Fantastic energetic show from start to finish. Openers - Ladies of the Canyon - were impressive.
The music for the BNL's show was way too loud. Hurt my ears! Couldn't understand any of the lyrics that the women sang. BNL was better to start with but near the end the music was so loud, I couldn't understand any of the lyrics that they sang. I am thinking I won't be getting tickets for a so called "rock" concert again. BNL is a very entertaining band. Love their music if I can hear what they are singing.
I love the Barenaked Ladies so when I saw them live I was shocked! I now love them even MORE! What a great group of talented musicians and funny guys. I am proud that we have such great Canadian talent! BARENAKED LADIES RULE!!!
What can you say about Barenaked Ladies except they are AWESOME!!!! You cannot leave one of their concerts without sore cheeks from laughing and smiling so much!!! This concert did not disappoint, if only all rock shows were this GREAT!!
First off I have to say I've never left a concert but the 1st opening act was so bad we went to the lobby to get away from the sound. The main act we came to see barenaked was in if they had been playing in a bar for a 10 cover but for $70 seats i felt I didn't get my money's worth. Especially the silky mixed songs of other artists they played at the end
The Concert was way more than I expected...the band was having a great time and so did the audience
Amazing show. These guys are so talented and extremely hilarious.
I've seen BNL live several times now and they never fail to impress. Every one of their shows are unique and their antics on stage will have you laughing hysterically. This was an amazing show!
I saw BNL 23 years ago and I am happy to see that they still have the freshness that made them great then. They are excellent musicians, with excellent songs and an excellent stage presence. Very natural performers, with humour, talent and charisma. Its obvious that they are still performing because they love doing it. A proud testament to Canadian musicians. Conclusion: Go see them
Ok, The first opening act, who & what was that? What was she on? The next act, old smokier bar voices, didn't get to here what they were saying, throw back to the 70's. The main event- so much fun and entertainment that time went by too fast. Loved some of their new songs, loved their jokes and experiences, loved the add lib (scarecrow) and really loved their old songs. I sang along with joy and abandonment. The guy's were comfortable together and made the audience part of their act. Congratulations on 25 years as a wonderful group, Keep up the good work guys.
Certainly Steven Page's vocals are missed but the concert is still a lot of fun with great interraction between the audience and the members of the band. Highly recommended and as much fun as I have had at any concert I have been to.
Great concert! The Barenaked Ladies sang new and old hits and interacted with the audience to provide a fun, funny and feel good show. Great night of entertainment!
I have seen them several times and this was definitely the best performance as a group since the departure of Steven Page. Was entertained the entire show. Laughed a ton!
Entertaining. Great to hear their classic oldies along with their new stuff.
Great entertainers! The shows was a lot of fun!!!!
Ed is so great! Loved Jimmy's playing! Who knew Tyler could sing? Loved the improvising!!
True to form Bare Naked Ladies brought out their A game on Monday night. Great tunes, hilarious interludes and awesome Canadian Souvenirs! I would go see them again in a heartbeat. The venue is a perfect setting for the type of music and charisma that is the BNL.
Going into this show, I was pretty sure it would lose a lot without Steven Page. With some songs, you could really feel the loss (he does have an iconic voice, after all), but Ed and the gang really did a superb job of making it their show. I had no idea that they were so wonderfully witty - their banter between songs almost had me falling out of my chair. They performed a lot of my old favorites, and wowed me with their newer songs. It was one of the best shows I've ever been to!! To top it off, their first opening act (the lovely Clara Venice) blew my mind with her sultry voice and sweetly eerie instrumentals. As for their other opening act (Ladies of the Canyon), I was not a fan, simply because I don't enjoy Country music. It seemed that most of the crowd responded well to them.
Great Canadian-type concert; played new album songs and songs that I enjoyed since I first started listening to them. Enjoyed their music and humming along with the songs.
These guys put on a great show and clearly love what they do. Their show had a great set, fun lighting, and a perfectly personalized show for Vancouver and an excellent stage presence.
