After more than 15 years, Culture Club are returning to Australia in June with Perth being their official first performance of their world tour. These shows will see the original line-up on stage: singer Boy George, guitarist / keyboardist Roy Hay, bassist Mikey Craig and drummer Jon Moss.
Adulation around the world and soaring record sales saw Culture Club become one of the biggest bands on the planet back in the 1980’s. Over the course of their career, they have 50 million record sales to their name. The band went on to achieve stunning success with their debut album Kissing To Be Clever and in particular, scoring three Top Ten hits in the US and becoming the first group to hit that milestone since The Beatles. ‘’Time (Clock of the Heart)” has also been included on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's list of 500 songs that shaped rock and roll. In 1984, Culture Club won the Brit Award for Best British Group and Best British single for ‘’Karma Chameleon’’ and also won a the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Quite simply, Culture Club are considered one of the most successful bands of their generation.

Berlin and Howard Jones were great.Boy George...not so great.
The show was brilliant. Boy George is funny entertaining. Had the best time. I felt like I was 13 again.
Culture Club and Boy George put on a very entertaining concert. Sounded great and put on suck a good show. Howard Jones was awesome and still really hit the notes and sounded superb! Berlin as well sounded great and put on an excellent show. Super evening and what a great venue to see these three terrific bands!!
C.C. was disappointing. The tempo of his his songs was too slow and he sang material I didn't know. I was expecting the songs from the 80s considering we haven't heard from him in years. Completely underwhelming. Hojo on the the other hand was superb. So good in fact I'm going to go and see him at his own concert in September in St. Catherine's. He stole the show. Boy George should have capitalized on the energy Hojo created.
Great concert! I've been waiting many years to see them!
Berlin, Howard Jones, & Culture Club were all fantastic! It was a great night out.
Had a great time, this is an awesome venue. I love attending concerts at the Budweiser stage. Boy George and Culture Club was amazing and I loved the opening acts.
Alot of energy. His voice has slipped to a lower octave. But Boy George still brings it. Excellent showman and singer. And still has tons of flair. His band was great as well. I would definitely go to see him again.
Berlin stole the show in my Opinion Terry Nunn looked fabulous as always and never missed a note . Howard Jones was amazing And what can you say about Boy George and Culture Club really played to the crowd and were awesome
Berlin, HoJo, Boy George…doesn’t get better than that! The performances were awesome and the bands got involved with the audience and made it really special. Look at Culture Club coming back for an encore and seemingly not wanting to run away after one song.
The band was incredible, and Boy George had an amazing voice. Lots of fan interaction which made the whole experience alot of fun.
What an 80’s flashback. Berlin, Howard Jones and Culture Club were all fantastic. It’s been almost 40 years since the first time we saw them but they were just as amazing.
Had a fantastic time and would love to see them again, if the opportunity ome around
I waited forty years to see this amazing group live, from the first time I heard them at the age of fifteen when they hit the music world like a hurricane. I have always been the biggest number fan of Boy George and Culture Club. I didn't care what it was going to cost me to be right upfront and they definitely didn't let me down, Boy George sang beautifully and the band was entertaining till the last song. The only thing missing was the original drummer Jon whom I was excited to see as well. Thank you Boy George and Culture Club for making my dream come true and I can't wait to see you again soon ❤️ hopefully in 2023. Your #1 fan forever Joe Orser
Dan Bailey was great and played some classic twins songs , B52’s should’ve been the headliner they played all great songs and sounded great , Boy George was terrible he had so few hit songs that they played and at least 4 or maybe 5 cover songs
An amazing evening. Murray Head was shining. Tom Bailey gave a stellar performance. Boy George and Culture Club were in perfect shape. Old and new material was great.
It was awesome to be able to see these legends in person. I'm a big Tom Bailey fan musically and it was a wonderful moment to be able to see him live. About the main event, Boy George delivered as an entertainer but the magic came from the whole group on stage. There were so many talented musicians and vocalists with him that it turned a good show into an unforgettable one.
Un show incroyable. Retour dans les années 80, boy georges n’a pas perdu sa voix extraordinaire et son sens du rythme. La foule était très animée, j’ai eu une belle soirée.
I had seen all the bands play back in the 80s. So happy that Tom Bailey sounds exactly the same. His new songs are just as good as the classic hits. The B52s had the crowd on their feet the entire time. Boy George’s voice is strong and their backup singers were amazing. He is also very charming when talking to the crowd.
Culture Club never seize to amaze! After all these years they are still awesome performers. I've had the opportunity to see Culture Club in bigger venues in the past, but I have to say I sincerely enjoyed this more intimate setting at Rebel. Boy George still has a wonderful voice and stage presence. Also his back up vocalists did a superb job. Culture Club are an A1 band and still Rock!
