Waited over 2 years for this show and it did not disappoint! BNL we’re amazing and all 3 openers were great too.
To be able to sit and watch the guys perform and feel like we took park of the show was very moving. They played on the radio for our first date and when I proposed and at the wedding. Hope to see them again soon.
Gin Blossoms sounded good. Kim Mitchell was amazing!!! The Bare Naked Ladies were the best!!! Didn't disappoint. So much fun, energy, ad lib. They genuinely look like they're having an absolute blast on stage. So real and sincere, thanking everyone on the ticket and fans repeatedly. Blown away when Tyler Stewart sang Led Zeppelin (what a great voice!) & Ed Robertson hopped on drums. What talent they all possess!! Loved all the favourites; everyone sang along. The final encore Travelling Wilburys "Handle me with Care" with everyone on stage was pretty neat. I enjoyed the whole night immensely!!!
Too much of a push on alcohol. No signs for pop or juice were visible. Extreme overpricing of drinks and food made it difficult to enjoy the event. Of course over several hours we’re going to want to eat and drink. With strict policies against bringing in outside food and drink, it is predatory to price refreshments in such an extreme way. Everything cost double what it would at any bar or restaurant. People who earn $20 an hour should be able to enjoy life too.
Barenaked ladies at this point in their careers should be sticking to their number ones that got them there. Not new album drops that nobody knows. At least open the set with a number one! I don’t mind hearing new music, i just expected a great show after a long pandemic. Still love the ladies! Too be honest i enjoyed Kim Mitchel’s set the most.
The show was a lot of fun. The band was better than expected. The venue needs a LOT of work with communication though. I was there only a week before and besides a horrible experience with a torrential downpour, I noticed all the people bringing items into the show on the "not allowed" list. For this show, I checked beforehand and right in the email I got FOR THIS SPECIFIC SHOW, it says you're allowed one sealed bottle of water per person. We get there and they confiscate our water saying it's not allowed. I argued and showed them their own rules and got nowhere. Two weeks together, great show, awful venue.
Great line up: brought back fond memories from the 90's Great mix of old and new songs
These guys are not only geniuses changing instruments, alternating sets or playing songs switching singers. They have a great interaction with the audience, apologized many times and made jokes about the COVID related reschedule, had great openers and an amazing closing. Awesome entertainers supported by an impecable management. Thanks!
Was so nice to be able to see the barenaked ladies again, they are one of my favourite performers. What an amazing night 💕
Fun line up of musicians. But the best part was Kim Mitchell and the Barenaked Ladies! My first time seeing Kim live and I have to say he's now on my top favs list. Ofcourse BNL never disappoint. Love their goofy raps, silly songs and when they change the words to suit the times. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
A little disappointed with the encore. 50 characters minimum needed for this review.
What an incredible experience my girlfriend and myself had. Budweiser Stage is the place to see a great concert. If you have sections 300 and down towards the stage you have a great view and can see everything pretty much. Just like everywhere the prices for beverages and everything else are through the roof. Hell yeah to all the bands that played that night. You all rocked!! Kim Mitchell took the stage with an amazing performance and the Barenaked Ladies Stole the show and blew it out of the park.
All opening acts were fantastic, Kim Mitchell rocked! Barenaked Ladies, sucked! Played next to no hits. Very dissappinted considering its there hometime. Will not see them again.
My husband and I thought the concert was amazing. They are a crowd pleaser for sure! They had everyone on their feet singing and dancing! Would definitely go see them again!!
Had a wonderful time, music was awesome. Our seats even got upgraded!!
They didn’t play a bunch of their hits, likely to promote their new stuff for downloads, etc. I get that they’re trying to sell their new music, but it was clear that the stadium audience was not the priority.
the venue was great. when i bought the tickets two years ago it was only supposed to be barenaked ladies. when we finally got to the concert (no fault to anyone) there were too many opening acts. I really wish BNL had played more of their classic songs, not their new ones.
Amazing entertainers. Loved some of their new stuff too. Great combination with Kim Mitchell. Waiting to book tickets again as soon as possible.
The Odds as an opening act were fabulous. They were a favourite Canadian rock band of mine in the 90's. Paired well with The Bare Naked Ladies. BNL were tremendous, fun, silly, entertaining. Great value as well. Top notch. The Bess Gardens as a venue were excellent. Only one piece of feedback to improve the experience, the email we received the day before spelled out details about gate open time, bring lawn chairs, and other venue details SHOULD have been on the Ticketmaster site as venue details when you clicked on The Delta Gardens link. Not just their address. But we made some calls and did some investigating before to figure it out. The show and the evening were excellnt.
These guys are the real deal! They really are very entertaining. They shared life events along with their experiences and challenges. They can all play two or three different instruments and they all can sing!! A Really Good Time!!
