    Book of Mormon was hilarious!

by MUSICLOVER99 on 2018-09-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

This show was hilarious! I had no idea what to expect, but heard it was funny and it did not disappoint. People should know that this musical was written by the creator/writer of SouthPark and is satirical in nature and there is lots of profanity. There were parts that were so funny, that I almost fell off my chair. I recommend looking into this play further before buying tickets though, as I can see how some people may be offended.

The Book of Mormon was hillarious

by Nikka2 on 2018-09-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Loved, loved, loved this show. Was jaw dropping at times but so funny. Acting was fantastic. Best 2 hours ever Highly recommend, just don't take children..... Hope it returns. I attended on the last weekend and wished I had gone sooner so that I could have gone twice.

    Philosophy Plus

by bayoubunny66 on 2018-09-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

A fascinating attempt to portray the need for all religions to keep current and attempt to solve new problems without resorting to ancient nostrums. We learn that every holy book is just made up by somebody ... it may as well be by somebody who genuinely wants to help humanity. And there was a tremendous selection of funny songs.

Satire was right on. Social commentary as well but delivered in a straight forward manner

    Amazing and shocking

by bobsuncle on 2018-09-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

We knew that it was going to be controversial, but the topic was so much more serious that we anticipated. Female mutilation and war lords were not what we were expecting. Amazing acting and singing. Eye opening.

    Book of Mormon

by Chiy2 on 2018-09-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Far too much obscene terminology and movements at times. Enjoy humor and sexuality but am revolted by grossness. Actors were very good.

The Book of Mormom - disappointment

by Pugmomma on 2018-09-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

went to the show and found that it was very blahh. There were some funny parts but they were few and far in between. Where we were seated the sound quality of the voices was not great. There were many times when you would struggle to hear what they were saying. Not a show I would return to see again.

Great show, very entertaining. Unfortunately sometimes it was hard to hear the lyrics, a couple of people around us had the same comment.

Book of Mormon was a spectacular show! From the moment lights go out you are sucked into a musical world of Mormons and it’s super entertaining! The set was impressive, and overall worth your money.

Good Show, Content Not For Me

by mar2189 on 2018-09-25Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The performers and music were really good. Content was a little bit too crude for me but I didn't do my full research on the play. Would recommend if you like this type of humour.

    Want to See it Again

by Anonymous101 on 2018-09-25Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The show was great. Very entertaining. Feel like we missed some of the funny bits due to not being able to hear due to the patrons sitting behind us that were talking and laughing loudly throughout the performance. Perhaps they could have turned up the sound a bit more, as it was a very funny show, with lots of laughter from the audience.

Great show, sound could use adjustment!

by TheatreCat on 2018-09-25Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The show itself was fantastic. I would go again in a heartbeat. It is hilarious and very well written. The sound at the one I was at seemed a bit off. I struggled to hear some of the voices over the music which was frustrating. Overall a great experience.

    Great fun!

by Dreamrider on 2018-09-25Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

You need to go to this show knowing that the guys who wrote South Park wrote this play. I loved it! tonnes of laughs and off colour humour that I expect from these guys. They like to offend everyone equally all tongue in cheek. I was the only parent with teen age kids for some reason (due to the cursing and swearing I expect) but my kids absolutely loved it and I am so glad I brought them.

    *ding dong* HELLO!

by AustinG on 2018-09-25Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Loved every minute of it! We watched it LIVE for the first time and it was incredible. The only issue we (and few others on our side) felt was the vocals not being loud enough but that may have been a venue issue. Apart from that it is a must watch
