Disney Presents The Lion King (Touring) Tickets

The special effects were amazing! Being able to put the story into a stage play would not be easy but it was made to look like the action was real. Very imaginative. Fantastic voices!

Lion king was a Splendid show. We went as a family and enjoyed every moment of it.

A little hard to hear at times. Loud but not clear. Costumes, set and characters awesome. A fabulous interpretation of a classic :-)

The costumes were unforgettable and the singing of Rafiki was superb!!

We saw the Lion King on Friday, Aug 21/15 at the Jubilee in Calgary. The staging and costumes were AMAZING, but it seemed like there were sound issues. There were parts where it was so loud it was screeching, and I actually had to cover my ears (we were about 1/2 way back, in the middle, on the main floor). It really detracted from our enjoyment of the performance :(

Puppetry and set design were lovely! We were in the right balcony rows E,F, H,K. The set seemed to be heavily weighted for the action to happen on the right side as you are looking at the stage. Unfortunately, for those of us in the aisle seats on far right, many times the action was happening where we actually could NOT see it. I would have thought the directors would pay attention to that simple thing. Regarding the music, the band sounds were overpowering the vocalists most of the time, especially Nala in the last act. This is very unfortunate, as unless you have just watched the movie, you would be unable to hear the words .

This show was excellent. The costumes, the music were fantastic. The opening scene was utterly awe inspiring. The actors did such an amazing job bringing this show to the stage! There were some differences from the movie which made it all the better!

Loved it the first time I saw this show and loving it all over again after this show! I have been a big fan of Lionking since the movie first originated. The live stage production was amazing and emphasizes the core of the movie, that the animation doesn't portray to most audiences. The music, voices and characters are like no other. Just amazing. ****** 6 stars :)

Absolutely amazing! From the costumes, set design, actual performers everything was wonderful.. Even hubbys would love it if they don't typically like musicals

Colourful, exciting costumes, with talented people in them! Steady pace of entertainment, many humorous moments. Loved the live orchestra, the sound was amazing.

There was so much awe inspiring detail to the costumes that it was hard to focus on just one thing. It would definitely be something one would need to see multiple times to capture everything that was going on at any given moment. A visual smorgasbord!

This was a fabulous performance .The tickets were expensive but well worth the money. I would highly recommend this show and would definitely see it again . Everything about this production was just excellent.

I saw Lion King on Broadway and just had to take my granddaughter for this unforgettable experience. She is 13 yrs old and this will have a lasting impression on her as she participates in theatre in school. The Calgary Show is so comparable to Broadway. Don't miss it.

Amazing show. I had goosebumps the whole time. Would definitely want to see it again. The costumes were amazing!!

The most magical experience. I was the kid in the audience, pointing at all of the spectacular costumes and props that made a whole Savannah come to life.

When the animals came down the aisles- near the beginning. It sent chills down my back! The elephant and giraffes were stunning!! The voices when all the colourful dances and chorus were on was out of this world! Fantastic!!! Costumes thought provoking!!

It was spectacular , the movement of the animals, the African sounds the way they made their way up on the stage especially the elephant and I loved the giraffes. The soloists were amazing some of the group numbers were difficult to make out the words . Overall I would definitely see again.

best entertainment ever - the young Nala and Simba were very good young actors

Loved Timon and Pumbaa..The costumes were outstanding. All ages will love it
