About

Over the course of 35 years, the beloved quartet has sold over 15 million records worldwide and built up an arsenal of hits such as "If I Had $1,000,000," "One Week," "Pinch Me," and "The Big Bang Theory Theme." Widely acknowledged as one of the best live acts on the planet, BNL has hosted a cruise, had their own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, and participated in the first-ever “space-to-earth musical collaboration” with astronaut  Chris  Hadfield. To date, BNL has amassed eight JUNO  Awards, garnered two GRAMMY nominations and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. BNL’s 18th studio album, In Flight, was released in 2023 and features 14 brand new studio recordings. It’s available everywhere you stream music.

All the entertainers engaged the crowd, played good music and looked like they were enjoying themselves so all in all a great concert

  • BNL was Good!

by fungal on 2015-11-05Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 2 out of 5

I was impressed with Alan Doyle whom I had not heard before. I was disappointed with BNL though. Especially the encore was extremely disappointing.

  • Alan Doyle and Barenaked Ladies were awesome

Phenomenal show from start to finish. Both bands absolutely killed it.

  • fabulous show

    by raindrops1 on 2015-11-05Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

The opening act and BNL both kept the audience engaged with not only getting us to sing with them, but entertaning stores. More then once they had the whole audience up and dancing and singing. I'd definetly go and see them again.

  • Great toe tapping fun

by MBfanforever on 2015-11-04Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the show! I went for Alan Doyle and he was fabulous as usual! My first BNL show and they did great!! Lots of fun and interaction with AD's band too which was a treat! The only down side was when Alan came out to sign books/take pics there was no orderly fashion to get to him, it was a mob scene...we got third in line and when he came out people were coming from every direction. There should have been someone in charge to make this go more smoothly and direct the lineup.

  • From start to finish.......totally fantastic!

by TheFutureMrsAllan on 2015-11-04Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

These guys put a smile on your face and rhythm in your soul. I'm a convert!! Loved the whole evening.

  • Alan Doyle was great!

Alan Doyle was great! His energy and his band's musicianship are awesome...so much so that they put BNL to shame. I left after a few BNL tunes.

  • Bare Naked Ladies & Alan Doyle were great!

    by Snoopy14 on 2015-11-04Canalta Centre - Medicine HatRating: 4 out of 5

This was the third time I've seen BNL and they are very entertaining!! Alan Doyle and the Beautiful Gypsies really got the crowd rolling!

  • Great Night of Fun

by Kasey on 2015-11-04Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

I've never been a rabid BNL fan, probably more so of Alan Doyle from GBS, but I picked up tickets on a bit of a whim. Basically it was a lot of talented musicians having a good time. There was lots of audience interaction and the bands mixed up and played a bit in each others sets. It was a lot of fun!

  • Barenaked Ladies with Alan Doyle

by RitaG on 2015-11-04Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Great concert Alan Doyle was so entertaining, love his music. He also had an amazing violinist to compliment him. Barenaked Ladies was great - they are so talented in all the different instruments they play and got the crowd involved.

  • by Anonymous on 2015-11-04Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

The show from both artists was excellent. Allan Doyle and BNL both musically were very entertaining and a joy to take in. The only negative from the show was the lighting from the stage when it was directed at the audience and our faces. These are blinding lights and took away significantly from the experience. Nothing wrong with stage lights, just don't shine them in the faces of the audience.

  • Exactly what a concert should be!

by DaniLion on 2015-11-03Canalta Centre - Medicine HatRating: 5 out of 5

I would go see BNL again in a heartbeat. Definitely a night to brag about. Everything I wanted it to be and more. Amazing job done well guys!

  • BNL knows how to entertain a crowd

by Piddy on 2015-11-02Canalta Centre - Medicine HatRating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time at the concert. They improvised songs, talked with the audience and sang great. They brought up Alan Doyle and his band to do a big group number, which was a lot of fun too. I've seen them 10 times before and will see them as many times as possible in the future.

  • Energy filled concert

The concert was amazing. Love the energy and getting the crowd involved.

  • Good ole Canadian band!!

This was my first time seeing Barenaked Ladies and they were amazing!! They sounded great and you could tell they were all having fun throughout the concert. They played a mixture of their older songs as well as some of their newer ones (and a surprise mashup cover of other artists near the end of the concert). It was great to see them talk about local places in the city and I suspect they do this for each city they visit. Alan Doyle was an incredible opening act!! He sounded great and took the time to do photos/autographs with the fans in between his set and BNL's (at least in the venue I was at). I can honestly say you are missing out if you don't go see them!!
