  • It Rocked!

by Longtime fan on 2023-12-03The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I have been a fan of Wolfmother since the first album, which I ordered online and had shipped to me from Australia, before I could just stream it. The show was great, they sounded great, the venue felt packed. It rocked. The only thing that kept it from being perfect was the lighting, which is unusual for The Danforth Music Hall, normally the lighting there is really well done. This night, there was a noticeable lack of front light, which I at first assumed was at the request of the band, until they actually asked for a bit more light so the audience could see them from the stage, it didn't change, also the placement of the band and the lit areas did not line up, it felt like no care was taken in making sure this important element was utilized to it's full extent. Poor show on the part of the venue. But other wise the band was great!

  • Sound quality was awful

The crew should've done a better sound check. It was like listening to the show from inside of a marshmallow. I love Wolfmother, and I have no doubt they played an amazing show, but it was just horrible to listen to that night...like buying dollar store headphones and putting on heavy metal. Terrible concert-going experience!

  • A step down

Love Wolfmother and I'll probably go if they come back to town. Having said that - the Toronto 2023 show was a big step back from the last time they were in town. No backdrop, no organ, poor lighting and some limp covers. The hired guns on bass and drums for this tour were okay but too many corners were cut.

Been waiting years to see them live and they did not disappoint. Unbelievable performance. Absolutely amazing the sound they can produce with just three instruments. Can't wait to see them again when they come back. An most see show for any fan of real rock.

  • Wolfmother - Danforth

by Marilyn on 2023-11-30The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What is it about this band? There are no words - just simply phenomenal. Members have changed throughout the years but the leader singer is the same. It was great to hear a few Zeppelin tunes too! It was my 3rd time seeing them. They don't come around too often so if you have a chance to see them, definitely go!! You will not be disappointed!

  • Poor lighting but the band kicked ass as always!

by Jeff on 2023-11-30The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

For a 3 piece band, Wolfmother had a full sound and excellent showmanship. The sound was excellent and Andrew Stockdale’s voice sounded incredible in spite of the rigours of touring. The Danforth really needs to have a spotlight or something. You could barely see the band for most of the show…

  • Great show!

Opening band Feverdog was entertaining and had awesome stage presence. Wolfmother sounded the same as they did recorded which I always like in performance. Not much talking between songs but that’s okay with me they played more songs to make up for the lack of audience interaction or so it seemed. Was a bit confused about the lack of a merch booth for Wolfmother as it’s the only time I’ve ever been to a show where the performers didn’t have any merchandise to sell, however the opening band did have a few things to sell which made the lack of Wolfmother shirts and albums more noticeable. I figure their must have been an issue with the border or something but regardless it was a fantastic show and made for a memorable Saturday night
