About

The Lumineers are a Grammy-nominated indie folk band from Denver, Colorado. Led by founding members Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano), the band is often credited for helping mainstream the Americana genre in the 2010s, the band has cultivated a following thanks to their vivid storytelling, dynamic live shows and catchy choruses. Their 2012 hit “Ho Hey,” from their self-titled debut, reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2016, they released their second studio album Cleopatra, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The Lumineers headed out on their first headlining arena tour in 2017, and opened for U2 at stadiums on the band's Joshua Tree Tour that same year. The band’s anthemic ballad “Ophelia” also went viral on TikTok in 2020–21, with help from a dancing kangaroo, and introduced the band to a new legion of fans. In January 2022, The Lumineers released their fourth studio album, BRIGHTSIDE, which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and was described by The Telegraph as “a sweet slice of Americana that will get right under your skin.”

Super Excited to go to the show tonight. SUPER DISAPPOINTED to be at the show. They didn't come on until after 10:15 pm. Then after 45 minutes they walked off the stage. Not sure why. We couldn't understand what he mumbled through the mic. Although they sounded good and have good potential. The venue was terrible and being so late was very disrespectful, annoying and boring. Lots of people getting drunk fast because there's nothing else to do, so when they were on there was lots of chatter. I went from being a huge fan to not so much now. You'll have to do something to impress me now.

The Lumineers were unbelieveable in Hamilton. It was an unreal experience, one of the best concerts i've ever seen! I would recommend any of all ages to see this band. They were so interactive with the crowd, and performed the best encore I have EVER seen! I would see them over and over again!

    the Lumineers were great!!

by djpaullie on 2013-05-03Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

I wanted to go to the Copps concert to be in a more civilized environment than the Sound Academy. The drive to Hamilton turned out to be a breeze and the venue is a short drive from the 403. The band was really tight, banging out songs with very little banter between. The sound was surprisingly very good. We stayed until the end and escaping the area was relatively easy. I will definitely consider seeing another show @ Copps.

Could've been great- but it wasnt'

    by Jaya80 on 2013-05-02Sound Academy - Toronto

Just got back from their show in Toronto- we left early. the first night at Sound Academy ...which was supposed to be at the Danforth Music Hall- why move it? DMH is a great venue...this one- not so much. They sounded great. Unfortunately, they sounded great way WAY too late. they took the stage 45 minutes AFTER their opening group...they left their fans staring at a (fully set up) empty stage for 45 min...and when they FINALLY started no apology. Show was supposed to start at 8, and they take the stage at 10:30....really? You ain't divas- you have no reason to be that late. I think this is the first time they have been through Canada- this isn't the way to win fans. take a page from Mumford and Sons. Do the small, intimate venues well. They lost more than just two fans tonight- we saw a flood of people leaving early. Could've been a great concert. It wasn't.

    The Lumineers were incredible!

by Lildogg on 2013-05-02Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

The band was awesome. I had seen them before in NYC, so the setting at Copps can't really compare to that, but I'm obsessed with this band so the show was amazing nevertheless. The staff at Copps were very friendly. We had GA tickets and my friend arrived later than I did, and security allowed me to walk back up the stairs and give her ticket so she could come in, that was very nice.

Venue couldn't be better ! My girlfriend and I were upset we could only get upper bowl tickets but you really couldn't have a bad seat in that place. The bathrooms were clean and the staff very helpful in directions !! It was an amazing experience and if you haven't checked The Lumineers out live your missing out !!!!!!!!!!! Amazing date night :)

    Lumineers at Copps

by MaryJay on 2013-05-02Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

The band itself was fantastic. They have a wonderful stage presence and are truly happy to perform for their fans. The one aspect that I thought we could have done without was them playing within the crowd. For those on the outside it was really hard to see them. The venue was okay. I think I would have much preferred this in a more intimate setting. Or the Molson Amphitheater for a summer outdoor show.
