About

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) are an English electronic music band formed in Wirral, Merseyside in 1978. Founding members Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys pioneered a distinctive synth-pop sound, scoring major hits like "Enola Gay" and "Maid of Orleans." Rounded out by members Martin Cooper (keyboards, saxophone) and Stuart Kershaw (drums), OMD released several acclaimed albums in the 1980s, and have continued to record and perform over the decades.

    OMD...so in love! ❤

OMD have still got it. Such an amazing, energetic show and Andy's dance moves, well let's just say he knows how to pump up the crowd and pumped up they were.

One of the best shows I have ever seen

by Midnite007 on 2018-03-15The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Unlike most bands, OMD are very fan courteous. They where to be on stage at 9:00 pm and that is exactly what happened. No delays, no BS, they came on and gave their fans exactly what was expected...AN AMAZING SHOW. I saw them at the Phoenix Concert Hall and then again at Danforth Music Hall when Malcolm, their drummer had a heart attack mid way through the concert. Getting a chance to see them again for the third time, they have such an amazing Ora that, I could see them another time and time again and still walk out wanting more. They have never disappointed.

    OMD was impressive

A lot of times you see your childhood faves and they don’t sound the same, but these guys sounded just as good as they did in 1985, which is the last time I saw them. Will certainly go again next time they come to Toronto.
