    Pretty good...

by daddydave on 2010-08-29River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

Nice to finally see Chicago!! Show was about 1hr 45min.. Highlights: played alot of the classics that we all came to hear; Saturday, Anyone know what time etc would have liked to hear more though... I felt their sound really missed Peter Cetera though & sometimes felt a bit like a cover band. Now I'm not some huge Cetera fan but I felt his voice was sorely missed. The Bass/ vocalist who was taking his place was ok but, well... You'll see what I mean...cuz well hey, you still should see this iconic band. The Riverrock is a really good venue. 7 out of 10

    didn't sing popular songs

by celestino on 2010-08-28Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

chicago didn't sing their hit mellow songs which i was hoping to hear and paid for. Their lead vocalist (the one who plays the bass guitar) sung badly. Nowhere near Peter Cetera. The group should replace this guy.

chicago the best rock and jazz band

by locovan22 on 2010-08-28Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Chicago is still one of my favorite bands, they are the best rock and jazz band in the whole world. Last night concert did bring good memory of my years at junior and high school back in my native land EL SALVADOR. It also did bring me memories of my early days of being a Radio DJ at the end of the seventies.

    Chicago concert mainly for diehards

by grad89 on 2010-08-28Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

If you grew up in the 80's listening to Chicago you won't hear many of your favorite ballads at this show. The band seemed to be reliving the glory years pre Chicago 17 and left the rest of us who waited in vain to hear "Will you still love me" out in the cold. The few Chicago 17 songs included we're condensed into a medley of sorts. On the flip side, the women jiggling their 50+ something bodies by the stage seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely, so perhaps I'm in the minority

    Chicago still #1

by tedz on 2010-07-16DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

Chicago remains an original and exciting group to see in Concert as I have done over 40 times in the past years. The switching of lead vocalists and the staging are always fresh and add to a great evening of truly unforgettable songs. Bill Champlin's replacement lent a very different sound but he was great. The addition of a percussionist was spectacular and led to a delightful drum battle with Tris Imboden.I

by duddygirl on 2010-06-22Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

I'm 63, my husband is 74. This is the first rock concert we've ever attended and we had a wonderful time. The music was amazing, the venue incomparable. Instead of buying classical CD's, my next purchase will be Doobie Brothers!

by Stonewall on 2010-05-28The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The event location was the best i had sat through. Seats were comfortable, the visual excellant. departing and finding the way out of ceasars was cumbersome. the band was very good and enjoyed it very much..A good attempt by the band to replace Peter Cetera, but not the same.. We will be back at ceasars for another show..

We saw Chicago last night @ Caesars in Windsor. They were fantastic. They played and sang their hits, they were full of energy and talent and it was a great concert!! We saw Chicago in New Jersey last summer too and want to see them again. Please come to Toronto sometime - full house for sure.

    Chicago was amazing!

by bags29 on 2010-05-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Attended the show at Caesars Windsor last evening. From the first note to the last, they put on an excellent show. Kudos to the man (sorry I didn't catch the name) who won the bid to perform If You Leave Me Now, with proceeds of his bid going to the American Cancer Society. I thought he did a great job on the song, with no rehearsal as they indicated. The addition of Lou Pardini on keyboards was a very wise decision on the band's part. His vocal abilities are fantastic, giving Jason a break on a few of the songs. Love the addition of the mic headsets - gives everyone much more freedom to roam the stage, allowing for more interaction between the band members and the fans. All in all a great show, and am looking forward to the show with the Doobie Brothers at DTE July 14th.
