    Incredible show

by Brazard on 2022-04-18FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Lets start with Queensryche. I do know some of their songs, and I am aware they are down to 2 original members. Still, they were damn good and Todd La Torre isna damn good singer! My only complaint is that his vocals were masked behind that loud instruments, we could barely hear him. Still, they were excellent! When Priest took the stage, just, wow! The band was so tight and ylu xould everything! The guitars, bass, drums, and Robs vocals were on point! The fact that Rob can still sing as great as he can at 70 years old is astounding! I think we also need to sing the praises of Richie Faulkner and Andy Sneep. Those dudes are filling enormous shoes in KK Downing amd Glen Tipton. Still, they both played incredibly well amd traded guitar solos just like KK and Glen used to do. Amazing show! 10/10

    Eargasmic experience

by Lokesh on 2022-04-18FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

It was my first metal concert ever and the metal lords made it a memorable day for a lifetime. To Queensryche, they’re hands down one of the best opening bands ever.

    Great show, too loud

by Priest Fan on 2022-04-18FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

I'm no stranger to loud concerts. I have tinnitus now so I wear earplugs at all shows and have for decades. When we entered Copp's and Queensryche was playing it was already to loud. Getting on the floor, you couldn't even speak to your friend without screaming in their ear. I get it, it's heavy metal. I've seen Motorhead, Slayer, etc. but this mix was horrible. The guitar was buried and I thought the PA was going to explode for the sake of seeing if the sound engineer could get the cabinets to fly apart. Aside from that Judas Priest was AWESOME!!! They always deliver a top-notch show and it's always great to see them.

    Entertaining But Loud

    by N. F. on 2022-04-17

Pros: Both bands played well and put on a good show. 2nd time seeing Judas Priest, 1st time seeing them at this venue (been to lots of other shows there) Had a fun night overall. Cons: Vocals for both bands were muffled. I like it loud but this was over the top! Sound would have been better if if they took it down a notch. It's not Wembley Stadium lol.

    Face-meltingly amazing!

by MetalManiac on 2022-04-17FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

For a man that started his metal career before I was born, and has successfully navigated 50 years of touring, including all the ups and downs that that kind of career comes with, the man can still belt out the tunes. His age is apparent in his movement on stage, but just listening to him singing, you would never guess it. An amazing show, and another one off my bucket list. I Was really hoping for Sabaton as the opener, but I'll admit, I was pleasantly surprised by this iteration of Queensryches performance. He's not Geoff Tate, but he's a real close second!

    Simply amazing

by Brian Peck on 2022-04-17FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

One of the best concerts I have ever seen. Then again, every Judas Priest concert is always an incredible experience, so it should not have come as a surprise. For my first concert back from the COVID years, this was one hell of a way to get back to live entertainment. Thank you, Judas Priest, for an amazing night, for being such an important part of my life for so many years, and I hope to see you again soon!

Not so crowed so very comfortable. The show was amazing with terrific visual elements. The sound was excellent! I find the ACC/Scotia bank arena terrible for sound now. Overall a great show

    Judas Priest

    by C. R. on 2022-04-17FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Had 9th row floors in Hamilton sweet....purchased these tickets 2 yrs ago and was a long awaited show. So glad the band came to Hamilton, we all too often get passed over by Toronto. Have seen Priest a few times and never disappointed, Rob's vocals set the level of excitement for the show. He is a leader in Heavy Metal Artists. Had the pleasure of attending with my son and boyfriend whom had never seen Priest and they LOVED it. I would have tweaked the set list to play more old material but a GREAT show none the less. KEEP ON ROCKING!!!

    Good but too loud.

by Metal Manic on 2022-04-17FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Queensryche we’re good, Priest we’re great. The set was cool. Downside, a sound level of 105 -111 db can ruin a good show. Not a good concert experience when you have to jam paper towel in your ears.

Great. Not just "great for a bunch of 70 year olds", simply great. Great sound, great stage set, great nostalgia setlist.

    Judas Priest Heavy Metal Blast

    by J. S. on 2022-04-17FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

The opening act was Queensryche on the North American leg of the tour. They put on a very good hour long show and were loud!!!. Equally, if not louder than Iron Maiden, kudos to Iron Maiden for letting them give us a proper opening act not censored by the headliners as in most cases. Maiden put on a great stage show with huge props, fog, a mototcycle and glittery leather costumes worn by Rob Halford. His voice was still solid as he plodded around stage in his huge heavy boots. ;At the end of the hour and forty five minute show, my ears were ringing for the next day and a half. Ear plugs a must next show. Disappointed at the outright thievery of selling t-shirts for 55 bucks a pop, but you can always get a cheap knockoff for 20 on the street.

WHAT? WHAT? I can't hear you. Did you say somthing! What?

by C. Brown on 2022-04-17FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

You know your getting old when, That was Way TOO loud! Good time and experience and great to see the all age groups and some dressed up for a proper metal concert. The bands played magnificent the light show, spectacular! But that was deafening! I watched the show again on youtube where I could define each instrument and hear that dazzling guitar solo. In reality I attended a Spinal Tap concert where all the amps, PA are turned up to 11.

    Judas Priest Always Awesome

by AP on 2022-04-17FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Everything was great. Queensryche were amazing and Judas Priest stepped up and delivered the goods. Nice way to celebrate 50 years with the Metal Gods Judas Priest. Thanks for coming JP and keep coming back. I was Row 3 on the floor in front of Richie and it was great to see him back and rocking after recovering from his heart surgery. Thanks Judas Priest.

Judas Priest & Quuensryche in Hamilton

    by M. M. on 2022-04-17FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

This was my third time seeing Judas Priest live. The other times were back in the 80's, with the original band, but I wanted my son to see them before they retire. The new lineup is a bit different than how things used to be, but Richie Faulkner is a great guitarist, and Andy Sneep does a fine job too, even though he is no longer the star. Back in the day, KK and Glenn played as equals, and I think that is what is missing now. At 70 Rob Halford can still hold his own. His vocals are a bit more screechy than they used to be, but he can still hit all the notes, and being almost 66 myself, I have to hand it to the guy. The rhythm section of Ian Hill on bass and Scott Travis on drums is one of the best in heavy rock. Opening act Queensryche were outstanding. It was my second time seeing them, the first time at this same venue opening for Metallica on their Operation: Mindcrime tour. Very, very tight band live, and their present vocalist Todd La Torre does a terrific job. What a great voice, and a very articulate performer during his onstage banter with the audience between songs. I was very impressed! My son and I both enjoyed this show very much. It's right up there for me, an old veteran of many rock concerts in the past.

    Queensryche/Judas Priest Hamilton

by Mark Williams on 2022-04-17FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Fantastic show, great crowd! Queensryche’s vocals were somewhat muffled but the band was clearly heard. Priest was phenomenal! Hslford reached notes that no human should be able to, let alone someone who is 70+! Unbelievable! Overall, a great concert from beginning to end. Thanks Ticketmaster for making purchasing easy!
