Los Angeles-based thrash outfit Five Finger Death Punch formed in 2005 around the talents of former U.P.O. guitar player Zoltan Bathory, former W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts, vocalist Ivan Moody (Motograter/Ghost Machine), bass player Matt Snell (Anubis Rising), and former W.A.S.P. drummer Jeremy Spencer. The underground supergroup's volatile but groove-heavy debut, Way of the Fist, was released in 2007, followed by War Is the Answer in 2009. The following year, the bassist Matt Snell parted ways with the band just after they had gone into the studio to being work a new album, and in 2011 Five Finger Death Punch recruited Chris Kael to take over for him. Later that year, the band released their third studio album, American Capitalist.
All the bands were excellent, but papa roach by far was the best
The arena was smaller but fantastic !! Not a bad seat in the house . The floor was crazy . 5 finger death punch was great plus my 2 daughters were able to go up on stage with them for 1 song , so cool .
Seen Papa Roach in the past and they were awesome this time. Non stop action and their live sound is awesome. Was a touch disappointed with 5FDP; finally got a chance to see them live and the sound mix could have been better. When they were in full swing it was really hard to hear Ivan. They could use some spontaneity or new format as well. If you've listened to the live stuff on Wrong Side Of Heaven, that's the show. There were some songs from Got Your Six added, but it's pretty much a standard package with not much variation. Don't get me wrong here, 5FDP is awesome and the show was good, I just expected a little better sound mix from a band as accomplished as them. I do have to say though, the Jeremy's drum solo was probably the most entertaining one I have seen before. The guy is an unbelievable with an amazing kit. Super cool costume too!
This concert was awesome!! From ashes to new was awesome! Wasn't expecting to see them so was a wicked treat. They really started the crowd participation at the concert. Sixx am rocked pretty hard loved the messages of never give up in all their songs. Papa Roach was incredible one of my favourite bands since 2004. They really did an amazing show! Crowd participation and getting up in the stands was just incredible. 5FDP had pretty wicked stage show that pleased all elements, I loved their acoustic performance as well as the part in the show where they brought children up on stage. Wicked and thoughtful band that really cares about the fans. All the bands made and effort but papa roach and 5fdp really blew it away.
Wow wow wow... the atmosphere, the lighting, the bands, and the music kicked butt!! Persist played first, followed by Gemini Syndrome, Miss May I, Escape the Fate and finally Five Finger Death Punch.
It was my girlfriend first metal concert and now she is addicted to them. Ffdp was awesome and the whole line up made it a great show.
Such a good show. Love the atmosphere of the floor and there should be no other option with a show like this. Have missed 5fdp the last 3 times in sk but so not disappointed when I saw them.
This show was very fast-paced with some really good acts!! Miss May I from Idaho and 2 other opening acts, before Five Finger Death Punch came on stage!! The lead singer is such a great singer and is filled with so much testosterone, that he gets the crowd going wild. To remember the lyrics to all these songs, is amazing in itself, besides the fact that he sings them so fast! The crowd loved them and my friend enjoyed his first rock concert by attending the mosh pit and crowd surfing!! If he liked this show, even though he's a country music fan, goes to show you how enjoyable Five Finger Death Punch is to all music fans!!
was an awesome show, good quality sound, and such great artists,
Got tickets for son & friends at Brandt Centre in Regina. Got really good seats for them or so I thought BUT last minute Regina changed venue to Agribition building?! It was all standing and NO seating!?! Wow is that ever poor. I would have appreciated warning of this and some money back. However, The concert was awesome and The boys said the bands were great. They got to shake hands with lead singer from FFDP so they were pumped. They played til 11:30, so that was good. Great concert FFDP but next time we won't be coming to see you in Regina, we'll go to Winnipeg or Saskatoon.
Opening bands too thrash for my taste, but Five Finger Death Punch made the wait more than worth it!!!!
One of the best concerts I've been to in a long time!! From beginning to end, 5FDP put on a great show!!
Escape the fate was awesome and ffdp was even better!
Five finger death punch were amazing! The lead singer was a terrific entertainer and also had great crowd control methods. He was well spoken and respectful while still being a bad ass rocker!! I absolutely loved this show!
I've seen Five Finger Death Punch last year and thy were awesome, I didn't think they could get better, but they did!!! This year their performance and crowd interaction was unbelievably amazing!! Also Gemini Syndrome was bad ass! I heard them for the first time on SiriusXM and was immediately hooked, but seeing them live and meeting them was so awesome. Escape the Fate also did a really good job! Great crowd interaction as well, and of course they rocked it. But FFDP was just so amazing, they just blew me away. My fiancé and I were more than impressed and we'll see them again for sure!!
Flawless performance by an awesome band!!!! Nonstop amazingness from start to finish!
Awesome show. I'd see them again. Got a better taste of gemini syndrome and their music
Simply awesome! I go to concerts and other music events about 4-5 times a year, and this was, by far, my favourite. Great lineup from start to finish!
Amazing show! Would most definitely go see them again.
Five finger death punch were amazing as usual they sounded great were intense their light show was crazy and they played a great set!! I would go see them every time they're in town!!
