Fleet Foxes is an American indie folk band from Seattle, WA. Led by lead singer-songwriter Robin Pecknold, the band released their fourth critically acclaimed album Shore in the fall of 2020. Shore earned the band their second Grammy nomination (Best Alternative Music Album), and sweeping praise (MOJO five stars, Rolling Stone four stars, Pitchfork fifth consecutive Best New Music) with Rolling Stone calling the album "...the most immediately rewarding Fleet Foxes record since their brilliant 2008 debut."
They were absolutely incredible. Their harmonies were as amazing in person as they were on the record. The whole band (namely Robin), was so funny in between tunings and such. Ahhhhh, BEST SHOW EVER! Best BAND ever!
The show was perfect. Everyone was super into it! And the whole band kept everyone wanting more. Those harmonies! My goodness. It was a perfect venue to see Fleet Foxes in! Overall.. fine holiday fun!!!
They sounded amazing. Massey Hall was the perfect venue.
I just came back from the fleet foxes the atmosphere was electric the massey hall ecoustics unbelievable, the fleets were loving the energy and it showed real connection to the audience, many magic momentswhen he stepped out side of his mike and unplugged his guitar to do a completely raw song . someone shouted out "that was nuts.". and he replied "thanks dude..shrugged and said ..well this place is made for it." .. so sweet and continually enthralled they came back for 3 encores it was spell binding. i was moved..
The Fleet Foxes show was absolutely amazing. Not only were the band modest and gracious, but their sound was surreal within the unbelievable acoustics of Massey Hall. Their harmonies are truly from another planet, and sound even better live.
fleet foxes was amazing, and massey hall was probably the perfect place to host them! they seemed extremely humble, grateul, but more importantly they were amazing talented, and the lead singer definitely did not disappoint. it was like a serene lullaby all the way through....would definitely recommend seeing them live to anyone who likes them.
