  • Seen Better

by First time, Last time on 2020-01-08Rating: 2 out of 5

For the price, I was surprised to see such a disappointing show. My friend told me it was not good, wished I listened. The dancing in the second act was very good. The rest of the show reminded me of a high school performance. I have seen University performances better. It seemed they had very limited money (or cheap) for the props, items, or stage furniture. The snow scene was the most disappointing. It is one of the highlights of the show. The snow only fell in the front right portion of the stage. It seemed they emptied a bag and couldn't afford much snow. Most the seats during the show were not filled, during the break some people didn't return, I see why. If you want a high school performance, this is the show for you. Not worth the price.

  • Let-down

Purchased 80.00 seats which where not the cheapest but middle of the road. There were cheaper seats for 50.00 When we got there we were in the first balcony very last row. We discovered they had closed the second balcony so the people who bought the cheapest seats had better ones than we did. Very unfair. Performance was not the level of professionalism that we expected.

the performance was incredible but the location was very poor. It should be viewed in a theatre not a hockey rink.

It was a great show but couldn’t see half of it as they had curtains blocking our view. Very disappointing!!

Probably my 5th time seeing this ballet in 1 version or another, and this was worth every penny! The Egyptian dancers in the second half were so spectacular that people were standing and cheering. Go see it for yourself!!!

  • Fantastic Show

My grandchildren and I attended the matinee performance on Nov 9. It was the first time they experienced a ballet with costumes, props, backgrounds and glamour. The show is an endearing rendition of the wonderful Nutcracker story. While I admired the flawless presentation of the difficult ballet moves my grandchildren were thrilled by the little children's performances. It was an unforgettable, beautiful experience.
