KT is the most talented music out there!!

by Singingflorist on 2013-09-25The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I can't believe how amazing this woman is, beautiful voice, amazing guitarist and pianist, her timing is spot on every time and she is such a lovely person. She talks to the crowd with such ease like we are all old friends and talk about funny!! I've seen her play in the uk about 6 years ago and she just keeps getting better! This one woman show was do impressive, her variety and use of instruments and her clever use of the looping station made you think there was a whole band there. Excellent sound guy too! Shame they ran out of CDs so early but EP we bought on the night is fab. Great venue too & fantastic seats! We love you KT!!

    KT !!!!!!

by brian1954 on 2013-09-24The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

What an awesome talent. Very different direction in her music, but enjoyed every moment. Production quality not great, and informality only goes so far, but a great evening was had by all.

    missed the good stuff

by coasterboy on 2013-09-24The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Huge fan of KT's, 4th time seeing her, amazing live performer, very funny story teller. Unfortunately, aside from 4 or 5 songs, she played all her new stuff. For me I really missed her older stuff which was more rythmic. She should have ended on a high note with Suddenly I See when the whole crowd was on their feet!

Early show really means early show!

by Marzipan on 2011-05-08Venue - Vancouver

I missed part of the show because in typical Vancouver style I arrived around 9 for the show expecting to catch her. Oops! What I did see was an amazing woman who was able to work a crowd as easily as she could sing her heart out. My only complaint is that's a Friday night and it's not easy to take care of the three 'S's and eat for an early show. Although, I was bagged and I loved the extra sleep!

Super inspirational for me! I did not want to leave. She is witty and made me feel like you were in her living room. Very refreshing.

KT Tunstall is an outstanding performer

by JDFIVE on 2011-05-08Venue - Vancouver

My husband and I loved her voice, her humour, her talent with various instruments and most of all her energy. Although the sound in The Venue was great, we were otherwise not impressed with the place. Too dark, dirty and sticky. The tables and carpeted floor where we were sitting were sticky and the area smelled stale - spilled beer and smoke from years gone by. We would definitely go and see KT again but probably not there.

    Solo = AMAZING!

by Kikikins on 2011-05-08Venue - Vancouver

This girl is a fabulous singer and performer! On top of the fact that this solo show required KT Tunstall to lay down rhythm and backing vocal loops at the start of most tracks, she interspersed the songs in her set with bits of humour and personal touches (like that her Mom & Dad were on tour with her for the first time ever). She made the audience relate to her, and we all became a part of the show. Her guitar playing was superb and the three (very expensive, as she pointed out - due to years of piano lessons) songs done on piano were a nice change of pace. I would go and see her again in a heartbeat. Hopefully next time she'll get an even bigger venue in Vancouver - would love to see her at the QE or somewhere else with amazing acoustics.

    KT Rocked it!

    by Girlie03 on 2011-05-08Venue - Vancouver

KT is honestly the entire package when performing. Her voice sounds perfect live, she sets up the background beat for all her songs, and has a stellar personality. She even had a new CD of songs (not available in stores) for sale and it was extremely affordable! PLUS she had pre-signed them all!!!! I would fly to Scotland to see her....Scots rock!!

K T Tunstall was simply amazing!!

by C00kie on 2010-11-26The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

You often can't say the artist sounds better than the CD but KT was simpy sensational! The cover version of erasure's- need a little respect was truly amazing. Her song list was the whole new album plus her top songs from the other 3 albums.

    Awesome performer

by didnotwanttogo on 2010-11-25The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

KT Tunstall has a dedicated fanbase who follows her to any concert venue. This time it was the Pheonix. I had never been there but had done some research to discover that it's a stand-up venue, and if you want to drink, you have to stand at the back. If you're okay with not drinking, you can stand up front (at least for all-ages concerts). KT mostly performed songs from her new album, which is much more electric and well-suited to performance. As usual, KT surprised us with interesting variations on her own songs, making us think every time that she is an extremely talented woman with a great voice that can stand on its own during accapella numbers as well as rock us and make us want to dance. The only con I would say is that there was occasionally too much bass pumping through the speakers and it was making our sternums vibrate, which felt a bit like anxiety and was disconcerting.

    KT Tunstall was outstanding!

by LauraofAirylea on 2010-11-25The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

I loved KT's music from the beginning. The first time I heard her music on the radio I had pull my car over so I could figure out, "Who is this awesome singer with the crazy wonderful sound?" The song was Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, which has a very infectious beat (all her upbeat songs do) and I was hooked. I had to see her live when I discovered she was touring. Definitely one of the best nights I've had in a long time. The Pheonix was a great place to hear Tunstall's unique vibes. I would say it was a great feast for the ears with all the dynamic rhythms and beauty of her softer songs. Please come back KT, Bieber has nothing on you.

KT was excellent as usual, the opening band was PATHETIC, should be dropped as a waste of time/noise. Female singer BAD.
