Journey is a multi-platinum-selling rock band from San Francisco, California. Originally formed by former members of Santana, the Steve Miller Band and Frumious Bandersnatch, the band’s current lineup includes guitarist and backing vocalist Neal Schon, lead vocalist Arnel Pineda, keyboardist and guitarist Jonathan Cain, keyboardist Jason Derlatka, bassist Todd Jensen and drummer Deen Castronovo. After releasing a few albums — including their self-titled 1975 debut — throughout the early ‘70s, Journey reached a new height of commercial success on the charts with Infinity (1978), Evolution (1979) and Departure (1980), all of which were certified multi-platinum in the U.S. The band earned their first chart-topping album in 1981 with Escape, which also yielded massive hits like “Don’t Stop Believing” and “Open Arms.” Over the decades, Journey has continued to release studio albums and tour the world as one of the best-selling rock acts in music history, with their most recent album, Freedom, released in 2022.

Night Ranger - so so, way past their prime...Loverboy - Awesome...Journey - OK but no one can replace Steve Perry.
All of the bands, Night Ranger, Loverboy, and Journey were fantastic! I had a great time listening to and singing along with a number of songs that I grew up with.
Loverboy STOLE the show!! by far THE best! Journey was good, but lead singer kept leaving the stage! woder why?!?!
Loved the concert. Loverboy and Night Ranger did an awesome job of warming the crowd up for Journey. Like every band, they played some new stuff but it was the old stuff that had everyone on their feet. Energy, energy, energy!!!!! Not a real fan of the prolonged solos, but Neal's rendition of Oh Canada was very special. I would definitely recommend this concert. Arnell Pinada has fabulous vocals and is a great front man for the band. Good to look at as well.
What an amazing concert! All three bands were great. Loverboy being Canadian was the best I have seen them in the past 5 years! Journey, though, was amazing. When everyone is wanting to hear former lead singer Steve Perry, all we had to do was close our eyes, and the new lead singer (sorry forgot his name) sounded amazingly identical to Steve. He was also much more active on stage being half the age of Mr. Perry. Great show, played all my favorite songs from Journey, the crowd was very active, and I would love to see them again in the near future! Journey forever!!!
The show that the bands put on was really good Lots of and energy and great tunes , however Night Rider and Journey recieved no favor from the sound man. The drums and bass were so overpowering that all we heard was distortion (we were lower level section R) The sound for Loverboy was much better and totally enjoyable. I rate all the bands A+ and the sound man F.....he screwed it all up
Night ranger was good. Loverboy started out a little soft but by the end of the set they were incredible. Journey was amazing, the lead singer was incredible and the original members can still rock n roll!
I only knew one of Night Ranger's songs but really liked all of their songs. Loverboy was awesome! They played all their hits and sounded just as good as they did when they first came out with those songs. Thanks Loverboy!! Can't wait to see them again. Journey was great as well! Such energy those guys had. 4 hours of fantastic entertainment!!! Thanks guys for making a cold night feel so good!
The music was great but the stage presence and set of the first two bands were less than stellar. But its all about the tunes and they all sounded great.
From start to finish, this concert was great! I can't believe how many Loverboy songs I knew! Great Vocals too, I was very surprised. Journey was amazing. By far the best concert I've been too. Arnel blew me away with his voice, energy, and audience interaction. I love him!
Was an awesome night! My girlfriend and I loved the evening. All 3 bands were really good. Was really surprised at how good night ranger is in concert. Loverboy still sounds great, and journey put on an amazing show. Really appreciated the playing of the national anthem in the guitar (sounded great)! Would go and see all the bands again (even if just coming on their own)
Really enjoyed Night Ranger and of course Loverboy is always solid. However, Jouney was disappointing. We were the third couple to leave in our immediate area 10-15 minutes after they started playing. Could see other people talking and shaking their heads. Much ado about nothing............
The band Journey was awesome. The replacement singer for Steve Perry was not. His mic could have been tuned better, he cut in and out, he doesn't hit the notes he should, and I was glad when the band did back up to drown him out. First rate musicians though.
All three acts were very good. I enjoy watching the musicians . Journey was Fantastic
I totally enjoyed the concert, I am in my mid 40 and these groups were big when I was a young adult.
It was great to see so many of the original members of the bands! Night Ranger put on a great show - I have waited 30 years to see them And I was not disappointed! Loverboy was spot on with their songs & The new singer for Journey Was amazing!! It was great to sing along with every single song from Every band!! Great Line-up!!
Went to the Journey concert in Edmonton at Rexall Place on Nov 27th. Night Ranger and Loverboy were good. Loveryboy was fantastic, and I would see them again. I think Journey has the potential to be better than they were, and like other reviewers, felt there was too much instrumental playing in between the songs. I found out after the concert, and quite a few shows had been cancelled along the way due to the lead singer having laryngitis. That would explain why he left the stage after almost every song he sang. Not sure I would see them again though. Overall, the evening was enjoyable.
The concert was a great show! Had a very good time. The only recommendations I would give to cut back on the long instrumental beginnings of the songs and if you are going to journey with the expectation of hearing an exact Steve Perry then you will be a little disappointed. The new singer is a very close second, but he is not the same. That being said, he did a great job.
What a group of technicians, and endurance like we've never seen. This was a nostagia fest and that drummer made me believe he was superhuman, 2hrs of continuous set work!!!!! Classic
What a great triple bill! We enjoyed hearing the 80's music-still as good now as it was then.
