Incredibly meaningful experience and a roller coaster of emotions. Thank you Feist!
Grateful to have experienced this intimate and visceral performance. Absolutely beautiful.
This was in my top 3 concerts of all time! Just a wonderful statement of the enduring nature of the human experience we all have went through. It’s so wonderful that this was the first live art event I was able to attend!
Hands down the best show I’ve ever been to. Super intimate and beautiful.
What a wonderful and intimate experience. The only way to see a performance.
Great performance, intimate, poetic, great sound quality and cool visual effects.
What an amazing show. For 3 people, the sheer volume of music was intense. The best live show I could have hoped for!
Beautiful songs filled with poetic lyrics matched with innovative visuals. I didn’t know what to expect going in but I left with a reminder of how powerful live music is and it’s impact on my well being. I loved the intimate setting and backstage concept. So much to take in and I hope my memory holds onto the sights and sounds.
So wonderful to see a live show. All went smooth. The only downside was that the chairs were zip tied together, making the seating a little too snug.
...a beautiful evolving piece of music and stage craft, exploiting the opportunities of having a small masked audience of devotees who funneled to the back of Meridian Hall to be there with Feist. Lots of different explorations to tantalize and develop. loved it- so intimate - and then explosive when the curtain lifted. Brava.
We didn't know what to expect and... oh man.. that was incredible. It's hard to describe. You don't want to miss it!
Such a great show to come back to after a 19-month hiatus. It was so fresh and unique. Very memorable
I have seen Feist in concert 4 time and this was easily the greatest concert experience she's ever put together. Expect to hear thoughtful and layered new music and to be delighted by the immersive visuals.
We arrived 5 minutes past start time and had to wait outside and missed songs. We were ushered inside and had to stand and wait for several more songs. Once seated we discovered folding chairs bound with zip ties. It was cramped and nothing like the images promoting the show online. The sound was incredible. The music was incredible. The venue setup sucked.
Surpassed my expectations! Great way to do a show. Intimate and interactive, it was like a private solo show just for us. Her voice is electrifying. Have recommended to everyone I know that lives Feist!
What a beautiful & intimate show. I loved how the show was set up. It felt magical and the use of live art was so interesting.
We loved the small, circular concept of this intimate experience - we felt so much more directly involved in the music and thought the videography was equally captivating, helping to create a fully immersive environment. We would definitely buy tickets for a similar small-scale concert in future - it was like being in Leslie Feist’s living room, what a treat!
I've seen Leslie Feist many times both solo and with Broken Social Scene. This show was extra special not just because of it's timing but as a direct result of the hard work that went in to the production and presentation of such a unique experience. At various moments I found myself crying; tears of joy, tears of sadness, just thinking about all that we lost during this dark time, and trying to be optimistic about the future. Feist's music embodies all these feelings and more, and in such an intimate setting, the emotional transference was that much stronger between performer and audience. All of the songs at my 9pm show were brand new unrecorded and based on the raw power and creative choices on display, there is a good chance it will be some of her best material when it gets a studio release. Most surprising moment was the big climax at the end, when Feist runs and pulls the curtains away revealing us to be on the actual stage of Meridian Hall, and giving us a surreal view of what the artist is usually looking back at (when there are fans in the seats of course). I loved the choreography, for lack of a better term, of the entire show, right from her casual entrance to her triumphant exit. My only wish is that she could have returned to play one oldie as an encore - Caught in a Long Wind perhaps? A minor gripe. Really and truly, I felt so honoured to be in that room and hear her play that beautiful music that moves my soul. I had missed live music so deeply, I almost forgot just how powerful it can be. Nothing makes me happier that we are on the way back to normality or something resembling it, and that Feist's experimental show was an early indicator that there are still vital artists out there that demand to be heard. My soul is now reborn, thank you Leslie Feist.
It was so up close and personal that it felt like Feist was playing in my living room. Of course, there were a lot of interesting effects. I won’t go deeper and spoil all the surprises in store for people. Definitely one of those shows where it feels good to say “I was there”
This is the best show ever! Intimate, beautiful, meaningful and every moment will live in your heart forever. Feist new album will rip your heart out, and heal your soul!
