About

Styx have endured for over five decades while staying true to their progressive rock sound and theatrical live show. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1972, Styx have sold over 54 million records worldwide between 17 studio albums, 16 compilations and nine live recordings. Notably, the band released four consecutive RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums between 1977’s The Grand Illusion, 1978’s Pieces of Eight, 1979’s Cornerstone and 1981’s Paradise Theatre, the last of which became their first to top the Billboard 200. Across their career, Styx earned eight Top 10 singles on the Hot 100, including the chart-topping “Babe” as well as “Come Sail Away” “Mr. Roboto” and their 1990 comeback single “Show Me the Way.” Despite several hiatuses and lineup changes, Styx have become one of rock’s most consistent touring acts, hosting nearly 100 live shows every year for over two decades and netting career-best earnings on massive co-headlining tours with REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Def Leppard. In 2021, Styx released their seventeenth studio album, Crash of the Crown.

  • Really enjoyed the show!

    by Timmy V on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert - Foreigner and Styx was a good combination. I probably would not have come if only one of the bands were there, but both was an easy ticket purchase for our group of four.

  • Great way to start the summer!

by KelleyD on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing! Styx is always great, and I forgot how many Foreigner songs I love LOL. I do feel bad for anyone who would normally drive to this venue if the parking situation doesn't change before The Ex starts, but for those of us who use Uber, we finally have a safe dropoff/pickup point! The first show of my summer concert season, I couldn't be happier :)

  • Excellent overall

by Lsands on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Good music Bud stage has been my favorite venue for many years. This year we were on the lawn. It was packed out there, no room to sit we ended up standing the whole concert , even though we brought chairs. If we had sat we were behind a wooden fence that would of blocked our view of the stage. It definately could be better organized out there.

  • Fabulous Show!!

by Crackerman on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

All 3 bands were exceptional! Great performances. I was a bit disappointed when I discovered a seat obstruction in section 404. Should have been stated on the ticket purchasing page. Guess I'll know better next time.

  • Great concert

Was great to hear all their greatest hits. They can still rock it!

  • Hit after hit

by Toots on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Flew to Toronto from Ottawa to see this one time experience of seeing with my Daughter ! Don't have just a special song / moment as this was 2 hours and 15 minutes of back to back hits with a short turn around break to switch instruments. Standing, Singing out loud and air drum to every beat !! Thanks for the memories

  • Styx&Foreigner

What a night! Excellent music, great weather at an outdoor venue and 4th row. 🎶😎

  • Mind blowing concert

    by 80’s Chick on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Exceeded all expectations! Four hours of Styx, Foreigner and John Waite - who could ask for more? Definitely worth the price of admission. Parking was a ripoff at $35 but that’s a venue issue. Thanks for a great night.

  • Awesome

by Turtlemamagold on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was such an epic night out!!!! I revisited my youth and danced the night away. Thanks so much for putting this great night together ♥️

  • STYX & FOREIGNER w/Jukebox Heros

by MJ on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Classic Old School Rock & Roll!! Awesome stage performance by all. Way to rock Toronto!!

  • Awesome trifecta

by Donmcm on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

John Waite was great . Styx was amazing !! Foreigner was super tight and had the crowd going all the way through their set . Could have easily been the headline . Not Styx wasn’t fantastic , I just felt like Foreigner connected more with the crowd . Worth every penny 😉

  • Styx & Foreigner

by Baldy on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue for concerts. Even better when the Bands are on point with their performances. Good job all around.

  • Styx and Foreigner at Budweiser Theatre

by McLovin on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Both bands rocked it! Would go again for sure. They need to fix the ridiculous beer prices. Pure and simple gouging.

  • Super awesomeness

by Di on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Extraordinary talented musicians at the finest Parking on the other hand was brutal. Missed The first band due to no parking. I wish I knew about ordering parking online prior to event. Would have helped Thank you

  • Foreigner Stole the Show!

by Beege on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Even though I think this was billed as a "co-headliner"show, since Styx is more of a soft-rock band, they should have come on first to sort of warm-up the audience, and then let Foreigner finish by getting the crowd up dancing 'til they drop! All-in all a very fun evening though, not to mention the weather cooperating perfectly.

  • Great show!!!

by Greg on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I was going into this concert, knowing it would be good but it was ever greater than expected!!! Amazing show!!!

  • Styx Foreigner show

by RB on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Foreigner was very good and better than I expected. Good show and good clean sound. Styx overall sound was disappointing- muffled and bassy in many songs. Shaw and Gowan’s vocals were great and clear on most songs.

  • Great show not one of my fav bands

by Spanky on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

A+ for value getting three bands and the ticket prices could be had for as low as $35? I'd call that a bargain. I was really disappointed that John Waite didn't have anywhere close to the lighting or volume that the other bands did. I think downgrading opening bands is a poor practice and so I will always downgrade the rating for the headliner as a result. Styx and Foreigner are a great team especially if you like ballads.Styx was excellent like a time machine. on a great show. Tommy Shaw is it.

  • Awesome night

by Sue on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

We had the best time Everything was amazing Even the weather cooperated what a beautiful night The bands played to the audience. It was engaging. Listening to all those songs we all sing to.

  • Loved Foreigner/Styx was Just OK

by PCAKES on 2024-06-17Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Foreigner put on a spectacular show, full of high octane energy and special effects. Didn't stick around for all of Styx's performance as I just wasn't feeling it
