I got more than my moneys worth out of both performers.
Awesome show! Great entertainers and wonderful musicians! Would follow them around and see all their shows if "I had a Million Dollars"!!!! Lots of fun the guys kept everyone laughing with their antics and everyone dancing with the music! Don't miss this show!!
Alan Doyle was definitely a treat as an opening act to Barenaked Ladies. Than when Barenaked Ladies came on the place rocked from start to finish. The sound was awesome & they were so entertaining. Loved every minute of it!
Both bands were great. The entertainment was light and at times comedic. Love the sense of humour that BNL has.
Attended the concert and it was amazing. The energy was great, Alan Doyle and the Beautiful Gypsies did a great job as the opening band. They also preformed with the Barenaked Ladies. It was a really fun, lively evening and it was clear the Bands were having fun as well. Barenaked Ladies as always were awesome, they played some of my favorites and new songs, great energy and made it so amazing. If you get a chance go see it. highly recommend it.
great concert overall, both acts, my only complaint would be the bare naked ladies did not play another postcard would have rather heard that than the covers they did do.
Fan-tab-ulous! Glad to see they haven't lost any of their enthusiasm! Particularly liked the "freestyle" at the end of the show! BNL rule!
Enjoyed the show despite the band losing a few members over the years.
BNL was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME !!!! and Alan Doyle sure got the house warmed up. Best concert I have been to in a long time , truly entertaining, not just up the banging guitars. Was also great that they started the tour off in P.G.
This is the third time I've seen BNL over the past 20 years, and they still put on an amazing show. Pair that with Alan Doyle and it was an unforgettable performance!
Barenaked Ladies - I have always liked their music but was never a huge fan... this show changed all that!! Impressive musicianship, intelligent performers with a great sense of humour ... and great songs is a winning combination every time.
Very good sound quality outdoors...funny comments between songs.....nice to hear their hits..missed the ex lead singer's distinctive voice....great energy level..looks like they still enjoy performing! Worth it for sure!!!
I really wasn't sure what to expect, but the band did an incredible job of maintaining the classic BNL sound. The songlist was a prefect combination of some some of the fun songs from their first album that made them famous and their hits over the last 25 years mixed with some of the songs from their new album. The crowd was smiling and dancing the entire time. They gave a personal, high-energy performance that I felt lucky to be a part of. I am so much more in love with these guys than I was before! I'd see them again in a heartbeat!
Fabulous outdoor concert in the park. great sound. fun band.
Good mix of old favorites & new ... as well as some great covers ... loved the last song "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin. Played to the Saskatoon crowd, introducing people from Saskatchewan & knowledge of Saskatoon trivia was a bonus. Lots of fun!
The Barenaked Ladies put on an amazing show, got the crowd on their feet and kept them there.
BNL are entertainers! You can tell they are enjoying themselves up there and they do what they can to ensure the crowd is enjoying themselves as well. The whole band was on their A game and just rocked it. They joke around and ad-lib as well as make sure to play the big hits to sing along with. So. Much. Fun.
Awesome concert! Music was great! They played old and new..... They kept the audience entertained! The venue was fantastic that night...
excellent event great music first time to Bess bowl did not know food and beverage would be available did not know to bring chair and sit where ever sat on picnic bench on upper level and enjoyed the show
This was an excellent show. After 25 years as a band, one could expect to see an impressive concert, but these fellas really outdid themselves! Every part of the concert was excellent: new songs, old songs, and managing to get the whole crowd on their feet! The stage presence from these four is phenomenal, seeing them in performance is highly recommended! The atmosphere for this show was excellent, too - the Bessborough Gardens in Saskatoon are lovely!
