About

Electronic music pioneer Howard Jones has been a constant presence on the international touring scene for the past four decades, playing live in a number of different configurations including intimate solo shows and dates with his full high-tech band set-up. He first burst upon the contemporary music scene in 1983, with his very English songwriting and pioneering synthesizers with "New Song". His first two albums HUMAN'S LIB and DREAM INTO ACTION were worldwide hits. HUMAN'S LIB reached #1 in 1984 in the UK and featured the hits "New Song," and "What Is Love?" In 1985, Jones released the follow-up, DREAM INTO ACTION, which quickly became a Top Ten Platinum album in the United States and featured the smashes: "Things Can Only Get Better," "Life In One Day," "No One Is To Blame," and "Like To Get To Know You Well."

Howard Jones has sold upwards of 10 million albums worldwide and continues to make new music and tour the world. Jones has performed on NBC's top-rated morning and nighttime shows respectively, Today and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His ubiquitous hits can be heard in such high-profile television series and films such as "Stranger Things," "Breaking Bad," "Watchmen," "The Carrie Diaries", "Superstore" and "Bumblebee". Howard Jones' most recent album is DIALOGUE, which was released in September, 2022. DIALOGUE is the third album in a trilogy of electronic releases from Jones with multi-media project ENGAGE coming out in 2015 and studio album TRANSFORM out in 2019. DIALOGUE garnered serious coverage in outlets such as Spin, Stereogum and more.

  • Early Eytease Sweet MTV Memories! Time Travel!

    1. HOWARD JONES - I did watch him opening for Culture Club in 2023 (along with Berlin, who did a rousing cover of She Sells Sanctuary --- yeah!) and very much enjoyed his own performance. All 80s Synth Fans, do ensure to catch HJ at an event near you! 2. ABC - Finally after 40 years I got to watch ABC live, and I was very impressed with Martin Fry. Same excellent voice and delivery! DEBONAIRE FOREVER HE! Be Near Me got me quite teary eyed. Look of Love brought back the magical very early 80s days of MTV. When Smokey Sings was amazing (speaking of, my fave is the Miami Club Mix version). And kudos to Toshi Yanagi for the excellent guitar performance. 3. HAIRCUT 100 - Geeky nerdy 80s Nick Heyward turned into a 2020s good looking muscled dad! Nice! Love Plus One brought me back to the magical very early 80s days of MTV as well. Overall lucky to have watched it. MORE PLEASE! :D (p.s. shameful uncouth 50/60-ish goons very blatantly cutting in line at the men's washroom)

Had a great time reminiscing about the 80s listening to my favourite tunes at the Haircut 100, ABC and Howard Jones concert at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara. HoJo sounded really great and put on a great show! Don't miss this chance to see this concert. You will soon realize how many great songs you completely forgot about!

What a thrill to see these three acts together! I travelled from Ottawa to see Haircut 100 (adored their Pelican West album) and ABC (remain enchanted by Lexicon of Love) and to see HoJo again after 10 or 12 years. The venue, the sound, the song selection was wonderful. I couldn’t be more pleased with the show.

  • Howard Jones, Haircut 100 & ABC were brilliant!!

This was one of the best concerts I have ever seen! The music performed by two of my favourite bands- Haircut 100 & Howard Jones brought back so many happy memories from my teenage years. The Venue - Fallsview Casino was excellent and the sound quality was superb. The seats were very comfortable even though we weren’t in them much cause we were dancing the whole time. We were in the middle balcony and our view at the back was great! I would definitely go to see this line up again, and I will if they come back! Thank you Haircut 100 & Howard Jones 💗
