Over the course of 35 years, the beloved quartet has sold over 15 million records worldwide and built up an arsenal of hits such as "If I Had $1,000,000," "One Week," "Pinch Me," and "The Big Bang Theory Theme." Widely acknowledged as one of the best live acts on the planet, BNL has hosted a cruise, had their own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, and participated in the first-ever “space-to-earth musical collaboration” with astronaut  Chris  Hadfield. To date, BNL has amassed eight JUNO  Awards, garnered two GRAMMY nominations and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. BNL’s 18th studio album, In Flight, was released in 2023 and features 14 brand new studio recordings. It’s available everywhere you stream music.

  • Barenaked Ladies were fantastic

I was curious to see how BNL would sound and perform without Steven Page and I was very happily impressed by a great show with a wonderful opening act Joel Plaskett

  • Bare Naked Ladies Out Loud

by DeweyDoo on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

This group of very talented musicians proved that it's possible to reinvent themselves and bounce back from a difficult situation that might have left any other group in a trembling heap on the floor, after their lead singer of more than 20 years decided to follow a different calling. They performed with confidence, style and grace, giving their fans everything they had, and still found more to give. They each have a unique stage presence and lots to offer to the show, using many different instruments to lend just the right sound for each song. Well, sort of - unfortunately the sound was shockingly loud, and seemed a little better-suited to a venue like Rexall Place, than the 'Jube'. Still, they were interesting, fun and silly and I'd see them again any day. They sure make it LOOK easy!!

  • The most enjoyable concert I've been to.

    by Lam11 on 2010-04-15TCU - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

The Barenaked Ladies have a sound that just speaks for itself. It's got a quality that is interesting, quirky, yet very musical - - hard to describe, but in a good way. The opener, Joel Plaskett, was a perfect match for BNL: lighthearted, talented, and used a multitude of sounds in his songs. TCU was a great setting for BNL because it was not too big, not too small. Loved the show!

  • Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous!

by Vivigal on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

What more is there to say - the boys were on fire and the music was loud, proud and catchy. I loved it - GO SEE THEM!!!

  • by Anonymous on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Great show!! If I had a million dollars never gets old and they have a lot of new music as well.

  • Real entertainment, not just music

by Deadeye on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Man, what a show! These guys know how to entertain a crowd. They had a laughing throughout and played some great songs off their new album. They are an act that you have to see at least once, then you will want to see them again.

  • BNL still going stong!

by stuntdouble on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

BNL was great last night! Ed was in fine form. New stuff was pretty good, new sound for BNL. The oldies were great. Lovers, One week, etc. Wish they had played ENID or Grade 9. The jubilee is a great venue to see concert - just wish that you could get up and dance more. It was difficult to stay in my seat. I have seen BNL atleast 8 times - they weren't as funny and less banter without Stephen, but still great none the less.

  • Talented musicians!

by Teacher10 on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Great show - very entertaining. Interesting SMART songs performed by artists who can SING as well as play a variety of instruments. Enjoyed the song selection which provided a good balance between old favourites and new material.

  • BNL Edmonton

by Anonymous on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

BNL are seriously missing there second lead vocalist! Naturally a very talented bunch but it could have been better. Joel Plaskett was amazing, his vocals have improved immensly over the last decade!

  • Everything I want in a concert

by AnotherHappyCustomer on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed this event. The music was great as expected, but they were funny with great stage presence. I loved the little rap about Edmonton... tailoring the performance for the city your in shows that you care. I liked how it was at a reasonable volume so you could actually hear the lyrics.

  • by AnotherHappyCustomer on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing musicians, true performers! I can't wait until they come around next time.

  • BNL ROCKED !!!!

by roxxieroller on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

The music was great, the banter very amusing..and I'd go again...and again, and again..

Me and my husband were a little nervious about seeing them at the jubilee but they put on one hell of a show. will always love them. and we will always go to see them.

  • typically good!

by barenakeddreamer on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Just as I expected terrific musicians down the earth type of guys next door. Ed was always my favorite out of him and Steven Page anyways and he didn't disappoint. Witty and talented.

  • They still have the fun.

by Gennie on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

If you are stuck on certain band members you might not like what happened last night. Even without Page I thought the music was amazing, and the fun was still there. There was a perfect mix of old and new songs, and the audience was more than happy to sing along. If you are a fan of their music I recommend you go see them.

  • Ed.......WOW

by Gazoo on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

All were amazing! I was probably the oldest person in the audience (66) and LOVED every minute of the show. Sat 4 rows from the stage, it was fabulous. They don't need Steve Page!

  • Barenaked Boys

by Stelladenim on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

I was so pleased with the explosive energy that the boys in the Barenaked Ladies displayed last evening. Again, even after "all these years" they play every song with the kind of freshness that is necessary to entertain a full house at the Jubilee Auditorium. The lead singer sets a record for endurance. The bass player appeared to be having such a blast. The keyboards man demonstrated all of his versatility and although the drums were a bit overbearing the percussionists were right on! Good fun!

  • great show

by slindberg73 on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

excellent show even without the hits jane and brian wilson. still amazing though. great to see artists who love what they do and show it.

  • had a fantastic time!!!

by Alea on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

the show was GREAT!!!! All of BNL's songs are awesome, and I loved how they mixed in the old classics with new songs off their album. They always interact with the audience and look like their having so much fun in what they're doing that the happy feeling was infectious!! ps-I loved the mock rap/ breakdancing, i think it caught us all off guard!! Joel Pleskett (sp?) was an good opener. You just want to be his friend and share a beer with the guy!

  • by Cass327 on 2010-04-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5
