i love u damon. great show, my first time in rogers arena too, everything was 10/10
it was so good. damon was amazing. everyone was amazing. crowd was so lit. songs were amazing. I JUST LOVE GORILLAZ
They were so great, everything was spot on. Loads of energy and definitely in my top 3.
I am a fan of the work of Damon Albarn. He shows such versatility and drive in his work. He is an inspiration to those who want to realize their artistic vision. The Gorillaz show did not disappoint. A high energy show where I did not sit once but danced and sang for the 2 hour of music. The diversity of artists he has working with him is amazing, seasoned stars and newer artists. This collaboration with other artists gives Gorillaz their uniqueness, with Damon acting as a sort of conductor to all the various aspects. Not only is one entertained by Gorillaz but I believe they must inspire other artists to pursue their own vision and take chances. They highlight the amazing potential that music has in genre and presentation.
Such a good show ! Great energy and kept the crowd buzzing !
Let me preface this by saying that I am over 50. I’ve long thought that concerts are too loud. And I say this as someone who loves loud music and that friends often complain that I play it too loud. This was the loudest concert I’ve ever been to. The base made your bones rattle. Literally. And it was constant. When I breathed through my nose I could feel the airwaves contorting like my nose was stuffed. The whole show. The base was so overwhelming that I didn’t recognize songs that I knew. I don’t get it. But apparently the crowd did. I think bands try to add a dimension that you can’t get anywhere else and loudness is where they go. And the thing is - no one listens to their music like that anywhere ever at that level. To be fair most people listen on mediocre stereos in their homes and cars. And then you go to the arena and they put it all in the blender. I just want to hear crisp clean music, yes louder than normal but not rocket ship loud. Damon Albarn is clearly a musical prodigy and the band is his. But he misses the mark here IMO.
Excellent show - everyone is so incredible talented! The staff at every touch point at Rogers Arena was great as well. Thank you for a great experience.
Don't miss this show... It was seriously enjoyed by all. 14 piece band! Seemingly endless stream of surprise guests... Top notch musicianship. Incredible visuals and sound... Truly awesome!
great energy great energy great energy great energy
The perfomance was great and the arena was farely large however the seats do feel a little tight as in the people next to me were spilling drinks and other things. I know there should be no vaping or smoking weed but im pretty shoor I saw and smelled some smoke and vape clouds. Not a fan of having no bottles and pouring everything in a cup especially since the seats had no cupholders anyways. But honestly overall it was great event and once ur watching you don't really mind how uncomfortable the seats where.
The whole concert was a amazing vibe and a party. Cool merch and amazing time.
All you could hear was distorted bass for the entirety of the concert. I could barely make out any lyrics or any other instrument. The sound quality in Rogers Arena is terrible. It ruined the entire concert for me. Extremely disappointed.
Gorrilaz was definitely a life bucket list sort of thing, also bring favorite band it was an absolutely fantastic show, 19 songs and 6 for the encore and they played New Genius from 2001, never played live before so amazing. Whole arena was dancing and and screaming, stomping like crazy at one part. Even Bootie Brown came out a lot, the guy in the original dirty harry song. Gorrilaz killed it!
The show was amazing. The sound quality in particular was impressive, the bass was so nice that you couldn't stay still.
The music videos in the background accompanied by Damon on stage was so amazing to watch. He still sounds great and I would definitely go again
Floor tickets, general admission. Fantastic show. Sound lights and video was all perfect. First time seeing them, I would not miss this show!
We loved the show. Enjoyed the music portion. Our only issues: the bar took our drink order, made our drinks and then announced “oh we only take debit or credit card” even though I was holding cash in my hands the entire transaction.
Amazing, since the entrance to the venue everything was smooth and to make it perfect the change in the seats inside the arena. Eclectic opening and great performance
Great show, great videos, great sounds! Damon at his finest!
The Gorillaz blew me away. They played basically every song I wanted them to plus more. It was so high energy it was like a non stop dance party. I traveled from Calgary to Toronto to see it and it was worth every penny. Would recommend this show to everyone and anyone especially if you love the Gorillaz.
