From the opening band to the 4 encores!! Wow 4 encore’s! Great night of music and entertainment! My wife and myself had a great time. Jim did about 2hrs and that was unexpected but a welcomed surprise:) He sounds better than ever . Great night !
First of all the Commodore! Come on, the BEST place to see any band, standing room only, don't care. This was my 68th Jim Cuddy/Blue Rodeo show, and he never dis appoints. OH Suzanna started off a little slow to my liking, but her stories of how she came up with the songs were funny. She later did a song with Jim Cuddy and knocked it out of the park. That collaboration was FUNtastic. The Jim and his band come out. The stories he told, the songs he sang, plus throw in a few of Blue rodeo classic, then he brings out Barney Bentall...then they all come out and sing Wash Away. Just fantastic. They all looked like they were having Fun too. Great night. Great band. Great memory.
Jim Cuddy has a amazing voice, enjoy all his songs.
This is about the 10th time I've seen Jim Cuddy perform, either with Blue Rodeo or with the Jim Cuddy Band. He always puts on an excellent show. I'll always buy tickets to listen to Jim Cuddy! FirstOntario is a great venue, too-small enough that there aren't really any bad seats, and the sound is excellent.
Another amazing show from Jim and his band.Great selection of songs. Great solos Anne and Colin. Come back to Hamilton soon. Real treat having the Skydiggers open. They never disappoint. New album is awesome. Andy's solo album is also amazing!
Jim Cuddy still has it! He was very entertaining!
We enjoyed every minute of this concert from start to finish and Jim Cuddy described his Band best when he said they were fantastic musicians he was correct.
Such an engaging performer. The stories between songs gives the audience a glimpse into what a down to earth gentlemen he is. The set is on-stop toe tapping, sing along enjoyment. We’ve seen Jim Cuddy many many times and despite hearing every song before we will continue to support him at any venue we can.
Great venue to watch the show. Not stop music. Was a great show.
As always the Avalon theatre was a perfect venue. Great seats, awesome sound and easy access. After enjoying a delicious meal inside the casino it was a leisurely walk to the doors and no waiting!! Always a treat to hear Jim sing and he and his band always look like they are enjoying the evening too. Will definitely see them again and attend the Avalon for other artists.
Was a very entertaining show. Love Blue Rodeo and Jim Cuddy. I was disappointed though that the song "Trust yourself" was not part of the show. I was looking forward to that song.
Jim was wonderful, as always. Great show, great seats, great sound. First time at this venue, and certainly my last. Their no photo policy is ridiculous. Security was over the top, rude, and just plain nasty. People were trying to take pictures, which Jim was posing for, and they made a huge deal about it. Practically vaulted over the seats to stop people. So stupid, and very disruptive to the rest of us and totally ruined the experience. If the entertainer doesn't mind, they should mind their own damn business. I will never go to another show here, no matter who it is.
Loved the stories in between songs. It was a very relaxed vibe. Anne Lindsay is incredible! Thanks Jim Cuddy for an awesome concert.
Love the smaller venue at The Lindsay Academy for Performing Arts. The band was pure magic ... such talented musicians. Jim Cuddy’s voice sounds better than ever and loved hearing the story behind a couple of songs. Loved the whole thing!!
Great venue for an intimate concert. Jim's vocals were amazing and he has a strong back up fiddler and guitarist. The fiddler blew the crowd away with her skills. Would go again in a minute.
Great seats, good people. Music was outstanding, sometimes very intense, brought a tear to my eye. So relateable to some of his music.
What a tremendous night. The opening act was a personal favourite of mine...Barney Bentall. Jim Cuddy was excellent as usual and him and Barney performed together as well as alone. Jim's sons were awesome, especially Devin! I wouldn't hesitate to go and see them all again, including Barney Bentall! Great job Barney and Jim!
Felt like being with family. Jim and his boys, Barney and the fabulous Anne Lindsay. I do want to know how to get the album download. I can't find a link to it on the tour site or elsewhere. Jim said it was included with the ticket.
Whether he's performing with Blue Rodeo or on his own- he does an amazing show.
