I was ready to walk out thinking if Styx sounded equally terrible . Thankfully Styx was amazing and sounded perfect.
Styx did a fantastic show. Intimate, entertaining and all backed up with a tight performance! Go see this band. They will not disappoint.
A rock concert done the way a rock concert should be done!
I have listened to The Styx and Nancy Wilson for years. This concert was amazing and I loved the setlist. This is what I call music unlike the stuff that comes out today which is saying something as I am only 24. Would definitely see them again.
I just hope they return, they were enjoying themselves, as much as we were enjoying them.
Styx never disappoints. They sound like they are in their recording prime. Captivating show and amazing musical talent. TS delivers a drum performance for the ages! Rock on boys!
Perfect venue. Fabulous concert. Loverboy sounded very good and I had forgotten how many hits they had. REO Speedwagon sounded fantastic - exactly the same as they did way back when. Both bands had lots of energy and related to the audience well. Styx, ahhhhhhh, our beloved Styx. I've seen them in big venues, small venues and everything in between. They NEVER disappoint! Excellent sound, phenomenal energy, perfect music. Love, love, love. We were high for weeks after! I'll go see them again and again. xoxo
Had an amazing time! All 3 bands gave it their all, but of course the highlight was Styx. I believe I saw them twice in the late 70’s/early 80’s in Mtl the last time, so it was a trip down memory lane and the sound and performance is even better today!
