The Swell Season Tickets

As a regular concert goer I find most professional musicians of very high calibre and able to give excellent performances. It makes sense, it's why they are sought after and famous. Every now and then though you find a performer that is so skilled, so honest and passionate about their work, they transcend the technical craft, the cords, the beat, etc. Watching Glen perform is pure joy, he is the real deal and I can't describe the feeling he transfers to the audience without falling upon all of the over used, definitives you see in too many reviews. Too good for words

The Swell Season performance was completely amazing. There were three separate standing ovations! The whole show just took it beyond what I even expected - and I had high expectations. There were points where I was so shocked and amazed at the talent I couldn't even bring myself to applaud. I couldn't even move. The passion and depth in the performance was limitless. Glen's presence was unbelievable. Also, having the Frames backing the performance was a treat in itself.

Best concert of my life! I was in the upper balcony, but sounds everywhere was AMAZING! They are amazing live! Actually I think even better live than on the CD.

Warm up act was not great and Glen and gang did not start until nearly 9. No need for the extended warm up act and half hour delay waiting for the main event. A little late for a mid week performance for people coming in from out of town. (yawn!). Having said that, Glen and Mar were fantastic. So were the Frames.

not only the band is awesome, the music exceptional, but also the venue made this concert absolutely swell. they are extremely talented, entertaining, and who knew have a total rock and roll flare to them. it is a must see!!

This was one of the best concerts that I have been too in a long time. Glen is an outstanding performer who leaves nothing on the stage. He and Marketa have a lovely tone together and their pieces were terrific. They and the band had an authentic chemistry and managed to make Massey Hall feel like a small bar in Dublin where a few friends had gathered to jam together. What struck me about them was how genuine they were as human beings, clearly they were playing themselves in "Once", which is quite an accomplishment. The concert itself was an excellent blend of the familiar and the new and the power of the music and their artistry made it an evening that will stay with me for quite some time. Massey Hall was the perfect venue for them and they clearly loved the space. All in all , a perfect evening.

Glen Hansard is one of the best performers I have ever seen. Marketa and Glen together is haunting and will give you goose bumps. The Frames and Swell Season combined are a must-see. They played for two hours.... and they truly are performers. I loved every second of the concert from beginning to end.

I have been going to see Glen and the boys for the last 15 years in various places....and it is truly amazing for me to see that he and Marketa are getting their "angels share" of the limelight ; recognition that is long overdue. The Swell Season is one of those rare magical experiences that music lovers and venue lovers (pefect for Massey Hall) are dying to experience. Please keep at it guys...you always leave us wanting more...

One of the best shows I have seen in years. The talent is unbelievable, amazing vocals Glen Hansard's guitar playing has to been seen and heard to be appreciated. On top of that Hansard is a very capable showman.

Great concert, great music, great singer, great night!

Amazing venue, amazing band, amazing crowd. I only knoew one song going in but was captivated by the entire set from start to finish.
