    Hugely Talented, Very Entertaining

by Lily on 2023-04-27London Music Hall - London

I knew KT Tunstall is extremely talented, looping sounds she makes live to make it sound like she’s a full band rather than a solo artist, with a unique and beautiful voice. But I’ve never seen her live before so I didn’t realize how funny, entertaining and engaging she is. She told hilarious stories about her life on the road and the behind the scenes of music videos, as well as a bit of history and the background of her songs, and she made sure the audience was “with” her through it all. I would love to see her again with a longer set.

KT Tunstall is an awesome performer. She had a lot of energy and her talent is outstanding. I only wish her concert was longer. Her banter was great and the way she captured the audiences attention was awesome. The atmosphere at the venue was great.

Phenomenal concert by 2 talented musicians.

by Songstress on 2023-04-25London Music Hall - London

This show was fantastic!!! The venue timed everything out well, and the seating setup and sound balance were great. This show offered amazing sets with a lot of authenticity, musicianship, and excellent flow. Both women added the perfect amount of audience interaction through their music and sharing of hilarious anecdotes. They both created a captivating atmosphere and truly captured the joy and unique experience a quality live show offers. I would love to see both artists again in a heartbeat!!!🤩👏🏻🫶🏻🎼🎵🎶

    Pure Talent

by Les on 2023-04-25London Music Hall - London

As a musician that uses looper pedal, KT takes them to the highest level. Not only a talented artist, but also has charisma....and is good looking as well.

KT Delivers at the Rio Theatre

by Birdman54 on 2013-10-21RIO Theatre on BROADWAY - Vancouver

My first concert at this venue, really liked the seats and wine and beer service. KT Tunstall performed by herself with her ever-present loop pedal. She started with new material which was more austere than her older songs, but quite nice. Her interaction with the audience was good, it was the last date on the tour and she threw in a few extra songs for us. She closed most of her tour with the fantastic "Suddenly I See", but for us she added the beautiful Chimes. her cover of Don Henley's Boys of Summer was also very good.

KT carried the show on her own!

by Stella234 on 2013-10-21RIO Theatre on BROADWAY - Vancouver

I was blown away by KT Tunstall! She is a phenomenal performer, great songwriter and amazing musician! She carried the show with no band, just herself, her Loop Station and her guitars and keyboard. She was funny and her voice is so sweet and real. Totally loved it and also loved her opening act Brian Lopez who was fantastic with just his great voice and guitar playing. Really enjoyed his songs! Great night all around!

KT Tunstall - what a great evening!

by RNST on 2013-10-20RIO Theatre on BROADWAY - Vancouver

I first became aware of KT Tunstall when I first heard Black Horse and a Cherry Tree and later was surfing the channels on my TV and noticed she was a guest of Daryl Hall on Live from Daryl's House. She showed her depth of range vocally and was equal to any of the members of Daryl's house band when playing guitar during that show. We went to the Rio Theatre in Vancouver which is at the corner of East Broadway and "The Drive". We had a nice meal on the Drive and then walked to the theatre. Opening for KT was Brian Lopez who along with his musical talents was very engaging with the audience. He has a terrific falsetto voice and played some interesting cord changes to play off of his voice. KT came out and played many songs from her new album Invisible Empire/Crescent Moon. It has two titles because it was recorded in Arizona with Brian Lopez et al. KT explained that a Scottish Lass can not tolerate the heat of Arizona in the summer so she left the music in the spring and returned in the fall to complete the album. I found her "Mash Up" to be very interesting to record rhythmic tapping on her guitar, background vocals (her own), tambourine and other percussion instruments into a sound box. This was then looped back through the sound desk at the back of the theatre and accompanied her on many songs. Nice addition to a solo artist's bag of tricks! If she made an error, she would stop and say "that was cr*p so I will start over again". Her humbleness made the audience more engaging with her and clapped throughout the concert. KT is reminiscent of Norah Jones earlier in her career. It would not surprise me one bit to see KT filling larger venues and collecting a Grammy one day. This artist has a great talent and a wonderful repertoire of her own songs already.

Loved the show! Awesome voice, friendly and funny. Really great song transition from KT's own into Jack White with a kazoo.

    KT entertains as usual

by Heydrich on 2013-10-20RIO Theatre on BROADWAY - Vancouver

This tour was the stripped down version of KT with just her and various effects loops as backing percussion. This allows for her fantastic sense of humour to show through in the in between song banter... She is so very charming. The set list comprised of nearly all new material with very little from the first 2 albums. She is always a must see concert. I will say that the sound and suitability kept this from being a 5 star show.

    Amazing show, as always

by LucyMac on 2013-09-30The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

KT never disappoints! I love smaller venues like the DMH, it's such an intimate setting. It feels like we're all just hanging out. Small enough to pack in a gaggle of fans, everyone there was rocking along. If you're not a fan before you've seen her live, she'll make a convert of you.

    KT Tunstall - awesome!

by GinaSB on 2013-09-26The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

One woman on the stage, with a beautiful voice, great songs, and an amazing ability to layer percussive and vocal sound using loops to create an intricate backing. Add to this a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable audience and you have a recipe for a great gig.

    I love her even more

by vicentine on 2013-09-26The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I've loved KT Tunstall since 2007 when a co-worker absolutely insisted that I pick up Eye to the Telescope. Six years later I had yet to see her in concert and pounced on the opportunity to see her live at such a beautiful venue. What an evening! I love seeing the way a musician conducts themselves on stage as that's when you see their personality best. KT is an absolute doll. From her quirky commentary between songs to that amazing live voice of hers, she had the crowd captivated. Frankly, the experience reminded me very much of an Imogen Heap show I saw years ago, and that was, easily, one of my favourite shows of all time. <3 KT.

KT is one of a kind

by TroyBoyMC on 2013-09-25The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I couldn't recommend KT enough! If you have the chance to see her, please go. She is so charming & funny. I have never seen an artist who is so good at interacting with the audience. She had no backing band; just herself, and it was all she needed. She'd record the beats & backing vocals right before breaking into song and it was as if the had a full band on stage with her. She noted that she always thought of herself as a 'musician' not a 'vocalist' but her voice was absolutely stunning; she played an obscure song from a new EP (sorry, I forget the name) and her vocals were absolutely haunting. KT is truly one of a kind and someone I will see any & every time she's in town.

Kt tunstall was so amazing, I can barely put it in words. She is a spectacular performer and she's interesting too! I would see her over and over again! Her voice is so beautiful and it sounds better live/raw than in her CDs. Def must see!
