    Fantastic Concert, Awesome band

    by Alabama Fans on 2023-08-27

We went to the Alabama concert in Ottawa on August 24, it was an absolutely excellent time. Alabama were outstanding, the talent was spectacular, they performed many of their hits. We had great seats in the front row, it was fantastic to be that close to the stage. The Bellamy Brothers were really great too. We had a fun night, truly a night to remember, the tickets were definitely worth the money. It was the best concert we have been to. Highly recommend going to see Alabama.

    Time to Retire

    by DCF on 2023-08-27

Lead singer had a complete lack of stage presence, acted like a grandpa with alzheimers lost in a grocery store. At least he didn't forget all the words.

Not as exciting as I hoped

    by Smalltowngurl on 2023-08-27

The set up for the stage was boring, no big screen to see them up close. It was not loud at all, you could have a conversation and not raise your voice. It just missed that country/let's holler/dance and party feeling.

    Good Concert

    by BGG on 2023-08-27

It was good but not great! The group has been performing for 50 years! Soon time to hang it up. Really enjoyed the fiddle player which gave the performance lots of life.

Lucky to have seen both bands

    by Rixtir on 2023-08-27

I love coming out of a concert pleasantly surprised. Tonight was one of those nights. Every song Alabama and the Bellamy bros. Played were radio hits. All the vocals and music were spot on. Outstanding. The sound was great. The lighting simple but effective. Very well done. The only thing I wished for was better video production allowing close ups of the artists doing their thing.

    Misleading tour title

    by Fan#20284759 on 2023-08-27

Everything was great but despite the tour being called Roll On, they never played the song! Everything else was fantastic! Just sad it wasn't played.

    A fantastic, awesome concert

    by pest on 2023-08-27

Alabama never fails to amaze both my daughter and myself. The tribute to Jeff Cooke was amazing. He will be missed but the boys make the most of it ...their niece was amazing on the fiddle. Randy and Teddy always are amazing to watch and to listen too. We will always go to see them as they have always been my all time favorite country group....we missed not hearing 18 Wheeler....Roll on,but my favorite ,"Angel's Amoung Us",was sung...thank you for that ,Alabama, you rock

    The show

    by Clay on 2023-08-27

I think they put on an excellent show. They really make the crowd participate a lot with most of the songs. My niece and I really enjoyed it!

    Amazing concert

    by Dizzy123 on 2023-08-27

Amazing, energetic concert. Would definitely see them again. Sadly the experience was negatively impacted by the occupants in the row in front of us. They were quite inebriated, loud and inconsiderate of those around them.

    Nostalgic

    by Zeke on 2023-08-27

Most of the songs took me back to my formative years. After all these years the band still sounds great. Unfortunately, they didn't sing the entirety of some top songs and no Roll On!!

    Not too bad

    by Candy on 2023-08-27

The concert wasn't too bad. I didn't care for the opener just because they are well before my time. Alabama wasn't bad they are old and it shows but it was somewhat enjoyable the songs I knew

    It was ok

    by Concertgoer on 2023-08-27

The tickets were a reasonable price, they venue was way over priced for food and drinks. We were super disappointed that they didn’t play Roll on considering we were at the roll on tour. The violinist was amazing!

    Good Show

    by Leighsofree on 2023-08-27

NGL, was a little shocked at Randy's lack of energy and mobility, but hey... he's 73! But he seemed to take it all in stride with a sense of humour and humility. I think the other performers did their best to pick up the slack, and were successful at doing so. Might have been able to connect more with the crowd if Randy had addressed being in OTTAWA and not just Ontario. I, like others around me, shared a WTF moment when they finished the set list including encore without playing Roll On. I mean, the tour is called Roll On North America Tour after all. At the end of the day they're a great band that I've loved for many years. Really glad to have seen them accompanied by my adult daughter who I used to play Alabama songs to rock her to sleep in my arms💕
