An epic sub-pop phenomena. This show rocked from the steady ruse of their opener. The opening band was also pretty good!

by AdamJakedog on 2010-04-09The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoFreaking awesome! I attend about 15 shows a year and this is one of the best that I have seen in a long time. Started with "You are a runner..." my favourite and ended with Kissing the Beehive, my girlfriend's fave. Played a lot of new stuff and it was really good. So loud. But so rockin! We even got to sing happy birthday to Spencer's mother in Alberta.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Wolf Pack show was awesome
by MZED on 2010-04-08The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoPlain and simple Wolf Parade put on a great show last night at the Phoenix in Toronto. They played all their good stuff and a huge amount of new songs. I really think that the new album is going to be the best yet, if these songs are any indication. Overall it would have been nice if the crowd was into it a little more, but that didn't the band from playing high energy from beginning to end. As a note, opening act, We Are Wolves kicked ass. They also came out and played high energy for their entire set. Again this was a very enjoyable show and I can only see Wolf Parade continuing to gain popularity from here
Rating: 5 out of 5 Brilliant!
by mathu75 on 2010-04-08The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoThey played a good mix of old and new material and sounded great! The new songs are awesome! The new tunes are as good, if not better than their earlier efforts. I highly recommend going to see Wolf Parade, if you are a fan of music in any way, shape or form
