First time to see Juda Priest. Good show, in your face band. Of the 3 bands The Temperance Movement was the only one I would pay to see again.
Unbelievable talent, unbelievable energy......amazing skis from both these venerable titans! Bravo!!!!
Didn’t stay for Deep Purple as I am not a fan but Priest put on a phenomenal show.
Deep Purple, Alice Cooper and the Edgar Winter Band were all terrific. 4 hours of Music .. nothing better 3rd time seeing Alice Cooper .. he just gets better
A perfect Rock Crunch Trifecta, combines 150 years of rock history. Edgar opens with sax, keyboards and drums, a still a potent vocal. Hits include a dedication to his brother Johnny who passed in 2014, with a stirring rendition of Tobacco Road and concluding his set with Frankenstein. Alice takes the stage with his mastery of kooky rock art . 70 minutes of Coop at his best I thought. Blistering guitar licks from THREE leads including a one Nita Strauss, voted 1 out 5 best female shredders..HOT. The energy escalates to the final song " Schools Out". After a short set change Rock Giants Deep Purple take over punching out hits from their 50 year library....and Purple finally presents their most identifiable guitar riff "Smoke on the Water"
We'll start with what didn't go well,Edgar Winter and Deep Purple,I would have paid the price of my ticket just to see Alice Cooper, never have been a fan of Edgar Winter, but he gave a solid effort,Deep Purple, kind of a fan back in the day,but they should have packed it in before this latest tour,Ian's voice is gone by the wayside, looked very old on stage, and I'm not into 10 minute songs all night. Alice Cooper put on a fantastic show, the great hits, the stage presence, the theatrics were all great, loved every minute of it,I will continue to see Alice whenever he's in town, thank you for saving the night, and by being the 2nd act,I got to leave early. Keep on shining Alice Cooper.
Great show, Edgar Winter was fantastic as always. Alice Cooper was a high energy show, lots of theatrics. His guitarist Nita Strauss is amazing! If you're not familiar with her, do a search and watch her play. TALENTED is an understatement. Oh, Deep Purple was there too, they should have been the opening act for Alice Cooper, not the headliner.
Only downfall was too many drunks and overweight people that are too large for the seats.
All 3 bands were outstanding. That said, I have to say Alice Cooper & his female Lead Guitarist Nita Strauss - stole the show.
Originally bought these tickets primarily to see Deep Purple as my husband's a huge fan, saw them 10 years ago and they put on a really good performance. Fast forward 10 years and it really shows, they are slowing down big time. I realize the are all close to 70, but so is Alice Cooper and he really slole the show, in my opinion. Puts on a great performance and still sounds the same. Enjoyed Edgar Winters as well. Glad we went but won't be rushing back to see DP anytime soon, they are past their prime.
Can't think of the word to use to describe how each of the iconic musicians performed amazingly.
Edgar Winter was very good, Alice Cooper was amazing and Deep Purple sucked! Alice Cooper should have been the closing act. The lead singer for Deep Purple was having trouble keeping up to the music. The camera kept focusing on his face and you could see he was struggling to sing.
It was a pleasure and an honor to see Deep Purple. After 40 years in the music industry they have and still can do what they do best, great music, entertain and rock. Ian Gillan (original band member) on vocals still awesome. At his age being almost 70, lots of good vocals but sadly loss of air to bellow for longer periods of time as in days of old. Still a great front man. Steve Morse on lead guitar incredible. Don Airey ( who replaced Jon Lord rest in peace) on keyboards fascinating. Ian Paice (original band member) on drums impeccable. His speed with the sticks and licks on the drums still like lightning. And last but not least (original band member) Roger Glover on bass guitar beautifully pounding out and carrying the very essence and heavy rhythm to fill and ground every song. Over all a grand show and wonderful to see these classic rockers. Thank you Ticketmaster. Cheers
I first saw Deep Purple in Offenburg, Germany in 1973. They were good then and they are good now. After 40 plus years you get what you would expect.." A polished, professional, technically perfect" show. It's always good to see a band that still has fun doing what they do and appreciates their audience. To the naysayers.....Ian can still manage a pretty good primal scream.
What to say about Deep Purple. They've been the best in almost last half a century.. Awesome show. They know no limits..
they do not played most hits, sound not good quality
The Band began with "Highway Star" and the lead vocals were great. After that it was one lead guitar solo after another after another. And poor quality singing. This allowed less time for singing and apparently was a plan. Whenever the lead singer sang after the initial song.....it was terrible. His range and voice quality from his youth is apparently gone. I tired of the lead guitar solos so much, I left.....when I chose to leave......4 others were going down the escalators at the same time. They also stated ...he's too old! That's not true in the case of AC/DC or the Stones or David Bowie or especially Bad Company(amazing! even better than the old days....vocals were astounding) .It's not about age...but about maintaining professional voice quality & passion. Deep Purple ....a hugely Iconic Band....should have quit when they were still Iconic. I was SO DISSAPOINTED. I am such a huge fan of this band. I have seen The Who, Deep Purple & Three Dog Night in this last year....and swear I will never pay to see an "old guy band" again based on these 3 acts.....But I would never hesitate to buy a Bad Company ticket. I'm 61 yrs. old.I used to sing in Bands and have even tried out for Musicals in my life...like JC Superstar in Canada and South America in the 70's. . The Lead singer in Bad Co....Now.....has even better tone and quality control of his voice than I could have ever imagined at this age. Better than ever!!!! totally professional, totally entertaining and a huge pleasure to listen too.
After a bad experience with Eric Burdon, I "dragged" my wife to this concert. Now she is back on "concert" mode. We both really enjoyed the show and so talented musicians. Deep Purple was amazing! I will see them again if will decide to have another concert.
I was so looking forward to this concert. What a disappointment. The music was way too loud and the new songs were terrible. I can't believe how much time and money I wasted going to this. The last three events we have seen have been nothing but disappointments. Won't be attending anything for while.
My husband and I went to the concert and we were very happy with the night. We saw a fabulous band that we have loved for years had a wonderful dinner and we walked away with a bit of money won on the penny slots lol. A good night all around :)
