How can I put this? This concert was the closest I've been to heaven without dying. How does Bon Iver take such an intimate and private piece and turn it into a collective and spiritual experience? Justin Vernon's voice was as pure live as it is in recordings. The lights for this show were truly magnificent. At one point I forgot where I was. I thought I was dreaming. Are they aware of their absolute power?
Highly recommend this concert. Incredible band, amazing sound, better live than recorded, great show and lightning. Hope to see them again very soon!! đ
This was way more than I expected. I went in hoping to enjoy their songs, both old and new, but was never expecting such an amazing show! The whole stage setup, the way the LED squares moved around and reflected light, it created a number of different atmospheres that gave me goosebumps more than once. One of the best shows I've been to... I just regret not paying more money for better seats.
He played his hits which was awesome but the audience wasnât very involved in the concert. Also there wasnât much of a show other then the slightly moving roof pieces on the set. All the titantrons werenât used, unlike the weeknd concert I last seen.
Great show - if you been following the band over the past 10 years, there should be no surprise to the electronic vibes. IMO Justin and crew Killed it -
We were sitting in section 310 and it was a completely obstructed view without the ticket price of an obstructed view. You couldn't even see the side of the stage. The screens were basically on the floor and obstructing the view of the stage, but we couldn't see the front of the screens. Everyone in my section was talking and moving around because no one could see a damn thing. Worst concert I have ever been too. I had friends in other sections who couldn't see anything either, but my obstructed view was by far the worst. Makes me never want to see another show at Scotiabank arena EVER. I should have been warned before buying the tickets. Disgraceful
The concert was great - bon iver is very talented! However my seat was broken at scotiabank, so the experience was a little uncomfortable the whole show as I had to essentially squat in the spot where my seat should have been. My legs went numb halfway through the show from squatting :(

I had a great time but honestly was there to see Feist. I wish her set was longer. The venue was great in terms of accomodations and organization - faster trip through security I can remember
I was looking forward to seeing Bon Iver so much but found I left feeling really disappointed The sound quality was off - not clean or crisp...maybe venue? The video screens were terrible. Couldnât see anything clear - too granulated.
Unfortunately our tickets were not marked as obstructed view. Our seats were in the 300s and all we could see were speakers. We left after Feist performed.
It is very rare I leave reviews, but this is one band that is better live (and I liked them a lot already). So many non-standard aspects that so many other bands don't have such as: first and foremost, 2 drummers; drummers that also sing (to contribute to the performance, not just in their spare time or with other bands); a brass section; 9 people on stage; voice quality that is better in person (rare); rad-assed stage lighting. I could have sat through the exact same show again immediately after it ended and not felt like I saw the same show twice - so much to take in if you're into paying attention to what each person is contributing to the performance.
I was looking forward to seeing Bon Iver live. Glad I went but it wasn't a great show for the price I paid ($85-90). The venue was not great for sound quality and my view was obstructed (ticket monster site did not show an obstruction). I found the band's two set-style broke the flow, too.
Bon Iver is a must see. His voice was unreal â¤ď¸ I highly recommend seeing him!!! The live instruments, such as the saxophone, were an incredible addition to the performance. Can't say enough!! So good!!
I have been waiting for them to come to Calgary. It happened and I couldn't be any happier! Absolutely mid blowing performance, truly unforgettable!!!
Aside from the extremely high decibel level, Justin Vernon and his clan were otherworldly in their ability to produce the incredible layers of sound, and the vibes were nothing short of remarkable. From the very first song to the highly-anticipated Holocene, their ability to fill my ears and spirit with mind-blowing harmonies and soundscapes, matched with percussive precision or tech-savvy arrangements using vocoder left me in awe for the entire show.
While we didnât have the best seats, they were definitely adequate. The sound tech had the perfect mix - Iâve never heard a show sound so incredible. Bon Iver blew my mind, far surpassed any expectations I had.
The best concert I have ever been to. Bon Iver is my absolute favourite and they did not disappoint.

I was nervous that the sound would be crap... I was wrong! I was wow'd! Bon Iver put on such a good show, we had great floor seats and the evening was unforgettable!
