  • KMFDM will never stop!

by RedSonja on 2011-08-18The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

KMFDM's Toronto show at The Phoenix was a sonic symphony for the new millennium. There is something impersonal about industrial music, I hardly know the lyrics to the KMFDM songs I like best and barely understand what mastermind Sascha Koniezko (aka the Kapt'n) is screaming about on the new tracks But making a personal connection with the audience is not what KMFDM is about. On Tuesday night they assaulted us fans with their aggressive music and we begged them for more. The two encores were appreciated, but most were dying for another ATTAK. The band is still in top form. They played some of their old hits but mainly focused on material from the second half of their career. The fans were not disappointed because the new tracks from "WTF" kicked our asses. The show did not lose a moment of mad intensity. If you're a fan of their music, don't be cynical that En Esch is long gone and give this new KMFDM a shot, they more than deserve it.

  • KMFDM Sucks!

Misleading eh? But the show was kick ass. KMFDM always puts on a great show. Tickets are always good prices, and they're always worth more than what you pay. If you haven't before, check em out.

  • KMFDM Rocked!!

by Grimmer on 2009-10-01The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I've been a fan of KMFDM for over 20 years but was never able to see them live. Finally made it and was not disappointed. The concert was amazing, energetic and non-stop. The crowd was extremely diverse and everybody seemed to have a fantastic time!

  • KMFDM did it again

by bettyboopontario on 2009-10-01The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Well for me this was the first time i have witnessed KMFDM live and i was not disappointed at all. I would of loved for some of the other older more popular songs to be played like "Brute" or "Blood" but overall they still kicked a__....... i would definitely go see them again.

  • Ultra?

by Liberated on 2009-09-30The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

KMFDM did not disappoint live. Fantastic show. The only think that was missing for me was the song ULTRA. Other than that they sounded amazing. could have been a little louder

  • Better Than The Best

by Neikron on 2009-09-30The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

From the front, this show was more than unbelievable. It was a long set, of all great songs. Not only was the band energetic, but they were having lots of fun, and interacting with the crown. Plus, Lucia touched my face, pushed back my hair, and was staring at me from like an inch away. That was fantastic. Anyway, I would recommend going to see them if you ever get the chance anywhere. It'll be an amazing experience. It was also very intense in the pit; even at the front, it was squished in.

  • Amazing show!!!

by Witchlight on 2009-09-30The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This show was every thing that I have come to expect to KMFDM...it was friggin amazing!!! Right from the first track (D.I.Y) they had me. They played a great mix of songs and I was rooted. The crowd was nice an loud we got 2 encores. The band had tons of energy and all around one of the best shows I've ever been to.

  • KMFDM SUCKS! KMFDM SUCKS! KMFDM SUCKS!

by Corporal on 2009-09-30The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

That's what fans chanted in a sarcastic effort to lure them back for a vengeful encore. They obliged with an onslaught of heavy beat filled rage that threw the already torrid mosh pit into a self mutilating frenzy leaving everyone defeated and disoriented.
